PERSONALITY + BACKSTORY
Addison loves making friends, but she also enjoys being alone. She's intelligent but has a whole fucking lot of dumb moments (she basically the walking definition of a dumb lesbian stereotype— only she's panromantic—) She's sarcastic when hanging out with those she trusts or when trying to tell off someone who annoys her. She has some trust issues but warms up to people pretty fast. She can be very intense at times and is very spunky. Addison is usually quiet and somewhat calm in stressful situations, and a lot of people don't even notice she's there, she just... is. But Addison can sure as heck take the lead when she needs too. She is a great leader, but hates doing it. She doesn't like admitting this, but being the person everyone looks to for help in dangerous situations terrifies her. Addison can be very reckless and always acts in the moment. Addison loves reading and nature, and being in quiet places. She spends a lot of time outside and in the library, mostly researching the Cursed Vaults but also reading muggle horror books. Her favorite types of books are horror and murder mysteries. Creepy stuff doesn't really bother her; she actually finds it quite fascinating. Addison loves pastries, and I mean LOVES them. Donuts are da best though, she eats them all the time (because her father has no control over her— or her sister, for that matter— and doesn't have many rules... other than get good grades because he's a muggle professor). Addison adores cats and has one of her own, a male calico named Bumble (because he's a bum). Bumble is best described as a cross between a pygmy puff, a lynx, and a furry alien thing. Seriously, that cat is freaky, but hey, Addison loves freaky, so she loves Bumble. Addie tends to adopt things a lot— random animals, cats, people— if she thinks they're really fucking adorable. She'll just adopt you without warning. And that's it. You're in her life forever, there's no turning back now, guys. Addison is probably the most sarcastic Ravenclaw ever. She gets detention for what comes out of her mouth at least once a day (the Callahan sister's are well known for their sarcasm and you'll almost always find the both of them in detention), but— perks of having a father as a professor— she gets out of it a lot. There is no amount of words to describe how sarcastic Addison is, nor her spunk. She hates it when people break their promises. Addison is always true to her word and never lets people down. She's actually a lot more like her sister, Am Callahan , than she thinks she is/wants to believe. She's a lot less salty and emo than her sister is, though, that's for sure. Addison is loyal, Golden-hearted, smooth AF, somehow sweet, very good at lying, SUPER sly, a tad sassy, and a through and through badass. Seriously. Addison got bored when she was ten and a half ish so she stared working out everyday. She still does and she's slowly getting ripped af despite her small frame, and how short she is. Being adopted, Addie has some abandonment issues and fears death. Don't get me wrong, Addison adores her adoptive family, she just... she remembers every little detail of her birth mother, but everything else about her life before the age of six is one big blur. However, Addison does remember one particular event from when she was three and a half: her mother's death. When she found out what her boggart was.... let's just say she didn't take it lightly. When Addison was six, that was when her father, Oscar, adopted her. Addison loves her dad and she loves her older sister even more. She would never admit this, but they shaped her into the person she is today and she probably wouldn't even be here today if they hadn't adopted her when they did. Even though Addison and Am fight literally all the time, they couldn't be more inseparable... however, Am changed drastically after her first year at Hogwarts. She got sorted into Slytherin and her life came crashing down. She became distant, salty, and very quiet. It wasn't until Am met Tegwynn Roberts halfway through her first year that she began to become her old self again, more or less. Addison might never really understand Am and what happened to her after the Sorting, but she does know that whatever it is changed her, and Addison is very scared for when she's going to be sorted. Am discovered a few months after befriending Tegwynn (for real; when they first met they had a bet of sorts... it's a long story) that they lived right next door to them. The Callahan 's had only moved in a few months before Am started at Hogwarts. That summer was when Addison met Ethan Roberts. Addison may have been young, but she knew she was "in love" with Ethan (it was more of an admirable crush). Addison saw him a lot because Tegwynn and him were practically always together, even despite their age difference of three years, and Tegwynn came over to Am's house everyday, or vice versa. It wasn't until Addison was nine that she finally started hanging out with Ethan. He was very nice and kind. Addison couldn't help but like him. He told her about the Cursed Vaults and his obsession with them (which Tegwynn teased him about a lot; Ethan always retorted her teasing by mentioning her obsession with a certain author), and eventually Addison got hooked too. What Addison didn't know, however, was how Ethan knew about them, until it was too late. They had just gotten really close when Ethan disappeared. Ever since his disappearance, Addison has become more obsessed than ever with the Cursed Vaults of Hogwarts. But she's even more obsessed with finding Ethan. No, not obsessed— determined. Ethan's disappearance had a big effect on Ethan's family (and his few friends), but it hit Tegwynn hard. Seeing her sister's best friend, who had actually become her friend as well, so sad and lost, struck something in Addison. She had to find him. To had to find Ethan and make things right, even if he didn't want to be found, she would find him. Addison doesn't believe for a second that Ethan left on purpose. No, he would never to that to them, to Tegwynn. Ethan May have been a bit of a loner but he wasn't heartless. He loved his family. He wouldn't leave them. No, this has to be because of the Cursed Vaults. It makes sense. And when Tegwynn gives Addison an old journal that once belonged to Ethan, a journal that reveals more about his investigations and time at Hogwarts than Addison can believe, she knows that when she arrives at Hogwarts, nothing and no one will be able to stop her from finding him,

