Soon the Hogwarts Express has stopped and we got off and made our way to the school.

Soon were walking into the Great Hall and to our House tables.

Pansy, Blaise and I sit down at our House table. Slytherin.

There we sit and watch as all the new first years get sorted into their houses.

" Slyherin got more people then I thought this year." Says Pansy.

" Thats good right?" Says Blaise.

We nod. I look around the Great Hall before my eyes stop at the table of Gryffindor.

My eyes scan the table before stopping on my enemy.

Harry Potter.

He's sitting there talking to his muggle born friend and Weasley.

" Why are you looking at the Gryffindor table?" asks Blaise.

" No reason." I mutter.

He rolls his eyes. A few minute later the empty plates in front of us magically filled with food.

Soon everyone had eaton and were full Dumbledore stood up.

" Attention students. " He said.

Everyone quieted down and looked at him.

He first announced a few important things before getting to the big news.

" This year Hogwarts has been chosen to host a legendary event. The Triwizard Tournament. " says Dumbledore.

Everyone gasped and some people, ( The Weasley twins. ) cheered for it.

Before he could get any further the ceiling in the Great Hall started acting crazy. Lighting and thunder and kids were screaming.

Suddenly a bolt of magic hit the ceiling and it stopped. All eyes looked at the door.

" Ah. Everyone this is your new Defense Against The Dark Arts teacher, Professor Moody. " says Dumbledore.

Moody? That is Mad Eye Moody. He's gonna be our teacher this year?

" Three magic schools compete in the Triwizard Tournament, therefore of like to to give a warm welcome to the lovely ladies of the Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and their Headmistress, Olympe Maxime. " says Dumbledore.

The big double doors to the Great Hall burst open and everyone's heads turned towards the doors to watch as the ladies from the Beauxbatons Academy of Magic came in.

They walked in unison and stopped at the same time. They gave a sigh and slowly brought their hands out to the side.

Little butterflies came off their hands and flew around the people they were by before disappearing.

The walls a ways before doing the same to the other side before they started running.

Then two last ladies walked through to the front.

The Headmistress was a huge lady. Taller the Hagrid.

She walked right up to Dumbledore. He quickly greeted her and kissed her hand in welcome.

" Now give a hearty welcome to the proud members of Durmstrang and their Headmaster, Igor Karkaroff. " says Dumbledore.

The members of Durmstrang walked in and put on a pretty impressive show.

Dumbledore welcomed them. He then used his wand and a huge Goblet with blue fire in it was shown. " The Goblet of Fire. Now one student from each school will be picked for these games. If you wish to put your name in, simply write your name on a piece of parchment and put it into the Goblet of Fire. The Goblet of Fire will pick the champion for each school, once selected the three champions will face three extremely dangerous tasks. Once you are chosen. You stand alone. Here to oversee the Tournament is someone from the Ministry of Magic himself. May I present Mr.Barty Crouch. Who would like to say a few words about the rules. " says Dumbledore moving as Barty walks up.

He stood in front of everyone. " Do to how dangerous these tasks will be, the Ministry had decided that no student under the age of 17 will be allow to put forth their name into the Goblet of Fire." Says Barty.

People starts booing. " THAT'S RUBISH." Yelled the Weasley twins.

I rolled my eyes in annoyance. Dumbledore silenced everyone. After a bit more of explaining it was time to go to our houses.

" Let's go, I'm bored." I say.

Blaise and Pansy nodded. Together we stayed in a small group and made our way out of the Great Hall following the other students that belong to the Slytherin house.
