I scroll through Instagram as I snuggle in the warm covers with my stuffed bear, Mr. Bear.

He used to be my father's when he was little and I've slept with him every night of my life.

"Alright, get up." Natalia's voice echoed in the hotel room.

I groan, throwing the covers over my head to shield the light from my face as I open Snapchat. I click on Scarlett's story to see a photo of her sitting on Finn's lap, making a kissy face towards him.

I swallow the lump in my throat as I click off her story to see that Finn has also posted something on his story. I click on it to see a picture of a bottle of beer sitting on a table with the caption 'much needed' written over it. He posted it three hours ago.

The sudden bright light in my face makes me groan, covering my burning eyes.

"I warned you." Natalia stated, throwing my covers on the ground.

"What do you want?" I moan, covering my face with my pillow.

All I wanted to do right now is lay in bed and die.

"I want you to get out of bed and stop wallowing in self pity." She put her hands on her hips, watching me sternly.

"It's all your fault with your stupid plan. It hasn't worked so far and it all seems to have to do with Finn." I tell her, rubbing my eyes tiredly.

"The plan isn't over yet, peaches. I have one more idea left." I groan, rolling over on my stomach and digging my head in the mattress.

Hopefully I will suffocate and die.

"Come on, get out of bed my sad little emo."

I turn around and narrow my eyes at her.

"I'm not emo."

"You're sure acting like one now." She says and I roll my eyes. "Let's go, up up up!"

Her commands are cut short when the hotel room door opens. Scarlett walks in and slams the door. She doesn't seem to notice us until she looks up.

"What are you losers doing?" She furrowed her eyebrows and crosses her arms over her chest.

"What is your problem?" Natalia asks, mirroring Scarlett's stand.

Scarlett scoffs and throws herself on her bed, grabbing her phone from her back pocket and types away.

Natalia shakes her head and rolls her eyes before turning back to me. "I heard there was a party going on in the pool house tonight after the supervisors fall asleep."

"So?"

Natalia's jaw drops. "We're going, aren't we?"

I shrug and unlock my phone to Finn's Instagram profile. "I don't feel like it."

Suddenly, my phone in yanked out of my hands and I see Natalia looking at the screen.

"Why are you stalking Finn's Instagram?" She shakes her head with her eyebrows pushed together. "I know you don't want to talk about it, but honestly, what happened between you two? I mean, I've never seen you like this before."

"You're right." I start, standing up from the bed. "I don't want to talk about it." Is all I say before walk around her and lock myself in the bathroom.

"And you're sure Finn won't be here?" I ask again, my heart beating with anxiety as we get closer and closer to the doors.

Seeing Finn tonight was the last thing I wanted.

Natalia rolls her eyes. "Oh my gosh-yes, I'm sure."

We stop right in front of the pool house doors with a towel in each of our arms. Natalia is wearing a red, white, and blue striped bikini while I'm wearing a light blue bikini, since I've been told blue is my color.

I don't see it.

Natalia pulls the handle of one of the doors and is immediately greeted with loud music. The entire sophomore class was in here, either jumping in the pool or chilling in the hot tub.

The pool room was fairly large with wall length windows straight head of us, overlooking the mountains. The circular hot tub was right in front of the windows, about five girls sitting on the edge with just their feet in and a few guys trying to talk them into their hotel rooms.

"Come on, let's sit by the pool." Natalia encouraged me, grabbing the towel from my arm and throwing it on the floor by the door with everyone else's towels.

We find an open spot at the corner of the pool and sit on the wet floor, sticking our feet in it. The water was pretty warm so I think it was heated.

"Welcome, welcome." A voice said, making me look up from my feet that were kicking in the water.

Harvey sits down next to Natalia, holding two red solo cups. He was shirtless, only wearing a pair of red swim trunks. He hands on of the cups to Natalia, and the other to me.

"I'm glad y'all could make it." Harvey said, mainly to Natalia who had a goofy smile on her face.

I take a sip of the beer in my hand, but almost spit it out when I see Finn walking towards us.

"I thought you said Finn wasn't going to be here." I whisper to Natalia.

"Whoops." She whispered back, but it didn't seem like she was sorry since she had a smirk on her lips.

Finn stopped in his tracks when his eyes landed on me and I felt myself stop breathing.

He was also shirtless with only a pair of white trunks on. I could see his v-line peaking at the top of his trunks and I instinctively bite my lip.

Harvey saw my face and he turned around, quickly standing up when he saw the expression on Finn's face. "Hey bro, are you having a good time?"

"I thought you said she wasn't going to be here." I heard Finn whisper, his eyes never leaving me.

"Did I?" Harvey's voice went squeaky in his lie. "I might have had too much to drink, don't listen to me."

"I asked you this morning." Finn countered.

"Exactly." Harvey slurred. "Alright, it's time for truth or dare. Everyone sit around the pool!" He yelled, making the whole room go silent as his voice echoed.

