Alright everyone! After so long (years to be precise) another chapter of Missing Mate is finally here. Apologies to those that had been waiting a long time for this but due to a few things that happened I had limited activities on Wattpad and I had issues of writers block every so often.

But now I'm going to do my best to finish this book and more. As a quick warning before beginning the chapter, this one turned out to be much longer than I had anticipated and so this might be a long chapter and I have also tried to write this using a few different ideas for changing the style of the chapters. With that enjoy the chapter

"This battle will decided what is the truth." Katashi said, placing his deck on the table.

"We'll see about that." Izo said as he did the same, determined to win the battle.

As both fighters were ready, they each turned their starters face up as they stared down each other with great intensity.

"Stand up, vanguard!" Both fighters exclaimed at the same time, their starters being enveloped in their respective colors.

Two pillars of light formed behind the fighters as after a couple of moments, the lights began to fade as two figures appeared behind respective fighters.

"Ascendant Lancer Dragon, Druin! (5000)" Izo said as he revealed his starter.

The glowing figure took the form of a brown and red dragon, a small flag-staff of the Lancer Dragon army in one hand and a small triangle-shaped sword in the other.

"Transcendence Ice Fairy, Jack Frost. (5000)" Katashi said as he revealed his starter.

The other glowing figure had taken the form of a small white humanoid creature with a black large smile, wearing a blue hat with 2 long ears, a pointed pattern neck cloth to match his hat and blue boots.

'For the sake of everyone involved, I cannot lose this fight' Katashi thought in his mind.

'This time things will be different. I will win' Izo thought in his mind as he placed his hand on his deck "I'll start things off, I draw" Izo continued as he looked to his hand.

"I ride Swift Lancer Dragon, Klaus (7000)!" Izo said as he placed a card from his hand over Druin. "With the forerunner skill, Druin moves back" he continued as he moves Druin's card back behind Klaus's card.

The small dragon glowed and grew, changing to be about the same size as Izo. The dragon retained the same color scheme as Druin, with a slight hint of yellow on its arms and head, a flaming circle floating behind his back and the flag-staff and sword was replaced by a slim silver lance.

"With that I end my turn" Izo stated as he looked to Katashi as he was about to draw his card, preparing for his inevitable assault.

"It's my turn, I draw." Katashi said, drawing a card from his deck and adding it to his hand before taking another from it, " And I ride Transcendence Rider, Castor! (7000)" he continued as he placed a card over his vanguard "With his skill, Jack Frost moves" he said as he moved Jack Frost's card behind Castor's card

The small white humanoid had began to grow as changing to become a blonde haired boy wearing black armour similar to Polydeuces, holding a black lance and riding a black stallion

"With Castor's ability I soul charge 2 cards" he explained as he took two cards from his deck placing them in the soul revealing Transcendence Beast, Chimera and Transcendence Jester, Loki "Next I call Transcendence String of Fate, Clotho to rearguard (7000)." he continued as he placed another card from his hand to the front-left rearguard circle

A second pillar of light formed as a woman wearing a white cotton outfit with a black dress at the bottom with green hair and wearing black gloves, holding a string of light on both hands, landing on a group of clouds next Castor's left-hand side.

"This is the same type of strategy as last time...don't expect me to be defeated in the same way." Izo declared, narrowing his eyes at Katashi.

"I believe you'll be surprised in the end" Katashi countered, as he prepared to attack, resting Clotho. "Clotho will attack the vanguard (7000)" as Katashi continued saying, declaring his attack.

Izo briefly observed his cards before declaring, "No guard." His hand moved to his deck to reveal his damage as it was a copy of Lancer Dragon of Broad Shield.

As commanded, Clotho controls the string of light as it wraps around Klaus. Once entangled, she summons a pillar of light energy on Klaus, causing the dragon to roar in pain.

"Now with a boost from Jack Frost, Castor will attack your vanguard (12000)" Katashi interjected as he wasted no time to continue his assault

"I guard with Lancer Dragon Tactic Master!(17000)" Izo declared, throwing down the card in front of his vanguard.

Before Castor began his attacked,an elderly crossed-legged dragon appeared, this time a deep crimson and blood orange in color with a book as opposed to a lance for a weapon. The dragon opened a book, erecting a magic barrier around the two dragons.

