(1) "To save me I have to send you away"
No...Mom! Mom!
That thought was all that was running through Blake Danvers' head while she slept. She couldn't hear the cries of her mother or her sister trying to wake her from her nightmare. Desperately trying to wake her up to save her from herself.
"Blake it's a dream, open your eyes!"
Said a voice that belonged to a female. She swear on her life that she heard her but she sill wouldn't wake up.
"Fury I happening again, she's having a nightmare and her powers are-"
Another female said.
"I got her,"
Someone else replied, a mans voice. She couldn't put names to voices right now, not when she was like this. Trapped in this nightmare.
Mom...mom wake up! Mama!
"BLAKE!"
She opened her eyes with the voice. Tears streaming down her face. She looked at the only person who could've woken her, Nick Fury.
Nick sat on her bedside. Blake's eyes were red and puffy, she had been crying. Fury looked at her with a genuine smile and said.
"Its okay Blake, I'm here, uncle fury's right here,"
Fury said then embraced the young girl. She hugged him back squeezing. She sniffed. "Hey uncle fury, thanks for waking me up," she said.

Blake put on her clothes after a shower. The water trickled down her body bring forth some memories she kept to herself.
"It's gonna be okay...everything's gonna be fine,"
That's what Blake told herself everyday she woke up, whether that was with help or on her own accord. She finished her shower after shampooing and conditioning her hair as well as rinsing it out.
She went to her bedroom to find clothes already picked out for her. A white t-shirt, blue flannel, a pair of light denim washed jeans and black two striped converse.
That was a strange sight to see. It gave her a feeling of uneasiness. She shook off the feeling though and got dressed. It was time for breakfast.
Her sister Maria was making pancakes and Monica, her mother was siting at the table talking to fury about something. Her sister was African American and had the figure of a goddess. Her hair was raven black and showed off her natural curls. Her eyes were a comforting brown that reflected signals of love and compassion for others around her. She was in her late twenties but she refused to leave home on any accounts. Her mother was around the same as her sister. Her hair was some spots of gray darted here and there within her natural curls. Her hair was long and black but still looked natural, even in her late forties. Her eyes were a soft brown and it was like those eyes could tell future events and what was best to do. Blake was pale, had long dirty blond hair that met the middle of her back. Her eyes were a crystal blue that was clear as the waters in the rivers around their house. She stood out like a sore thumb in her family but she knew that they loved her no matter what. She had powers like her other mother Carol Danvers. They were given to her as a last minute resort for...something. Blake couldn't really recount why and she couldn't really make out the words being discussed between her mother and uncle as she walked in the kitchen except a few words.
"Are you sure this is the best option Monica? She's only seventeen," said her Uncle Fury. He was an average built man in around his late sixties.
"I'm positive, this is the best thing that can happen to her, she needs to get away from all of this fury. It's gonna be hard for her but it's for the best," her mother responded.
"For the best? For the best of who?"
Blake thought. Maria had been the first to spot her younger sister.
"Mom, uncle fury that's enough, time to eat," Maria pointed out to the other adults, swaying her head to the side to show them why she had to stop their conversation so abruptly.
"Hey sweetheart," Monica said. She put on a different demeanor than what she just had while she was talking to her Uncle fury. Fury gave her a smile and got up and pulled out her chair to sit down as maria severed the pancakes.
Blake sat down, she smiled back at her uncle, thanking him silently for pulling her chair out for her. She didn't forget about what she heard though, she swore to herself that she'd bring it up later.
Maria served that pancakes, giving each person around two in a stack. "Syrups on the table, both blueberry and regular," she said with a smile before serving herself.
Blake couldn't help but smile as her sister always remembered that she liked her sweets, so fruit syrup was better to her than normal syrup. She took the syrup and poured it onto her pancakes before cutting and taking a piece and simply devouring it.
"Mmm~" Blake hummed in delight. Her uncle, mother and sister laughed. They loved her just the way she is.
Blake was already nearly done with her pancakes before she brought up the grown ups discussion.
