Danger- Ashi POV
Although it was a lovely morning, raindrops were falling from the sky. Birds were chirping and it was springtime. I was overjoyed that it was finally the weekend when I leaped out of bed. Despite having to listen to my sister discuss the newest fashion trends, it was a time I got to spend with her. "Good morning, Didi!" I give Avneet a friendly grin as she makes her way to the breakfast table. I didn't have to bother about cooking today because she was in charge of it. I was seen as an older sister by Avneet's friends, and I find them to be very kind and polite. As I pulled on my sweatshirt, I noticed that the drizzle had stopped and the sun was visible in the sky. I kept going until I came across Meet. But because he was in danger this time, I was astonished. His head was bleeding, and he had bruises. Even though I find him annoying and frustrating, I do not have the right to put him at risk. I started running away while I fought the criminals in a fight. Their smashes and hits were really strong, but fortunately, I had strength thanks to my athletic abilities. As I kick them and break their bones, I dust their eyes. They are not that resistant, but in the end, the others who weren't severely hurt fled. Even though I could see that Meet was in poor condition, I was still kind and brought him to my house. As soon as she saw him, Avneet's eyes widened, and she joined me in bringing him to bed. He watches me sadly as I wrap his shoulder in bandages that I pull from the first aid pack. I remained seated next to him on the chair as Avneet headed to the kitchen to get a drink of lemonade and honey He groaned and said it hurt, but I yelled at him to get him to stop. He appeared even more terrible than before, so I instantly apologized. "I'm really sorry; the other day I shouldn't have treated you so badly. You are innocent and my car was to blame. Such a jerk, I am. I should not have shared all of those things with you." I gave him my first smile and put my hand on his shoulder. "I made a mistake. I'm truly sorry. Though I am expected to behave like a girl, sometimes I just feel that girls and boys should be on an equal footing" As I pondered what he would say, Meet smiled. "I share the same viewpoint. But for those like you, the laws of the castle or of life are totally different." I was again taken aback. "You mean you really are Prince Meet?" Meet nodded with a smile. I considered how lucky he must be to enjoy every convenience while I, a trader, am confined to the cottage. "You must believe I am really fortunate. However, the truth is that despite their love, my parents want me to grow up to be a powerful prince. I'm sick of learning about fencing and history, and I long for experiences like an adventure." Poor guy. He must be very disappointed that he doesn't have enough freedom. "My dad wants me to marry a princess, but I believe you should marry for love," he said. "How will someone you don't truly know supposed to be married to you?" "At least you are blessed to have a loving family," she replied. "Five years ago, Avneet and I lost our precious parents, who we loved so much." Meet appeared depressed once more. "I'm truly sorry. I was unaware of that. You're correct. Hey, why don't we become friends because we no longer want to fight?" "I'll be your best friend, all right. In reality, this is the first friend I've had since beginning my new life." Since that point, Meet and I have hung together more often. As he discusses his time with his sisters, his lessons, and his life, I share my life with Meet and speak to him about the business and my life with Avneet. We also sometimes go horseback riding, which I have discovered I am excellent at. Since I also learned that he is so kind and caring on the inside, we grew close quickly. He is my perfect closest friend, and while I am giving Avneet deadly looks, she taunts me about marrying him. He soon told me that due to his upcoming schedule, he would no longer be able to hang out with me. However, I had an undercover plan since I wanted to spend more time with him. I made the decision to accept the name Meet Hooda and take a job as the castle's guardian. Meet was thrilled with my proposal and informed his parents that evening that a new employee had been hired. I was greeted with joy and warmth as I entered the castle by the King and Queen. His sisters, Erica and Jennifer, and I hit it off right away.
