A small golden armoured beetle with silver daggers and wearing a wreath on his head appeared behind Hiyama.

The golden beetle moved to the back and was replaced by a a small black armoured ant holding a long sword.

The black ant with a sword charged at the grey haired man and slashed him causing him great pain.

The blue haired man charged at the black armoured ant and as the ant defended with his sword he parried the sword and slashed the ant.

The black armoured ant raised his sword and lightning stuck it as the flash concealed the ant transforming into a teen sized bulky techno armoured green mantis with two scythe shaped arms.

"I call Machining Papillio (8000) and Machining Hornet (7000)" Hiyama stated

A silver armoured humanoid butterfly with black and glowing green wings appeared beside the mantis and a red armoured humanoid hornet with two white wings, a jet for legs and two giant, red, 3 bladed claws for hands appeared behind the butterfly.

"Her skill activates, Light Blaze Dragon is paralysed" Hiyama exclaimed as he grinned

The butterfly flapped her wings as pollen started to travel towards the blue and white armoured dragon and sparks started to form around him as he was left paralysed.

"With Hornets skill with a Machining in soul 3000 is added, now boosted by Hornet, Papillio will attack (18000)" Hiyama declared

"I guard with Seeker, Loving Healer (total defence 19000)" Hikaru countered

"Boosted by Scarab, Mantis MK II will attack (14000)" Hiyama declared

The techno armoured green mantis tapped his scythe shaped arms together as they glowed and slashed the air as a wave of energy flew towards the blue haired man and caused him pain chipping his armour.

The dark blue haired swordsman felt a surge of light run through him as it burst out blinding everyone in the area for a split second as the light faded the man was replaced by a blue dragon with large jet like wings wings, leg armour and two bull like horns landing behind Hikaru.

Two lights appeared beside the blue dragon and as the lights faded it revealed a blond haired women wearing a heavily armoured, blue, crystal like full-body armour, holding a bow-staff with a large crystal shaped end in the back and a blond haired teen in silver gold lined armour with a bag of blue arrows on its back, a metal case with blue arrows around the waist and energy bow on his left arm in front of her.

"Octavius skill...soul blast 2 to draw a card. Now Purgation Breath will attack your vanguard (11000)" Hikaru declared

"I won't guard that attack" Hiyama decided

"The twin drive (Defending Seeker, Shiron - No trigger) second (Siren Seeker, Maris - Stand trigger) stand trigger" Hikaru revealed

"Tch..." Hiyama scoffed annoyed

"You won't be able to keep me down Hiyama. I give the power and the standing effect to Light Blaze Dragon" Hikaru stated

The blue dragon flew with great speed towards the mantis and slammed into it pushing the mantis back.

The white and blue armoured dragon spewed out blue fire towards the mantis igniting it causing burns.

The green techno armoured mantis looked as though it grinned as it transformed into a giant humanoid stag beetle with heavy sapphire armour with a large chest plate, two giant horns on top of its head and a horn on its face holding a giant spear to match its armour for a hand and a giant cannon on its back.

The giant beetle charged at the dragon and as the dragon swung its tail to hit the beetle it fired its cannon at the tail stopping it and swinging the dragon back around and the beetle slashed him with the spear causing the dragon to roar in pain.

The butterfly took flight flying towards the white and blue armoured dragon and kicked it as it turned to blue dust.

Another dark blue haired man wearing a silver, gold lined knight armour with a blue scarf that splits in two as a cape holding a longsword appeared beside the dragon and looked at the beetle with confidence.

"Activating Gildas skill, I counter blast 1 and superior call Seeker, Rune Eagle (6000)" Hikaru exclaimed

A brown eagle wearing blue armour, green feathers at the tip of its wings and tail with laser cannons under the wings appeared behind the dragon and blue haired man.

"I activate my Legion skill, counter blast 2 Seekers, with that I superior call Full Bloom Seeker, Cerdic (9000), since I have more rearguards then you I counter charge 1" Hikaru stated

A hazel haired man wearing heavy knights armour with a giant red shield on his left arm and holding an energy fencing sword appeared beside the dragon and blue haired man nodding at them.

The blue dragon and blue haired man charged together towards the giant blue beetle but as they were about to strike a green armoured butterfly with silver and green wings holding a shield made of pollen appeared and blocked them as they retreated.

Another teen sized bulky techno armoured green mantis with two scythe shaped arms appeared beside the beetle and they stared down the blue dragon and blue haired man.

"I call Machining Hornet MK II (9000) and Machining Black Soldier (7000)" Hiyama stated

A teen sized humanoid hornet with gold coloured armour, glowing green eyes, black leather suit under the armour and a stinger for a hand and another small black armoured ant holding a long sword appeared beside the beetle and mantis.

"Just because you have a full formation now doesn't mean you can beat me" Hikaru stated

"Oh you haven't seen anything yet. First with Hornet I paralyze Gildas" Hiyama said with a grin

The hornet sent a wave of electricity to the blond haired man paralyzing him.

'What is he planning...' Hikaru thought

"Legion skill! Counter blast 2, soul blast 1 and I rest Mini Scarab" Hiyama stated

At that moment a green aura surround the beetle and mantis and seeing this Hikaru's eyes widened.

"Whats does it do?" Hikaru questioned

"With the cost payed now I paralyze your vanguard and Cerdic" Hiyama said smirking

Hikaru was surprised as the beetle fired its cannon with electricity and the mantis sliced the air creating an electric wave which hit the dragon, blue haired man and hazel haired man paralyzing their bodies as they kneeled.

"Just like that your vanguard is left helpless again, I activate Scarab's skill I counter blast and place him into the soul with that I paralyze Rune Eagle" Hiyama boasted

The golden scarab became a spirit and passed through the eagle paralyzing its body and went into the beetle.