"What were you two talking about earlier mom?" Blake asked, her mouth a bit full.
Monica chuckled at her daughter and said. "Don't talk with your mouth full baby, chew your food first," Blake did that then spike the question again. Fury and Monica enchanged glances at one another. Maria joined in as well.
"What's happening? What's with all the staring?" Blake asks. "And on top of that why were my clothes already laid out this morning?"
"I always do that don't I?" Monica replied quickly as if she was hiding something. Blake looked past her mother and saw that a bag was packed. "What's thé bag for mom? We going on a trip?" Blake asks.
"Um well..." Monica trails. "Your coming with me to be an avenger, your of age." Fury said cutting in. Blake's eyes lit up.
An Avenger? Me? Wait...
"What's the catch?" Blake asks. "What do you mean?" Monica asks. "There's always a catch, why now? Why not at 16 like Peter Parker?" Blake asks. "Because your different," fury said. "Am I being classified as a mission uncle fury, I don't need a babysitter," Blake said. "Blake, this has nothing to do with that, it has to do with your mother and you," fury said. "What?" Blake asked.
What was he talking about?
"Your powers Blake, and your health," Monica said. "I'm fine mom," Blake said getting defensive. "Blake, it's okay I miss her too," Monica said. Blake looked away then looked at her uncle.
"When do I start?"

Fury drove Blake to the famous Avengers tower. Blake was slightly in awe at how big it was. She smiled and then it faded. Memories came rushing back, to when she was small. Ones she wanted to forget.
"Mama! Mama, look!" Blake yelled. She was just turning 6 years old. She had a frog in her hands. Carol looked at her and smiled.
"That's very nice Blake, where'd you find it?" She asks.
"A lady gave it to me, she said that she knew you so I trusted her," Blake said.
Carols face drained a bit of color. "Baby, what color was she? This is important, Blake what color was the woman, and what was her name?" Carol asked slightly shaking her daughter.
"Um...Minerva," Blake said.
Carols face lost all color.
"How the hell did they find her? And through her own child, how could they-"
"Hello Mar-Vell," Minerva said. Carol spun around, putting a hand up to protect her daughter.
"Leave her out of this Minerva please, I beg you," Carol said.
Minerva smirked and pounced, having a weapon on her. Carol pushed Blake to the side as she rolled over. She activated her suit via a wristband and her powers started to flow through her viens.
"Oh...in front of the child?" Minerva asked. She scoffed. "This will be a good learning experience for the little one," she grinned. She attacked again.
Carol blocked her making an x with her hands. She kicked and punched and used her powers. They were a bit weak, due to her not using them for so long.
Blake was watching from a corner, hiding where her mother had pushed her out of the way. Minerva seemed to dodge every attack Carol gave at her, powers and all. Then she ran.
Carol scanned the area quickly then went to Blake. "Baby are you okay?" She asks.
"I'm okay mom, but, mom!" Blake yelled, trying to warn her mother but it was too late.
Carol chocked a bit.
"Mama!" Blake yelled.
Carol looked down, she was caught off guard. Her torso was pierced through by something metal, making her blood trickle down lightly onto the ground.
Blake's eyes filled with tears. "No...Mom! Mom!" She screamed. Minerva looked at Blake and smirked. Carol wouldn't let Minerva touch her angel, she grabbed Blake's hand and gave her powers to her. She knew that was what Minerva had come for, her powers to give it back to the Kree.
Minerva scowled. Carol let out a scream and Monica came out as well as fury. Fury just took his gun and shot Minerva dead there and then. Monica ran as fast as she could over to Blake and hugged her.
"M-mama...mama wake up.." Blake said tears rolling down her cheeks. The last thing she saw was her mother's smile then her mother's eyes closed and Blake wailed.
Blake felt herself tearing up. "We're here," fury said. He looked over at his neice. "You'll be okay, you'll be safe here, I promise," he said. Blake only nodded. She got out of the car and grabbed her bag walking with fury.
The rest of the avengers stopped what they were doing and looked at the entrance.
"Team, welcome Mission: Marvel," fury said.