"Drive check" Katashi continued as he placed his hand on his deck flipping the top card over to reveal Transcendence Champion, Thor "No trigger here" he says as he placed the revealed card into his hand

'There it is...the card that had beaten me last time...this time, I will win!' Izo declared to himself mentally, a small smile of confidence spreading over his lips as a result.

'Looking at his impression, he's much more prepared for Thor this time. Luckily he hasn't seen Izanagi yet' Katashi thought while looking at Izanagi's card. "I end my turn" he said aloud as he waited for Izo to make his move.

"Alright it's my turn. I stand and draw." Izo started as he placed his hand on his deck, drawing the top card "Take flight, my avatar! I ride Lancer Dragon Commander, Curion! (9000)" he exclaimed as he slammed a card from his hand onto the vanguard circle.

Klaus roared out and the pillar of light turned into one of fire. Klaus more than doubled in size and two large armored wings shoot out of the pillar, blowing the fire away along with some of the clouds that were in the prison to reveal the black and red form underneath, a tattered red cape flowing off their back with armor covering their body. With a swing of his sword-like, the dragon roared before landing behind Izo.

"Let's hope your so-called avatar can help turn the tide of battle this time." said Katashi while looking at Curion.

"Oh trust me, he'll help me beat you." Izo responded as he placed his hand on his cards, turning them to attack. "With a boost from Druin, I attack the vanguard! (14000)"

Katashi had taken a moment to look to his hand before turning his gaze back to Izo. "Bring it, I won't guard it." he replied.

"Drive check" Izo said as he placed his hand on the deck flipping the top card to reveal a trigger, Lightning Crash Lancer Dragon, Vion. "Critical trigger! I give all the effects to my vanguard (14000>19000|*1>*2)" he said after placing the revealed card into his hand

The dragon took off, striking down the humanoid with two strikes of the sword-lance before returning to his original position.

"Damage Check, First Card" Katashi says while flipping the top card of his deck revealing a copy of Transcendence Jester, Loki "No trigger, then the second check" he continued while flipping the next card of his deck revealing a trigger this time. "A draw trigger, the power goes to my vanguard and I draw one card" he explained as he drew the top card of his deck.

"With that my turn ends" Izo declares as Katashi follows up by preparing for his turn

"I stand and draw." Katashi said putting a card from his deck to his hand "And I ride Transcendence Deity of the World's End, Izanami-no-Kami (9000)"

A white Light envelopes Castor and there appeared women wearing a long white robe with 2 red streams, a black cross face mask and a long black veil with white X's slowly floating down behind Katashi landing on the clouds below.

"Seems we both got new cards..." Izo mumbled to himself, waiting for Katashi to continue his turn.

"Clotho moves back and I call Transcendence Messenger, Hermes (9000)," Katashi Continues

A man with a brown robe with large gold wing like armour on its hands, with stick like legs and wearing a gold helmet with wings on the left and right side appeared in front of Clotho.

"With Hermes's Ability, I soul charge another 2 cards." Katashi explained while putting 2 cards from the top of his deck into his vanguard's soul revealing to be Transcendence Musician, Apollo and Transcendence Champion, Thor.

"With a boost from Clotho, Hermes attacks Curion (16000)" Katashi stated while resting the 2 cards.

Izo glanced briefly at his card before looking back up,"I don't guard."

Hermes began his attack on Curion by beginning to fly at lightning fast speed at him piercing Curion with his wing during the process.

"Damage check" Izo said as he placed his hand on his deck again flipping the top card to reveal Wise Lancer Dragon, Zeon "No trigger" he said.

"With a boost from Jack Frost, Izanami attacks Curion (14000)" Katashi stated while resting the other 2 cards.

"No guard." Izo replied, putting his hand over his deck in preparation for the damage he would take.

"Drive Trigger Check" Katashi said while flipping the top card of his deck. "No trigger(Transcendence Goddess of Luck, Fortuna)" Katashi continued while putting the revealed card into his hand.

Izanami faced her palm towards Curion, the kanji for destroy appearing on it before firing off a dark fire ball at Curion, hitting him and creating a large explosion.

