A/N: I didn't want to put this chapter up until like... Monday... because of what happened to Aaron... rip, Aaron. I'm putting it up today... so... ya... Hope you like it! ~Angel's POV~

"GARROTH... WHY?" I said/yelled at him. "HEY! I THOUGHT SHE WOULD BE OKAY!" He said, looking at me. "So... when there is a crazed shadow knight on the loose... leaving a child alone is the best option?" I said calmly. "Okay I admit it was irresponsible of me to leave Nekoette by herself, happy?" Garroth said, looking at me. "Yup! Now i'm happier then when we found her missing!" I said, indicating where Nekoette was supposed to be. He just put his hands up, a sign of surrender. I sighed. "You go get the others, and I'll start looking for Nekoette." I said, breathing to calm myself. "O-okay." He said, as I thought of something. "You're just the king of stammering aren't you?" I said, laughing. "W-what?! N-no i'm not!" He said, blushing more. "Ya you are!" I said laughing. "NO. I. AM. NOT!" He said/yelled, blushing more than before. I just broke out laughing, and hugged him. "I missed you." I said, tears streaming down my face. He had a look of surprise on his face when I let go. I wiped my tears off my face, and looked at him. "What are you waiting for? Go tell the others, please." I said, he nodded, then ran off. I hadn't seen Laurence in a while... I wondered where he ran off to. I ran looking for Nekoette and soon ran into Laurence, who was in his shadow knight form. I didn't notice the shadow figure behind him, same with the little girl out cold, who were covered by Laurence. I smiled, happy to see him, but that smile soon faded. He was hiding something... and I immediately knew what that something was. "Laurence... move." I said, coldly, glaring at him. He gave me the exact same glare back, this wasn't the Laurence I knew. This Laurence was a killer... I could tell by the air around him, it was the shadow knight essence, but the 2nd darkest type a shadow knight could have. The one that Shadow knights, who were born shadow knights, naturally have. "Laurence what's wrong with you?" I asked, as the others got there. "Laurence?" Aphmau asked, taking a step forward, but I put a hand in front of her. His red eyes turned to where Aphmau stood, staring at her silently, before glaring at me again. "Laurence, what's wrong, please... tell me..." I said, my gaze softening a bit. "Nothing is wrong." Laurence said, his gaze hardening. I knew what he was going to do, so I quickly drew my sword, and turned into my Irene form. Laurence launched himself at us, and I did the same, we met in midair. I saw Nekoette and the shadow, and when I landed, before Laurence could attack again, I launched myself towards the shadow. Which turned into Angel. She had her sword out already, and she blocked my sword. "Hehehehe, finally came out of your shell I see. Well... that was a mistake!" She said when I hit the ground, firing a beam of red fire at me. I dodged by flying high into the air. She fired another one at me, but I made a bubble of white light around me, to protect myself from the beam. I knew what I had to do... so did Laurence, who changed back to normal when he realized. "Angel! Don't do it! It's not worth it!" He yelled up at me. I heard him... but I had to do it. I put my hands close together and a bright, sky blue light came out of my hands.

(I changed this part a bit so it would be less... bloody, is how i'm gonna put it.) I started singing, as the light consumed me. When the light faded, I looked exactly like Irene... only, that my eyes were sky blue. Everyone was staring at me, as I continued singing. Laurence was the only one who looked down with tears in his eyes. I felt bad... but I had to do it... I had to... I fired the blue light at Angel who wasn't expecting any of what happened before. It hit her and, with a scream, she turned into a mist, and, with tears in my eyes, I let the light consume me...

~Laurence's POV~

Angel... HOW FOOLISH I WAS! I'M AN IDIOT! WHY DID I JUST STAND BY AND LET HER... die. I had tears in my eyes and I couldn't hold them back... the light disappeared and Angel, in her normal form, fell from where she was and I ran over and caught her. She was motionless. Aphmau ran up to me, tears in her eyes. She felt Angel's head, before shaking her own head. "She's... gone..." Aphmau said, tearing up. I set Angel on the ground... and Aph sat down beside her and used her healing powers to try and heal Angel. After Aph tried, she just said we had to wait... wait... the one thing I didn't want to do. After a few hours we finally gave up hope, and I moved to pick her up, but suddenly... Angel's eyes fluttered open. "ANGEL!" Everyone yelled, as she rubbed her head...
