"We have to be really quiet, we have to make sure that no one sees us." I whispered to Safina. We crept to the back door of the prison grounds.
"How are we gonna get him out of there?" Safina then asked me.
"Ill go in and act like I'm a prisoner, then I will tell Promises brother to follow me out of the prison grounds. You will wait here to let us back out of the prison grounds." I explained.
"That sounds like a good plan."
I quickly opened the prison grounds door and slithered my way in silently. Then I walked up to Promises brother and told him to follow me.
"Why?" He asked.
"What do you mean why? I'm here to rescue you." I replied, annoyed.
"And why, out of all these people, are you rescuing me?"
"Look, your sister sent me to rescue you."
"My sister! Lead the way!" He said, hopping up.
"Of course now you listen." I smiled. He followed me to the prison grounds door where Safina opened it up and we quickly made our way out of there.
"Ill explain to you what's going on once we get to my base." I told Promises brother. He nodded his head before following us to our tree hideout. Since I didn't fully trust him, I had Safina cover his eyes while I pushed the button that opened the door to our hideout, then we all rushed in as the door shut behind us. As we walked into the main room, Promise shrieked with excitement when she saw her brother.
"Conan, you're here!"
"Yes, I am here. But what is this place?" Conan asked.
"This is our base that we are using to figure out how to defeat the aliens." I explained.
"Neat! But why did you save my sister and I?"
"I don't know, I just felt like I needed to." I smiled.
"So, have you figured out how to defeat the aliens?" Said Conan.
"Not yet, but hopefully we will soon." I sighed. Mike then came into the room and shook Conans hand.
"You must be Promises brother." Mike laughed.
"Yes, that's right. I'm Conan, and you are?"
"My names Mike."
"Its nice to meet you."
"So I'm guessing you and your sister will both be staying here." I smiled.
"I mean, if we go back out there, we're bound to be killed." Conan laughed again.
"Good point, welcome to our hideout then."
"Thanks for umm, saving my life." Conan chuckled.
"Sure, no problem!" Once I showed Conan around, I ate dinner then went to bed.
