Pansy and I soon have made our way to where Professor Snape was.

We walked in. Professor Snape was sitting behind a small desk. He looked up. " Nice of you to finally show Draco." Says Snape.

" I'm sorry Professor Snape. I lost track of time in the library. " I instantly replied.

He merely nodded, staring at the two of us with the scowl he always seems to wear.

" That does not excuse you missing class. I'm likely to give you detention for this. " says Snape.

" I'm very sorry Professor. It won't happen again. " I say.

" Leave the room. " he said looking at Pansy.

She nodded and rushed out of the room. " I'm not going to give you detention, but I will take 50 points from Slytherin. " he says.

Relief fills me. " Yes Professor. "

His look darkens a little. " Now, want to explain to me why you keep sneaking out of your house at night to meet with Potter. " it wasn't a question, but a statement.

My eyes widen in complete shock. How the heck did he know?

" Yes I know Draco. I've known since the first night you left your house. I've become to curious now. " says Snape.

Snape, curious? Yes, he is much different when around only me. He is my Godfather after all.

" We made a truce for the year. Figured it was better to work together then be at each other's throats since we are from the same school. " I say.

He was silent for a few minutes. It started to make me worry about what he thinks.

" That is a very good idea Draco. I take it Potter came up with it and you joined in. Correct?" He said.

I nodded in reply. " Then you can continue meeting with him during the night. Just make sure you are not captured by Filch. " says Snape.

" Really?" I said.

" Yes. If you are caught, there is nothing I can do. However, I want you to ponder over your second task with Potter. " he said.

I nodded. " Yes Professor. " I said.

" Who else knows about this?" He asked.

" Only Pansy and Hermione. " I say back to him.

" Very well. Don't tell anyone else for a while. I'm sure soon enough you'll tell someone else. Keep it only one other person each. " he said.

I nod. " Yes Professor. " I say.

" Your dismissed. I will send you potions work you missed to your room. You are to do it before tomorrow. " he says before turning back to what he was doing when we had walked in.

I nod and turn. I walk out of the room and there is Pansy waiting for me.

She looks concerned. " What happened?" She asked as we started walking.

" He knows about the midnight meetings. Don't know how he figured it out, but he knows. " I said.

" Blimey. What did he do?" She asked.

" All he did was take 50 points from Slytherin. Nothing else. He said to keep it secret and only tell one other person at most if we wanted to. Aside from that, everything is still the same. " I said.

Relief flashed across her face and she breaks out into a grin. " That's fantastic Draco. " she says. I merely nod in response and we head to the Slytherin common room.

I'm still puzzled on how Snape found out about our meetings. Granted, he is brilliant professor and an amazingly talented wizard. I guess it was only a matter of time before he figured it all out.

I wonder if her knows about my meetings with Hermione? How would I explain that to him? Heck, I don't know how to explain it to myself. When I'm around her, I feel a connection to her. A stronger one then I've felt towards any other person I've know in my life. We just sorta click.

She just gets me. Before I realize it, I had been so lost in thought that I walked into the common room without saying a word to Pansy. I look at her and she offers me a small fond smile.

I nod at her and offer a small one back before turning and heading towards my room. I walk in and sit on my bed. It'll be a while before anything else happens, so maybe I can get a little sleep until then.

I lay back and close my eyes. I soon wake to banging on my door. I sit up and yawn. " Come on Draco. It's time for dinner. " called Pansy.

I soon follow them to the great hall where the feast has already been served. This is when the Headmaster announces that starting tomorrow there will be a special class we will have to attend for a while before the second task. I'm almost nervous as to what that class could be.

I shift my gaze over to the Griffindor table. Harry and Hermione catch my gaze and offer a quick smile which I return with a nod. Out of the corner of my eyes, I can see Mad-Eye has his sights set of Harry.

Why, I can't possibly hope to figure out now. We will definitely have to keep our eyes out for him. I have to suppress and shudder when the thought of what he did to me comes across my mind.

Once we're done eating, I head back to the Common room to find my potions work in my room right where Snape said it would be. I sit down and start on it. After a hour or so I have it finished.

Now all I have to do is wait for the next meeting tonight. We decided to bring the golden eggs with us to try and figure out what the second task might be. I still can't believe someone entered me into the tournament!

When I figure out how did it, they will pay dearly for it. Who in there right mind would enter a fourth year into these games, let alone two fourth years?! No matter.

We will make it through these games together and survive this whole ordeal. With that last thought, I grab my golden egg and stare at it. This is definitely going to be more difficult then I thought.

With that I wait for midnight while I ponder over what this egg could mean for the second task.
