I was on the bed in the recovery room. I woke up to find that all the lights had gone off. "Leo." I tried calling but nobody responded. I tried standing up but pain erupted in my body and I shrunk back onto the bed. With great difficulty, I stood up and limped towards the place where Anna was being treated. I entered the room and found Anna laying on the floor, with her back facing me. I walked around, my heart pounding. I saw Anna, blood covering her once beautiful face. It seemed like she was repeatedly hit by an axe. Her body was covered with deep gashes. "OH MY GOD!!" I screamed as I shook her body, trying to wake her up. Her eyes were open and were filled with fear and pain. Her body felt cold and blood covered my hands. I wept as I held her hand and watched as her body get drenched in her own blood. "NOOOO!!" I screamed. This could not be happening. What happened to the rest of the crew? Where did Leo go? Why are the lights off? I made way to the bridge, leaving Anna behind. I suddenly stopped dead in my track. Lying near my foot was the name badge on which Leo was printed in bold letters. It seems to have been torn away from the rest of the clothing and I could see blood tracks leading to the server room. I was terrified. I've never been sacred this much before. But I had the strong urge to figure out what was going on. I had to find the crew. I had to figure out who did this to Anna. I dragged myself into the way which led to the server room. 

"We've sacrificed everything for this Mission, Rithvik" I heard Anna's words repeating in my brain again and again. "You are the last of Mission Orion. Humanity now prays for you." I heard the message from Earth ringing in my ears. I reached the Server Room and I could feel my hand shivering from fear of what I might find on the other side. The blood tracks led into the Server Room and the door was firmly shut. Blood was smeared on the touchpad. My hand quavered near the touchpad where we had to enter the code to gain access to the server room. I decided the better of it. I decided to go to the weapons room and arm myself.  I didn't know what to expect on the other side. I made my way to the weapons room. I had to go through the bridge to reach the weapons room but when I looked out of it, all I could see was darkness. I didn't see the faint brightness of the distant stars nor the light emitted by the sun of the Xandion System. It was just plain darkness. All the controls were non operational and all the screens where just blank. It was very I went to the weapons room and picked up two automatic pistols. I made my way back to the server room. I could hear sounds coming from the inside. I could hear someone howling from the inside. I brought my hand closer to the touchpad and entered the code. The door made a hissing sound as it opened and I raised my gun. There was no one inside but I was positive that I heard someone howling from the inside. "Anybody here?" I shouted, my voice quavering. This was all very strange. I suddenly saw Konrad laying on the floor, his body covered in blood and his head twisted at a painful angle. My heart leapt into my mouth. I could sense someone watching me from a distance. Cautiously, I moved forward. Suddenly a dead body of Leo crashed from the ceiling. "AGGGGGHHHHHHH! LLLEEEEOOO!" I screamed.

 I fell back on the ground and could see Dave laughing, approaching me telling me I had no way to win this war. Suddenly, I woke up with a start, back in the bed, Leo shouting my name. "RITHVIK! What is wrong with you? Why were you screaming out my name? Are you alright?" He asked. " Oh my god, Leo. Are you alright?" I asked him back. "Boss, you were the one screaming out my name. I should be the one asking that question. Your brain messed up, boss?" He replied. "I had a nightmare, Leo" I replied. I shuddered thinking about the nightmare, thinking about how horrible and terrifying it was. I was glad it was just a dream. But it's going to take a while before I can get those images out of my head. "Boss, what're you thinking about? And why were you screaming my name? What did I do yo you in your nightmare?" He asked, a huge grin stuck on his face. "How's Anna?" I asked, remembering about her face covered with blood like in the dream. "Why are you so sucked up about her, boss?" He laughed. "She's alright. She's up and walking. You're the one who needs some rest." "I've had enough rest" I replied, as I stood up with great effort. I stumbled once and Leo caught me. "Careful, boss" he exclaimed. "Any sign of the aliens?" "No, Captain. We have had no kind of communication with them. Nothing happened since Dave's incident." He said. "Why were you so excited the time when you called me to the bridge? What were you about to tell me?" I asked. "C'mon. Let's go to the bridge." I walked slowly towards the bridge and Leo went to call the others to the bridge. By the time I reached the bridge all crew members except Anna were already there. Konrad looked okay and was back to normal. At last Anna walked into the bridge, slightly limping. "You alright?" I asked her. "All good, Captain. " she replied, making an attempt to smile, but you could still see the pain in her eyes. The image of her bloodied body from my dream again haunted me. "Okay guys. Dave went totally haywire the other day and attacked us as you know it. He was most probably controlled by the aliens which leads us to believe that they now know that we've managed to know a bit more about them. Luckily, we were able to take down Dave and avoid any such incident in the future. Now, Leo says that he has a bit more information about the current situation and probably about Dave's behaviour." I said. Do you Leo?" I asked Leo, raising my eyebrow at him. " I have a lot of information. But firstly, I have some exciting news. Well, the thing is that... Er.." He said struggling to get the words out. "Spit it out, Leo" I said. "Well guys, we have another robot on board this ship. His name in M.A.R.V" he said.