"Damage check" Izo said as he once again flipped over the top card of his deck to reveal Lancer Dragon Leader, Orsen, "No trigger there." He finished placing the card in the damage zone before turning back to Katashi.

"That will end my turn for now" Katashi stated as he looked at his hand again to get a grasp of the current situation as Izo would prepare his assault

"I stand and I draw" Izo states as he draws a card from his deck placing it in his hand as he then raised one of them to the sky. "With your smoldering soul and burning pride, join me in this fight for the future! Ride! Lancer Dragon Rider, Count Orsen! (11000)"

Once again, the fiery pillar emerged and consumed Curion and, in an arrival similar to that of Phantom Blaster Dragon, a long double-sided lance appeared from the ground and a clawed hand grabbed it from the ground before swinging it, blowing away the fire to reveal the dragon behind it. This one was the same size as Curion but it had four armored wings and had four horns on its head, it's armor scorched and scratched up from countless battles. Once revealed, the dragon roared defiantly before glaring down at the goddess.

"Are you seriously trying to Intimidate me by showing your new units?" Katashi asked.

"I'm not one for intimidation. Actions speak louder than words, after all." Izo retorted.

"Say it as you may, but you're not winning this" Katashi countered.

"Heh, we'll just see about that. I call Silent Lancer Dragon, Blairen (9000) and Spying Lancer Dragon, Verdun (7000)." Izo said with a grin as he called the units to the field.

To the right of Orsen appeared a shorter, more slender black and violet dragon with blue eyes, her wings covering most of her body like a cloak with her longer lance-sword against her back. And behind her appeared a more hunched-over dull grey dragon with a bag of scrolls and other papers on its back, using his shorter lance like a cane.

"With support from Verdun, Blairen attacks Izanami! (16000)" Izo turned the cards before looking back up at Katashi.

"I guard with Apsara" Katashi countered.

The slender black dragon launched herself at the goddess, slashing at her with her claw but a blue haired woman wearing a white dress and wearing a veil appeared, blocking the strike before disappearing.

"Orsen takes flight against Izanami with Druin's support! (16000)" Izo declared.

Orsen roared, his lance bursting into flames as he took flight.

"No guard" Katashi declared.

"Twin drive check. First. (Wise Lancer Dragon, Zeon) Second card.(Lancer Dragon of Broad Shield)"

The dragon spun in the air before throwing the flaming lance at Izanami, causing the goddess to scream in pain from the strike.

"Damage trigger check.(Transcendence Musician, Apollo) No trigger" Katashi finished, placing the card in the damage zone as the dragon returned to Izo's side.

"That'll end my turn." Izo declared, confident in his strategy.

"It's my turn, I stand and draw" Katashi states as he draws a card from his deck placing it to his hand as he picks out a different card and raises it to the sky. "Proud noble champion, may his mighty hammer crush through anything in his path, I ride Transcendence Champion, Thor! (11000)"

A white Light envelopes Izanami and before the light could fade sparks fly as lightning bolts come out from the light and a hammer seems to cut through the light as it reveals a man with long black hair wearing a gold helmet, a gold spartan undershirt, a white cloak, white boots and wielding a golden war hammer.

Izo seeing the unit that had just appeared onto the field had his mind wander to their previous fight as he remembered what the unit would allow for Katashi to do. 'Things will not turn out as they did last time' he thought as he glanced down to his hand.

"I activate Thor's Ability by Soul Blasting 3 cards(Transcendence Beast, Chimera, Transcendence Musician, Apollo, and Transcendence Jester, Loki)" Katashi declared. " I superior call Transcendence String of Fate, Clotho from the deck (7000) and with my other Clotho's ability, she gains 3000 power (10000)" he continued as he took a copy of Clotho from the deck placing it on a rearguard circle.

A pillar of light erupted from the ground as it would soon fade to reveal a women wearing a white cotton outfit with a black dress at the bottom with green hair and wearing black gloves.

"Four cards...here it comes then..."Izo mumbled to himself as the goddess appeared.