KNOWLEDGE OF THE CURSED VAULTS
Addison's knowledge of the Cursed Vaults is from the research she did the summer before Ethan disappeared as well as an old journal of Ethan's. However, the journal is blank.

HAVE THEY HEARD OF/DO THEY KNOW ETHAN ROBERTS?
Ethan Roberts was Addison's next door neighbor, and actually her first crush. They were good friends, (Ethan's only friend outside of his sister, actually) enough that he told her (and only her) about the Cursed Vaults. He wouldn't let Addison help him, but she did some sleuthing of her own. When he disappeared, it changed Addison drastically. With the start of her first year at Hogwarts, she decides to take things into her own hands and find Ethan, using the last thing she has left of him: his old journal, which Tegwynn lent to her. Addison met Ethan through her older sister, Am, who is actually Tegwynn's (Ethan's little sister's) best friend.

ROMANCE?*
At the moment, Addison is too busy trying to find the Cursed Vaults and Ethan to think about romance (even though the whole reason she is looking for the Vaults is because of Ethan, who she has a crush on), but the closer she gets to finding Ethan, the more her feelings for him change , and the more she begins to realize how silly this all is— "this" being her crush on Ethan— and that her search for the Cursed Vaults goes far beyond just trying to find her friend. And just because she's trying to solve a mystery doesn't mean that she doesn't want romance, or hasn't had romantic feelings before, it's just kind of hard to think about dating when you're constantly running from cursed ice, boggarts, and self-proclaimed arch enemies. But if he Toft person comes along, maybe Addison will consider romance again...

DO THEY GET CRUSHES EASILY?
Heck to the yes. Addison is attracted to all kinds of people, and even if she hates them, she will ramble on about how attractive they are. One time, she kept complimenting a guy while they were beating each other up! When Addison likes someone, she would definitely be the one to make the first move, and let it be known how she feels about them. Addison flirts with people 99.9% of the time (starting in her fourth year) and is merciless when it comes to teasing her friends about their crushes.

Oh, ho ho— love is a STRONG word, my friend. The last time Addison was in "love,"he disappeared. Ethan Roberts is a great example (and the reason) of why Addison's crushes are never more than... well, a crush! She's afraid if she admits to herself, or to the person themself, that she loves them, they'll disappear, just like Ethan did. Yes, Addison has been in love before (with Ethan, actually), but she's afraid to fall "in love" again... as she gets older this will probably change, as she was ten when she "fell in love" with Ethan, but the fear of losing someone she loves with still be a big part of Addison, and that might never go away. This has a big affect on her personality and relationships, but once the right person comes along, and the closer she gets to finding Ethan, Addison may get over this fear once and for all.