"Now to cause you some more pain. Boosted by Machining Black Soldier, Hornet MK II attacks the vanguard (16000)" Hiyama declared

"I don't guard.." Hikaru decided looking down slightly

The yellow hornet charged at the blue dragon and blue haired man and grazed the dragon with his spear.

"Whatever! Caucasus MK II, Mantis MK II, Legion attack (20000)!" Hiyama declared

The large beetle and green techno mantis charged towards the blue dragon and blue haired man the beetle about to strike with its spear and the mantis about to strike with its scythes but a young boy with light purple hair, a blue helmet, wearing a sages outfit and holding a blue and gold tome appeared and created a barrier protecting them.

"Boosted by Hornet, Papillio attacks (20000)" Hiyama declared

The dark blue haired man and dragon were shrouded in a white light as the whole area was enveloped in it as the two were replaced by a large dragon with heavy silver wings standing, two arched wings with orange disc at the top holding a blue and orange longsword standing proud behind Hikaru.

"You had him this whole time!?" Hiyama said shocked with a look of anger

"If you weigh us down we'll just call upon an ally to stand back up again" Hikaru said with a grin placing a hand over Light Saver's card

"The cosmic dragon calls allies that blaze a path for the world, Seek Mate!" Hikaru announced

A green haired man wearing knight armour with a red shield on right arm, holding a energy longsword in his left with a blue cape and armour shaped like small wings appeared beside the dragon.

'It doesn't matter with the cards in hand and my intercept I can stop his assaults and paralyze his vanguard again' Hiyama thought looking at his hand

"I know what you're thinking and it won't work. Legion skill! Counter blast 2! Cosmic light empower my allies making them stronger then before! I give 5000 power to Egbert, Gildas and Octavius (16000) (14000) (12000)" Hikaru announced

"No way!?" Hiyama yelled

"I told you. I've gotten stronger and won't let you beat me this time, now boosted by Lucius, Egbert attacks (23000)" Hikaru declared

"I guard with Machining Venom Wasp and intercept with Papillio (total defence 26000)" Hiyama countered annoyed

"Now...Light Saver Dragon, Light Blaze Dragon...Legion attack (20000)!" Hikaru declared

"I guard with Venom Wasp and intercept with Hornet (total defence 26000)" Hiyama countered

'I should be fine as long as he doesn't get a critical trigger' Hiyama thought

"Twin drive (Seeker, Hallowed Breath Dragon - Critical trigger) all effects to Gildas" Hikaru revealed

'Darn it...no as long as I get a heal' Hiyama thought as Hikaru was about to do his second check

The blond haired bow created an arrow of light in his crossbow firing it a barrage of them at the beetle and mantis causing great deals of pain.

"D-damage check (Machining Caucasus - No trigger) (Machining Scorpio - Critical trigger) I lost...how could I lose!" Hiyama said as the damage hit the damage zone

"Its because you underestimated me, you're confidence lead to your downfall" Hikaru stated and the cards in damage zone started to glow

"No not this..." Hiyama said knowing what will happen next

Hikaru pointed to Hiyama.

"Sorry Hiyama but it has to be done...Judgement!" Hikaru announced

The cards in the damage zone formed a pillar of dark aura then 5 spiders crawled over to the Hiyama and span electrified webs around him making him scream in pain.

"AGHHH" Hiyama screamed as the pain enveloped him

As the webs stopped Hiyama fell onto one knee as the prison faded returning them to the hallway.

"Darn it..." Hiyama groaned still feeling the pain

Hikaru walked up to Hiyama and extended a hand to him.

"Thanks for the great fight Hiyama, lets keep going to meet up with everyone" Hikaru offered smiling

"Are you an idiot taking along someone who is an enemy!?" Hiyama shouted wincing in pain

"That doesn't matter to me, come on who knows how far the others are by now" Hikaru stated

Hikaru helped Hiyama up wrapping an arm around his shoulder and started to continue on the catch up with the others with Hiyama going along with it annoyed at Hikaru's gesture.

Kiniro, Izo, Yudai and Hedeyoshi was running through the sanctuary on the way to find Kurai.

"I hope Hikaru is doing alright" Kiniro wondered while running

"No worries Kin, I'm sure he's won his match and is on his way" Yudai assured him smiling

At that moment a blast of energy fired towards the four hitting the ground in front of them causing them to stop.

"What was that?" Izo wondered as they stopped from the blast

"So we meet again" A female voice said from further ahead of them

"That voice its Hitomi" Hedeyoshi stated

As if on cue the person who said that walked up to their view revealing Hitomi like Hedeyoshi said it would be.

"So you're the second obstacle to stand in our way" Yudai said with a grin

"Thats right Yudai Matsuro and its time for us to battle once more" Hitomi stated raising her dinosaur skull which was on hand

"Leave it to me Kin, you guys move on and I'll catch up" Yudai said grabbing his deck with a grin

Kiniro nodded as he continued past Hitomi with Hedeyoshi and Izo but Izo took a quick second to stop and turned to look at the two.

"Make it quick Yudai" Izo said before continuing to follow Kiniro and Hedeyoshi

Hitomi took a second to look back as Izo continued to follow Kiniro and Hedeyoshi turning back to Yudai.

"He makes it sound as though your victory is decided" Hitomi said

"We'll have to find out I guess" Yudai said with a grin

After making that statement she tossed the skull into the air and the area around them transformed into a wasteland with a giant mountain surrounded by fossils and two cardfight stands made of bones appeared in front of the two fighters.

"Let the battle commence" Hitomi stated setting up her field

"I won't make it easy for you and I aim to win" Yudai stated setting up his field

Soon the two of them were ready to begin a battle which could be intense with the battle spirit of the two fighters clashing.

Well thats the first battle done.