"One brother chooses the path of nobility, while the other takes the path of the fool, Seek mate!" he announced as 4 cards flew out of player's drop zone and returned to the deck then a light surrounded his deck and scanned through it, then a card flew out from the deck. "Destroying the difference and fighting together, Transcendence Jester, Loki, Legion!"

Another pillar of light forms beside the armoured male as once the light faded standing by his side stood a man with long blond hair, wearing a full-body purple suit, green skin and has two wings, one purple raised in the air and one with a green top near the ground.

"Jack Frost's ability activates, I send him to the soul and soul charge another 3 cards (Izanami, Thor, Gryphon) and superior call Transcendence goddess of Good Luck, Fortuna and now with Thor's Legion skill he gets one critical and a new ability."Katashi explains, "Then I'll use Fortuna's ability to Soul Blast 2 (Thor and Castor) to draw a card and by calling her from my deck, my Clothos power up (13000) (10000) and lastly I call Fortuna from my hand."

The little white demon had vanished leaving a gust of ice as a light was created from it and would reveal a blue haired girl wearing a jade robe, a golden headpiece and holding a scale in one hand with a scroll that had been tattered with age in the other hand and not long after she arrived a light would form as another flash of light appeared as a second one would appear wearing a sapphire coloured robe.

"He wants to end this as quickly as possible, eh...I'll just have to show him that I'm not the same as before." Izo declared to himself, looking back up at Katashi.

'He looks prepared, Looks like I can't end it this turn' Katashi thought to himself.

"With a boost from Clotho, Fortuna attacks Orsen (17000)" Katashi Declared.

"No guard. Damage check.(Medical Lancer Dragon, Valeria-Heal) Heal trigger! Power to the vanguard and I recover one damage." Izo placed the trigger in the damage before moving Zeon to the drop zone.

The women in the sapphire robe had looked to her scale as it tipped to one side and from that she held it up as a beam fired from it but after it was struck, a green aura surrounded Orsen and a green female dragon with a small lance at her side gave the larger dragon a thumbs-up before disappearing.

"Boosted by Fortuna, Thor and Loki, Legion attack! (27000)" Katashi continued as he pressed on the attacks.

"I nullify that with Broadshield!" The teen retorted, placing down the card and discarding a copy of Valeria from his hand.

"Now for the twin drive (Supreme Transcendence Deity of the World's Beginning, Izanagi-No-Okami - No Trigger, Transcendence Goddess of Agriculture, Demeter - Draw Trigger) a draw trigger, adding power to Hermes and I draw" Katashi revealed, drawing a card from the top of his deck

The two blonde haired males charged the larger heavily armoured one reading his hammer as the other one held a sphere made of dark magic charging towards the dragon but a brown dragon wearing heavily enforced stone armour, a lance in one hand being covered with metal and in the other a large oval shaped shield jumped in front of the two, making a barrier that blocked the two from striking Orsen.

"With a boost from Clotho, Hermes attacks Orsen (27000)" Katashi Declared.

"I won't guard. Damage check.(Loyalty Lancer Dragon, Curion-No trigger)" Izo revealed as he placed the card into the damage zone

The male with a brown robe with large gold wing like armour on its hands, had risen into the air using its metal wings and as it reach high enough it quickly descended slashing the dragon with his wings as he did causing the dragon to roar as the male returned to his original position.

"I'll end the turn here" Katashi finished saying.

Izo had analyzed the situation as he looked to his hand and the field as he thought about how to approach this turn. "I stand and draw" he said as he drew the top card of his deck

Izo after drawing the card looked at it and finalised his plan for the turn as he placed a hand over Orsen's card.

"Duty...courage...honour...this dragon has that by the billions, Seek Mate!" he announced as 4 cards flew out of player's drop zone and returned to the deck then a light surrounded his deck and scanned through it, then a card flew out from the deck.

"Slash and pierce through the hearts of evil, proud dragon, rise up from the ashes, Lancer Dragon Commander, Curion, Legion!"

A pillar of fire burst out from the ground as the larger red dragon roared and a tattered red cape flowing off their back with armor covering their body. With a swing of his sword-like, the dragon roared emerging from the flames beside the larger dragon as it landed the heat from the two dragons causing the clouds below them to stay a red hue.

