The fireplace in the royal castle was crackling with flames when night fell. Ria sat on the couch and gazed up at the stunning night sky. With sets of shooting stars, the stars appeared to be pearls and diamonds. "Can we go outside, Ria?" It was Meet, and he regarded her with interest and anticipation. She nodded, unsure if spending the night outside wouldn't be harmful. She was in the wheelchair as he escorted her outside. Small drops of water suddenly fell onto the newly greened grass. When they were halfway across the garden, he felt the first drizzle. In an effort to see outside the downpour, they sought cover under a large oak tree. The leaves started dripping moisture in the form of droplets. They were misting the grass with water from a garden hose. Then the downpour grew more vigorous. Raindrops were pounding against the canopy of the oak as a wall of rain surged over the tree. Rain was dropping so heavily that it became one continuous, buzzing noise. It made him think of a helicopter's rotor blades. Eventually, the drips stopped making noise and turned into a melodic chime. Ria sighed as she thought of her legs and resisted the urge to dance outside the shed. She remembers the times she used to splash around in the water with Avneet. She missed being able to play, dance, and run. Meet lifted her up in bridal fashion as he started to somehow realize what she was thinking. She smiled and felt her skin turning cold as she was covered in the rain. He grinned as well because he was happy. But Ria was still conscious of his impending marriage. She initially struggled to control the tears that were burning her eyes. She sobbed uncontrollably, feeling powerless the more she did. Ria cried for a time, hoping that it would protect her from the terrible things in life, but in the end, nothing had changed or been resolved as a result of her tears. She was only sobbing. She raised her head to look around herself as the first few raindrops pattered down on her exposed head and neck, jolting her out of her gloomy trance. "It's Okay", he said as she observed him blotting away her tears. "I am with you. As long as I am here with you by your side, nothing will happen." He kissed her on the face, and she grinned. They could hear some soft music as he spun her around and held her tight.
