After Kiniro and the others returned from Leon's island they had decided to return home to rest and do any preparation they need for the time they see the Cinque Defenders again. Kiniro after having a revelation got new cards from Clockwork to help him save Shade. Today they go to Card Capital after school to discuss the next best course of action when Kiniro, Hikaru and Hedeyoshi arrive they hear something that helps to find the Defenders again...

"Say what?! Is that true!?" Kamui shouted

Kiniro and the others were confused at Kamui's outburst which caused the customers to jump.

"Whats wrong with Kamui?" Kiniro asked

"Hey guys" Yudai greeted

Since Yudai and Izo aren't from Kiniro's time period they stayed at Kiniro's place and arrived earlier to Card Capital.

"We found out something new" Izo added

"Really whats that?" Hikaru asked

"A new entrance!?" Kai said in a questioning tone

Kiniro and Hikaru were shocked to hear this while Hedeyoshi kept calm.

"I expected them to have more entrances but I never thought we'd find it so soon" Hedeyoshi stated

"How did they find it?" Kiniro asked

"Naoki spotted the butler and followed him..." Yudai started

"Thats when he discovered the entrance" Izo finished

"Seems suspicious if you ask me" Hedeyoshi stated

"Agreed" Izo said

"Why's that?" Hikaru asked

"I see what you both mean. First they close the entrance at the ruins and this new one appears" Kiniro stated

"Not only that the butler wouldn't be so careless as to stay in the open where he could be followed. Its a set up" Hedeyoshi added

"So you guys think so too?" Miwa asked facing Kiniro's group

Everyone in Kiniro's group nodded as silence filled the room.

"Who care if its a trap!" Naoki interrupted

Naoki had stood up from his chair.

 "There really is an entrance there! And if we use it..."

"We may be able to meet brother Aichi" Kamui finished for Naoki standing up from his seat

"The same goes for us meeting Kurai and the others" Hikaru added standing up

Everyone turned to Kai and Kiniro after a moment of silence.

"True...Even if it is a, if we pass it up, we may not get another opportunity" Kai said to his mates

"Thats right and being able to bring Shade back as soon as possible would be the best option" Kiniro said looking at his mates

"No matter what's down the road it it gets us any closer to Aichi..." Kai started

"The challenge that will be presented to us maybe difficult to face but if it gets me to Kurai..." Kiniro started

"I..." Both leaders continued

Both Kiniro and Kai's groups looked at the pair slightly shocked.

"I say we go down that road without hesitation!" Both leaders stated

Kiniro and Kai's groups looked at the ones that lead them with determined faces.

"All of us together!" Both groups said in unison

"To wherever Aichi (and Kurai) is!" Both leaders finished in unison

After the speech both groups leaders gave discovering that a new entrance was discovered Kiniro and Kai's groups headed to an underground parking lot in the middle of the city to find the entrance Naoki found. Thanks to Miwa leading the way they managed to find the entrance.

"This is the entrance" Kai stated

"If it weren't for the butler showing himself, it probably would have taken a long time to find this entrance" Hedeyoshi exclaimed

"Well, after all we've been through, nothing surprises me" Miwa exclaimed with a closed eye grin

The groups walked onto the entrance and after Naoki figured out how to work it they were teleported to where the Quatre Knights and Cinque Defenders were hiding.

~Sanctuary~

Kiniro and Kai's groups appear inside the Sanctuary finding themselves within a large white hallway like you would find in a temple.

"Where are we?" Misaki asked

"Some kind of Temple?" Kamui suggested

"So this is where Kurai and Aichi are hiding out" Hikaru said looking around the hall

"Its definitely big" Yudai stated

"Yeah. At any rate its the enemy's secret base" Miwa stated

"Of course" Hedeyoshi exclaimed

"Aichi is here?" Kai said in a questioning tone

'We're finally here...' Kiniro thought determined

"It can't be!" An unfamiliar voice to most of Kiniro's group said shocked

Kiniro and Kai's groups turn around to see Raul Serra and his butler Moress.