Katashi looked to the pair as Izo's newest legion appeared on the field. "This is the strength you intend to use to win?" he mumbled to himself only to be interrupted as Izo would continue his turn

"I call Loyalty Lancer Dragon, Curion (9000)" he declared as Izo placed the card on the over Blairen as he places Blairen in the drop zone "Next I use his effect, when placed on the field I counter blast to soul charge 1 (Wise Lancer Dragon, Zeon) and then I superior call Lancer Dragon Commander, Curion (9000). Then with my new Curion's effect I counter blast and retire Druin to soul charge 1 (Lancer Dragon Tactic Master) and then I superior call Swift Lancer Dragon, Klaus (7000)" he announced as he quickly moved cards between his field, soul and drop zone setting up his field

The slender black and violet dragon disappeared as in its place a white and yellow dragon with armour holding a large buster sword with jewels appeared and it roared proudly as a second yellow and white dragon appeared as this one was holding a flag waving it proudly and as the flag waved through the air a green teen sized dragon wearing titanium arm and leg guards armed with two green lances one in each hand flew in from the sky and roared loudly prepared for battle.

Katashi had been impressed by the situation but knew that it wasn't over yet as Izo continued. "Then with Curion being called from the soul I get to superior call Wise Lancer Dragon, Zeon (7000)" he explained as he moved Zeon out of the soul behind his vanguard

A lanky red dragon wearing chainmail armor carrying a lance thinner than that of the other dragons flew onto the field roaring proudly in a battle stance.

"You're doing well to use your cards after using legion" Katashi commented however Izo wasted no time to continue his turn "I use the effect of Count Orsen" Izo said as Katashi would brace himself for what was about to happen

"When I call a unit I can counter blast and soul blast 1 to add 5000 power to them and since I called Commander Curion they both get 1 critical and you can't guard with grade 1 or higher units when they attack" he explained as it caught Katashi off guard as he looked to his hand

"I'll follow that up with Druin's effect allowing me to move him into soul to soul charge 2 cards and since I have 3 Lancer Dragon's on the field I counter charge 1 (Lancer Dragon Ruler, Count Orsen, Lancer Dragon Commander, Curion)" he continued as he prepared to attack

Tension was in the air as Katashi looked to his hand and after a few moments knew what he had to do as he looked forward to Izo who was determined.

"Alright now with a boost from Verdun, Loyalty Lancer Dragon, Curion attacks your vanguard! With his skill since I have a Lancer Dragon vanguard he gets 3000 power! (19000)" he declared as he rested the cards

"I guard with Gryphon (21000)" Katashi countered as he placed the card on the guardian circle

"Now with a boost from Zeon, Count Orsen, Commander Curion, Legion attack! (26000/2)" Izo declared

After a few moments of debating Katashi quickly made his decision as he looked to Izo. "I won't guard that" he said aware that if a critical trigger would appear in the twin drive only a heal trigger could help him

"Time for my twin drive (Spying Lancer Dragon, Verdun - No Trigger, Medical Lancer Dragon, Valeria - Heal Trigger) a heal trigger. I give the power to Commander Curion and recover 1 damage" Izo revealed as he took Valeria from his damage zone placing it in the drop zone

The red and yellow dragon had roared loudly causing a sound wave as the wave slammed into the armoured brothers and while they were phased the yellow dragon charged in with his flag and slashed at the two males knocking them to the ground.

"Damage check (Transcendence Messenger, Hermes - No Trigger, Transcendence Beast, Gryphon - Critical Trigger) a critical trigger. I give all effects to the vanguard" he explained placing the cards into the damage zone

"Now with a boost from Klaus, Commander Curion attacks! His skill is the same as the other Curion so he gets 3000 power! (24000)" he declared

"I guard with Demeter and Intercept with Hermes (26000)" Katashi countered placing the two draw triggers into the guardian circle then moving them to the drop zone

"That will end my turn" Izo decided but wasn't fazed by the situation

Izo hearing that Katashi planned to end the game on this turn had prepared himself to defend whatever he may throw at him knowing he couldn't be reckless with an opponent like him.

