Filming for season 6 has begun!

And along with that, comes a sense of doom in the fandom, because rumours start, false filming spoilers are spread, but even worse that fake filming spoilers: real ones.

Like July 13th's spoilers. But we'll get to that.

So for the past week, they've actually been doing quite a bit of outdoor filming, which usually doesn't start until late July, but I'm not complaining. (Usually they do studio scenes until around the 25th)

So from July 7th until the 12th, the scenes didn't look too interesting, just the main cast filming with a few guest starts, not much action.

And then July 13th happened. It was a late-night scene and here's what happened: It involved Emma, Henry, David, and Killian, as well as a dark hooded figure. Set reports say that it looked like Emma got into a sword fight with it as the other three look on. At some point, she basically got stabbed. I've included pictures from the other night attached to this chapter.

People that were on set said they heard someone (either David or Killian) yell "NO!" And Henry yelled "MOM!". Killian hugs Henry to prevent him from seeing Emma on the ground.

Obviously everyone is freaking tf out, but I don't think it's real.

I think it's either a dream or a vision. I think there's two ways this could go down.

My first theory upon hearing the spoilers was that it's a dream. With everything going on with Jekyll and Hyde, it could be that Emma is dreaming and seeing her "two different sides" so to speak. In this case, I'm almost positive the person in the dark cloak is Dark Swan. The dream would be making her face her dark sides and see that even though she's the Saviour (The Saviour it the title of episode one, even further proof that this could be what happening) she still has a dark side to her, much like Regina does, and much like Jekyll and Hyde. I think that each character is going to deal with this over the season. They're going to, in some way, have to deal with their dark and light sides, and choose which one they truly are.

My second theory can kind of go two ways. I think it's a vision, but I'm torn between these two ways that it could be.

The first way is similar to how David had to fight a version of himself in 3x14. If you remember, in an attempt to get a symbol of David's courage for her spell, Zelena put a root in his drink that made him face his fear, which was himself. David defeated this vision (one that, much like the one in the spoilers, was cloaked). So that is a possibility. It's real, but can't actually hurt Emma, just show her that her struggle with the darkness is still very real.

The second way I think this could go is that it's a flash-forward. What I mean by this is maybe 6x01 ends with that scene, but it's a flash-forward to what everything in the season leads up to. Like one of those "six weeks later" things that they did in season 5, where everything is fine in the present, but shit goes down in the future. Maybe we won't find out what happens to Emma until the arc is over...

The conclusion you should pull from both of these theories is that there is no way they are going to kill the main character of the show in the first episode of what is possibly the last season. They just got out of the underworld, and I assume that's where they're going to leave the angst and unnecessary deaths. Don't worry about Emma, they aren't going to kill the main character.