"Raul Serra!" Kai exclaimed

"And that jerky butler!" Naoki exclaimed standing upright

"Who's he?" Kiniro asked looking at the two

"Kin the one next to the butler was the one at the airport" Hedeyoshi stated

"He's a Quatre Knight" Hikaru added

"This is impossible!" Raul said

"How did you people find this place?!" Moress asked

"Jerky butler! Moress, is it? I found the entrance by followin' you! I did it!" Naoki explained with a smirk

"What?! Fool! If they've found out about our sanctuary..." Raul yelled shocked

"I-I humbly apologize!" Moress said bowing

'I can already tell from the way they talk they were aware we were coming' Izo thought

"Well, well seems someone got too careless" Hedeyoshi said jokingly

"Sanctuary, huh? That's some high-falutin' naming" Miwa stated

"If this is your hideout, then Aichi must be here too, right!?" Naoki exclaimed

"Not to mention Kurai!" Hikaru added

"We don't have to tell you anything..."

"Quiet, Moress. I'll handle this" Raul interrupted

"Yes sir" Moress said bowing his head

'Something tells me he's the one calling the shots' Izo thought looking at Raul

Hedeyoshi looked at Izo and nodded getting a feeling of what Izo was thinking.

"It's true that Aichi and Kurai are here. All the way at the end of this path" Raul explained pointing two of his fingers past Moress to the end of the hall

'So their down there...' Kiniro thought

"Then Aichi really is here. All right" Naoki exclaimed

"That being said, I can't let you get by. You'll have to fight me first" Raul exclaimed looking at the group

Kiniro was about to volunteer but Hedeyoshi put his arm in front of him as if to say 'Leave it to them'. Hearing what Raul said Naoki raised his deck.

"Perfect! I'll beat the pants off of you here and then we'll head straight for Aichi!" Naoki said with confidence

"Just beating me isn't enough" Raul stated

"What?" Naoki said shocked

"Unless you can beat all four of us Quatre Knights..."

"Cerra that's..."

As Moress said this, Raul raised his hand and Moress stopped talking

"...You can't free Aichi, let alone meet him" Raul finished

"What do you mean?" Kai asked

"Aichi is sealed deep within here" Raul answered

"Seal?" Kai and Kiniro said confused

"We four Quatre Knights are intimately intertwined with that seal. Only if the four of us are defeated in a card fight here in this sanctuary, will the seal be lifted for the first time" Raul explained

Kai's group was shocked to hear this as was Kiniro's group soon enough the fight between Naoki and Raul Cerra began.

~Deeper in the Sanctuary~

Kurai was standing next to the place Aichi was sealed looking at his sealed form.

'I won't let Abyss run free...not again...' Kurai thought clenching his fist

Nagito walked up to Kurai with Hitomi, Hiyama and Katashi behind him.

"Kurai we have word that Kiniro and the others are in the Sanctuary" Nagito stated

'Kin...I told him all that yet he still...' Kurai thought looking at his deck

"What should we do Shade? Should we join the Quatre Knights in stopping them?" Katashi asked looking at their leader

Kurai turned to face his allies ready to speak.

"Do it...make sure they don't get here no matter what" Kurai said sternly

"Alright time to show them what we can do" Hiyama boasted

"Just don't screw up bug brain" Hitomi said

"SHUT UP!!" Hiyama yelled

"We should split up, so that if some of them pass the others can stop them" Katashi suggested

"Agreed" Nagito stated

With that Nagito and the other Cinque Defenders headed out to confront Kiniro and his group so they don't pass to Aichi's throne room.

'Its because of you he keeps trying isn't it..' Kurai thought looking at the bottom of his deck which has Don Dave as one of the seal podiums went to the ground Kurai too deep in thought to notice

~Back to Kiniro and Kai's groups~

The fight between Naoki and Raul ended with Naoki being victorious as the field disappeared after Judgement was passed Kiniro and Kai's group began walking.

'So according to that Raul Cerra guy if we lose here...memory judgement will steal our memories of Aichi and Shade all over again...but this time Hede, Hikaru and I might not be so lucky...so...we just gotta make sure not to lose any of our fights here' Kiniro thought as he walked beside his mates ready for the battle for his best friend