"It's about time I show my trump card" Katashi says while he holds his card to the sky while the energy from the prison swirls around his arm, "He signifies the beginning of the world, he signifies the truth that are covered in lies, if I have faith I'll make the new world, I ride my avatar of truth Supreme Transcendence Deity of the World's Beginning, Izanagi-No-Okami" he announced as he placed the card over Thor and Loki

The golden haired warrior would begin to be lifted into the air by the same swirling energy that was around the card earlier as a light burst out from around his body as it would be blinding and moments later light would be cut by an tri-bladed inquisitor as a man wearing a long white and red inside jacket held together at the top with 2 locks, wearing a gold helmet with a gold V shape at the top and a black visor, armoured legs appeared.

Izo would look up to the deity like unit that had appeared in front of him and all he could do was grin as he was interested by the challenge that appeared before him. "So this was the unit you were hiding" he said having a feeling that during the match he was holding back his ace

"You asked for the for the truth and I revealed it" Katashi says. "This is your last chance to back down, I don't want to have to hurt you again."

Izo shakes his head as he looks to Katashi with a serious expression. "I can't afford to lose this fight. For Kin's sake and for Kurai's I will win this fight" he said through the progression of this fight having a better idea of why Kurai did what he did, understanding his true intentions

Katashi closed his eyes and smiled gently "I see, with that look in your eyes it seems like you see the full picture" He then opened his eyes and said with a serious expression, " No matter what I won't lose either"

Izo even with that wouldn't back down as he knew that not only were his memories on the line but his pride as a cardfighter wouldn't allow him to back down when presented with a challenge that Katashi offered. "We shall see" he simply said with a grin

"I use Izanagi's ability" Katashi declared "I soul blast a grade 0 from my soul to soul charge another three cards" (Transcendence Beast, Chimera, Transcendence Goddess of War Strategy, Athena, Transcendence Spirit, Apsara)

" I call Transcendence Rider, Castor and I use his ability to soul charge another two cards" Katashi declared. (Transcendence Champion, Thor, Supreme Transcendence Deity of the World's Beginning, Izanagi-no-Okami)

A blond haired boy wearing black armour similar to Polydeusus, holding a black lance and riding a black stallion rode into battle descending from the sky and created two orbs of light as they flew towards Izanagi and went into his body.

Katashi held his hand of Katashi to say his chant. "Uncovering the truth behind it all, but a truth is nothing without a lie, Seek Mate!" he announced as 4 cards flew out of his drop zone and returned to the deck then a light surrounded his deck and scanned through it, then a card flew out from the deck.

"The one who creates and the one who destroys, none will exist without each other, Transcendence Deity of the World's End, Izanami-No-Kami, Legion!"

A woman wearing a long white robe with 2 red streams, a black cross face mask and a long black veil with white X's seemed to be floating down slowly from the heavens as Izanagi held out his hand to help her descend.

Izo looked to the duo seeing how they were and knew that a big move was about to happen knowing what would happen would be hard to defend but was confident he could pull through. "Time to see what your ace can do" he said not showing any doubts in his resolve

"First I'll call Apollo over Fortuna (9000)" Katashi declared.

The women with the blue robe had vanished as a white haired man, wearing a white robe while playing a harp descended from the heavens landing on the battlefield.

"I'll finish it here" Katashi continued "Apollo attacks your Loyalty Curion (9000)"

"I won't guard that" Izo decided as he placed Curion in the drop zone

The man in the white robe had played a tune with his harp as notes of light surrounded the white and yellow dragon as it roared trying to break the notes but as it did the notes detonated causing the dragon to turn to dust.

"With a boost from Clotho, Castor attacks your vanguard (14000)" Katashi declared.

"I guard that with Verdun (16000)" Izo countered as he placed the card from his hand to the guardian circle.

"With a boost from Fortuna, Izanagi, Izanami Legion attack (27000)" Katashi declared. "And I use Izanagi's ability, Persona Blast" He declared while he places a copy of Izanagi into the drop zone.

As Katashi had discarded a copy of his Izanagi he knew that what skill was about to be used would be big but he stood his ground as Izanagi spins his inquisitor around to make a circle of light, from the circle of light 3 units emerged.

