I woke up feeling refreshed and actually kind of happy! It was a brand new, promising day. Veredie came into my room without knocking which is what she often does.
"So, what is the plan for today?" Veredie said impatiently.
"Well I'm going outside the tree to see what I can discover and I'm taking Safina with me. The rest of you guys can do what you normally do. Ill leave you in charge of making sure that no problems happen.
"Sounds good." Veredie said before leaving my room.
I put on a long, flowy black dress with pants underneath and I grabbed my knife and put it in my weapons holder attached to my leg so that no one could see it. Safina was in green pants and a yellow shirt with her red hair in a tight ponytail. I had a quick breakfast of coffee and an apple before me and Safina crept out of our safe hideout and into the danger. We quickly rushed through the forest and it wasn't long before we came upon one of the aliens.
"What are you two girls doing here?" It asked in the aliens usual deep, angry voice. We knew exactly what to say back to him since we had studied the aliens for such a long time.
"We were assigned the job to plant the hakunasya seeds." I said. Hakunasya's were a special plant from their planet meant to make people more zombie like. We had found a way to keep it from affecting us. We wore a metal belt around our stomachs.
"Well get back to the main gathering now!" he warned us. We quickly rushed off before the alien said anything else.