Everyone stood up from their places and walked over to the pool, mixing and switching places before everyone was finally settled.

"Harvey, truth or dare." A girl named Diana asked as she took a sip from her cup.

"Dare." Harvey answered, smirking at Natalia who smiled back.

Diana giggled. "Okay, I dare you to streak right now."

Harvey raised an eyebrow and looked at Finn, who was trying not to laugh.

"If that's what the people want." He replied slowly, taking his feet out of the water and standing up.

Practically every girl in the room started to giggle and shriek as she grabbed his trunks. In one swift motion, he was completely naked.

I have to say, not bad.

"Woo!" He screamed as he started running around the pool house.

Everyone started laughing and pulling out their phones to record and take pictures.

"I can't believe you hit that." I whisper to Natalia who's eyes went wide.

"W-What are you talking about?" She stuttered and her cheeks went red, which made me furrow my eyebrows.

"At his party a few months ago." I remind her and she lets out a breath.

"Right." She nodded.

I narrow my eyes at her, but ultimately ignore my suspicions.

Harvey ran back over to us and slid his trunks back on, sitting back by the pool.

"Alright, my turn." Harvey said in between heavy breaths from running around. "Finn."

Finn looked up from his cup, one of his eyebrows raised.

"Truth or dare."

"Dare, obviously. You know I never back down from a dare." He smirked.

"Perfect." Harvey started before turning to whisper to Natalia. After a few seconds, he spoke again. "I dare you to kiss Zara."

Even through the feeling of my heart my stopping, I noticed Finn's eyes widen a little.

"Uh, Harvey-"

"I thought you never back down from a dare?" Harvey smirked, watching Finn with mischief.

Finn bit his lips, which didn't help my racing heart.

He stood up from where he was sitting, placing his cup on the ground and began walking around everyone.

Oh my god, he's actually going to kiss me in front of everyone.

Everything went into slow motion. With each step he took, I could hear my heartbeat in my ears.

He squatted down so we were eye level, his blue eyes glistening the way they do when he's happy or excited. Though, they were a little darker than usual. I could feel his minty breath on my face and it sent shivers through my body. He placed his hand on my cheek, a wave of static shock rippling through my body.

I closed my eyes as I felt his lips connect with mine. My entire body went hot as we began moving our lips in sync with each others. I could smell his cologne that I've grown to love in these past few months. My entire body felt numb and my head was hazy, I was completely lost in this guy.

I could tell he was reluctant when he pulled away from me, but I kept my eyes closed for a second, wishing it wasn't over just yet. When I do open my eyes, I find that everyone in the room's eyes were on us, their mouths hung open. Some people were whispering while Natalia and Harvey were smirking uncontrollably.

"I-I have to go." I mutter, quickly standing up before speed walking towards the doors.

"Zara!" I heard Finn call as I pushed open the door.

I run my shaky fingers through my hair, taking deep breaths as I walk through the lobby towards the stairs.

"Zara, wait!" I ignore the calls of my name and continue on my path.

A hand grabs my elbow and turning me around, forcing me to look at him.

"Why won't you talk to me?" He yelled impatiently.

The sound of the pool house doors opening sounded so far away as I looked into his now dark blue eyes.

The sparkle was gone and was left with an emptiness feeling.

"I don't get it! One second we're kissing and the next you're running away from me and telling me we can't be friends? You're so confusing!" He yelled, running his hands through his hair.

"I'm confusing? For the last two months all you've done is sleep with five different girls a day." I fire back, a shot of adrenaline and a mix of emotions running through my veins.

"Because you stopped talking to me! You made me feel like shit for the last two months. I felt like I did something wrong, like I was the problem. Just fucking talk to me, Zara." He pleaded, his eyes dashing between mine.

"Okay!" I yell. "You want the fucking truth? The truth is that I have never ever felt the way I do when I kiss you. I have been with a lot of guys before, but the feeling I get when I kiss you," I take a deep breath.

He was watching me with the most intense gaze I've ever seen. It made me shutter.

"I-It's so intense that I don't know what to do with myself. And that is the scariest thing I've ever felt in my life. I have put my trust in so many people just for them to turn around and stab me in the back."

I was crying now, a good cry I haven't had in a while.

"I would never do that to you, Zara." He told me, taking a step closer.

"Yeah, that's what they all say before they stab you in the back." He closed his mouth, knowing what I was saying was true.

How could I trust him not to turn around a hurt me when in the first sign of a problem, he runs into the arms of different girls?

"It's late and I'm tired." I say, my voice quieter this time.

It was true, I'm absolutely emotionally drained from my outburst. I can feel a headache forming at my temper.

"Goodnight." I tell him, turning towards the stairs.

I didn't realize anyone was watching that until I looked over and saw Natalia and Harvey by the pool house doors, their mouths open and eyes wide.