"I superior call Transcendence Musician, Apollo (9000), Transcendence Mother, Hariti (7000), and Transcendence Jester Loki (9000) from the deck" Katashi explained. "They also get 3000 power for this turn (12000) (12000) (10000) and Izanagi gets one critical"

Three pillar of light would break through the sky and shine on the ground as a women wearing a long dark pink robe and holding a brown baby basket, a man with long blond hair, wearing a full-body purple suit, green skin and has two wings one purple raised in the air and one with a green top near the ground appeared letting out a chuckle and a white haired man, wearing a white robe while playing a harp cut through the light.

Izo seeing what had come from the persona blast for Izanagi's skill it would catch him off guard. "That skill is definitely nothing to laugh at" he said but he knew that he couldn't back down as he assessed the situation

"I'm not done" Katashi continued, "Apollo and Hariti's abilities activate, by soul blasting 3 cards they get 10000 power and with Clotho's ability she gets an additional 9000 power (21000) (20000) (16000) "

Izo seeing the units on Katashi's field getting stronger he could see that things played out as he thought knowing from last time how much Transcendence used the soul to increase their units power and knew what his best choice was for the situation. "I don't guard" he decided

"Twin Drive check, the first (Transcendence Mother Hariti), second check, (Transcendence Messenger Hermes), no triggers" Katashi checked. "Go Izanagi, Izanami, Myriad Arrows" Katashi yelled,

Izanami spins his inquisitor one last time to make another circle of light with Izanami in the middle of it, aiming at the Dragons, then Izanami raised her hand towards them and arrows of light started to rain down on the dragons while Izanagi charges for one last finishing slash from his inquisitor.

"Damage check the first (Lancer Dragon Tactic Master - Stand Trigger) a stand trigger, power goes to Orsen and I stand Curion, the second (Sparking Lancer Dragon, Milliun - Critical Trigger) a critical trigger, I give my vanguard 5000 power" Izo revealed as he placed the two revealed cards into the damage zone

"With a boost from Hariti, Apollo attacks Orsen one last time (42000)" Katashi declared.

"I guard with Vion, Valeria and Zeon (46000)" Izo countered as he placed the three cards in his hand to the guardian circle leaving him with no cards left in his hand

"It's over, with a boost from Clotho, Loki ends it (28000)" Katashi declares

Izo even with it seeming like the end he still had a look that showed it wasn't over yet. "I don't guard" he decided

Loki concentrated an ice spell on both of his hands and fired it at Orsen,

"Damage check.." Izo said as he paused for a moment before closing his eyes before opening them looking to Katashi "This isn't over yet" he said as he revealed the card to show Medical Lancer Dragon, Valeria "A heal trigger, I recover one damage and add 5000 power to my vanguard" he said grinning

"That's the first time anybody has gotten through that combo attack" Katashi said in disbelief

"Like I said, I won't let things end so easily. My pride as a fighter won't allow me to give in until the very end" Izo said in response to Katashi's disbelief

"Then show me what you're made of" Katashi said 'Those eyes are like Kurai's when he decided to do this' Katashi thought thinking back to the day Kurai had asked him to become Cinque Defender "I end my turn" Katashi declared

"It's time to put things to an end. I stand and I draw" Izo said as he looked to the card he drew into his hand with a grin as he looked to Katashi "And we can go forward to help Kurai" he said

As Katashi would hear the last part of what Izo said it was clear to him that Izo had worked out what the situation with Kurai was as he smiled a bit with his eyes closed. "So you found the truth" he said

Izo rather than continuing on with a speech he would rest Curion. "Commander Curion will attack your vanguard, with his skill he gets 3000 power for the attack (12000)" Izo declared

"I intercept with Apollo (16000)" Katashi countered

"Now with a boost from Zeon, Orsen. Curion. Legion Attack! (27000)" Izo declared as Katashi would begin to consider the options before Izo cut off his train of thought "I use Orsen's skill, I retire Commander Curion on my rearguard and superior call a second Commander Curion (9000)" he added

As the two dragons would charge in to attack the deity like beings they roared loudly as a pillar of fire surrounded the dragon with darkened yellow scales with a white underbelly and dark rings around its eyes as it disappeared and in its place another one had risen from the ashes and roared out loudly ready for battle as it waved a flag proudly.

As Katashi would see the skill that wasn't used in the previous turn he was shocked. "Your vanguard had a skill like that all along?" he said caught off guard. Izo nodded with a grin

"That's not all I use Orsen's other legion skill. I counter blast and soul blast, since a card was called he gets 5000 power and since I called a card with the same name as a vanguard they get plus one critical and you can't block his attacks with anything grade 1 or higher (32000/2)" Izo added

Katashi seeing the full strength of Izo's vanguard was left impressed but could only think there was more. "Next I use Curion's skill I counter blast one and retire Verdun to soul charge 1 (Loyalty Lancer Dragon, Curion) and call Loyalty Lancer Dragon, Curion (9000). Following up with his skill I counter blast 1 to soul charge one (Lancer Dragon of Broadshield) and call Lancer Dragon Ascendant, Druin (5000)" he explained as his field had been built back up in an instant

As the new dark yellow and grey dragon had appeared on the field as it waved its flag another roar could be heard as from the sky two dragons would fly down as one was a dragon similar to the first one appeared with a gem encrusted sword pointed towards the angelic figures and the small brown and red dragon with a small flag-staff of the Lancer Dragon army in one hand and a small triangle-shaped sword in the other appeared.

"Seems you had this planned out for awhile huh? I don't guard" Katashi said knowing there wasn't much he could do to pull through the turn

"Twin Drive (Swift Lancer Dragon, Klaus - No Trigger, Silent Lancer Dragon, Blairen - No Trigger)" Izo revealed

The two dragons as they flew up to the pair of deities that hovered above the smaller yellow and white dragon would swing its sword as the larger red dragon would breath a stream of fire against them as both landed and the yellow dragon would quickly descend as the two holy beings were propelled to the ground as the dragon landed another strike on the both of them.

"Damage check (Transcendence Deity of the World's Beginning, Izanagi-No-Okami - No trigger) No trigger" Katashi said with a look that seemed more satisfied then disappointed as he placed the card in the damage zone causing it to glow

"So that's the end" Izo said looking to Katashi as he nodded in response "And so judgement is to be passed" Katashi added

Izo nodded as he was about to say the words necessary although reluctantly before he could say anything Katashi interrupted him.

"No, I'll be the one to pass down Judgement on myself" Katashi interrupted.

"Those who wish to commit sins have no right to reach heaven, be purified in the light of the Gods, Judgement" Katashi finished.

The cards in the damage zone formed a pillar of dark aura then 7 spears of light appeared and hit the area around Katashi and then the spears created a powerful light energy making him scream in pain as he falls to the floor.

"So... you came to tie up loose ends Serra?" Katashi said

After Katashi suddenly said that footsteps that were seemingly in the background before now became louder as a figure emerged suddenly out of nowhere that person being Raul Serra as he looked to the two.

"Wait, I know you...that spoiled European fighter..." Izo said under his breath

"Well aren't you clever Katashi" Serra taunted Katashi ignoring Izo's presence

"You know you're not going to get away with this, Galliard and the others won't fall that easily"

"You may think so but they are wrapped around my finger just as much as you were, Katashi Zanbara" Serra taunted and moments later would bring out his prison item as he created a strong dome of ice around the two suddenly trapping them "Enjoy your prison, I will now obtain the ultimate power" he said laughing maniacally as he walked away as

"YOU WON'T GET AWAY WITH THIS" Katashi Yelled

"That guy! I'm gonna take that spoiled fighter down-"

" Stand back Izo" Katashi interrupted Izo as he held his cross beginning to use its power to try and break the ice.

As Izo and Katashi would continue to try and break free from the prison Katashi would be exhausted from the constant use of his Prison items power.

Just as things seemed hopeless another energy collided with the spot Katashi striked with his holy energy causing the ice to break like glass to show Hitomi and the others waiting for them. "Izo, Katashi" Yudai said first as the two came out from the broken down ice prison "You guys made it" Izo said and Hedeyoshi nodded "We need to hurry and find Kin and stop whoever did this" Hikaru said

With that the now large group had headed deeper into the palace to catch up with Kiniro and find him and Kurai.
