Kiniro had woken up from a long sleep. After hearing from Don Dave about Abyss taking refuge in Void, in the end Kiniro and the others decided it would be best to not tell Kai and his mates about Void since they thought there may be consequences for telling them about Void. Kiniro was feeling refreshed knowing that Kurai was only looking out for him. Kiniro was getting himself ready in his room on Leon's island looking through his deck before they leave.

"You seem happy today my vanguard" Clockwork stated as he appeared in spirit form beside Kiniro

"Hey Clockwork, by the way you don't have to call me that overtime partner we are equals after all" Kiniro said smiling at his avatar

"I only refer to you by that because you are the one that leads us. But if you wish to not be referred to that then I won't young lord" Clockwork said doing a bow of respect

"Young lord? You really don't have to do that" Kiniro said

"Like I said young lord my respect to you for wielding our clan and protecting others is quite high and I wouldn't feel right being casual when talking with you" Clockwork explained

Kiniro sighs before giving up.

"Ok Clockwork if you must then I won't stop you" Kiniro stated

With that Clockwork smiled before disappearing and Kiniro headed out to meet up with the others.

~Meanwhile at the Sanctuary~

The members of the Cinque Defenders were gathered in their usual meeting space seperate from the Quatre Knights discussing the events that transpired at the entrance to the sanctuary.

"I can't believe that you went and revealed yourself Matiro!!" Hiyama yelled

"He had his reasons bug brain. Because of it we managed to crush Kiniro Inazuma's spirit" Hitomi stated sitting on a step

"At least this way he won't continue the search" Nagito stated

As the three were conversing Katashi turned and started to walk away.

"Where are you going Katashi?" Kurai asked facing Katashi from his seat

"Just gonna go for a walk" Katashi answered continuing to walk off

~In a hall of the sanctuary~

After a short walk Katashi had stopped at a large space where Raul Cerra and his butler Morres were talking. Curious about what they were talking about so he decided to sneak in closer to listen.

"So once Kai Toshiki and his mates arrive from their training you will lead them to the Sanctuary Morres alright" Cerra explained

"Yes master Cerra" Morres said bowing

"I knew there was an air I didn't trust around you Cerra" Katashi said revealing himself to them

"Ah Katashi Zanbara, one of our guardians. What brings you here?" Cerra asked avoiding the subject

"Don't try to change the subject, I heard your plan" Katashi stated

"It seems got us master Cerra" Morres stated

"Don't you have any idea what will happen when that monster is released?" Katashi asked

"I am quite aware of Void's power Katashi Zanbara, in fact I wish to harness that wonderful power" Cerra said with an evil grin on his face

"You're insane. Someone with a weak heart like yours can't control the power of that monster" Katashi informed

"How dare you speak like-" Morres started to say

Cerra put his arm in front of Morres as a way to tell him to stop.

"Well Katashi I would disagree. After all only I am worthy enough to wield the power of Link Joker" Cerra said looking down on Katashi

Seeing Cerra's response Katashi shook his head before saying.

"I think you've lost your mind" Katashi exclaimed

"Well although its a waste I'll have to teach you a lesson Katashi and silence you" Cerra said grabbing his deck

"If its to protect my friends and the ones I love so be it" Katashi replied grabbing his deck

Two fight tables appeared in front of Katashi and Cerra and they were ready to begin.

"When I win this card fight Katashi Zanbara you will have to answer to me from now on" Cerra said in a confident yet calm tone

"You think I'll lose to someone as power hungry as you" Katashi announced finishing up setting up his hand

~Meanwhile Back on Leon's Island~

Kiniro and the others were ready to return home with Kai and the others. Before they leave Leon approaches Kiniro.

"It seems your wind has changed Kiniro Inazuma" Leon stated

"Thats because now I know what I need to do and I won't give up on Shade, I will bring him home" Kiniro said with a smile

"I wish you luck on that Kiniro" Leon replied

"You can just call me Kin" Kiniro stated heading to the others

With that Kiniro and Kai's group left Leon's island on their way home.

~Back to Katashi's fight~

"I end my turn" Cerra stated

"You might as well give up Katashi Zanbara, you have been left with nothing and will not be able to break through my defence or survive my onslaught" Cerra exclaimed smirking

"You should never underestimate an opponent Cerra. Just because you have the lead doesn't mean you have the victory" Katashi stated raising a card to the sky

"What is that card?" Morres asked

Katashi smiled and then answered with.

"The truth...this card represents my friends and the ones I care about and have grown close to...you won't break this bond and will never free that horrible beast" Katashi explained

"He signifies the beginning of the world, he signifies the truth that are covered in lies, if I have faith I'll make the new world, I ride my avatar of truth Supreme Transcendence Deity of the World's Beginning, Izunagi-No-Okami (11000)" Katashi announced

Thor was enshrouded in a bright white light as a man wearing a long white and red inside jacket held together at the top with 2 locks, wearing a gold helmet with a gold V shape at the top and a black visor, armoured legs and holding a giant spear surrounded by a gold ring like the Inquisitor with 3 blades at the top and 1 blade at the bottom appeared on the battlefield.

"That card is his avatar" Morres said shocked to see the unit

"Uncovering the truth behind it all, but a truth is nothing without a lie, Seek Mate!" Katashi announced

4 cards flew out of Katashi's drop zone and returned to the deck then a light surrounded his deck and scanned through it, then a card flew out from the deck.

"The one who creates and the one who destroys, none will exist without each other, Transcendence Deity of the World's End, Izanami-No-Kami, Legion!" Katashi announced

A women wearing a long white robe with 2 red streams, a black cross face mask and a long black vail with white X's appeared beside the man with the white jacket.

"Such an interesting Legion" Cerra said amused

"Activating Jack Frost skill, I place him in the soul when my vanguard performs Legion, which allows me to soul charge 3 and call a grade 1 or lower Transcendence unit. I call Transcendence String of Fate, Clotho (7000)" Katashi stated

A women wearing a white cotton outfit with a black dress at the bottom with green hair and wearing black gloves.

"Now Izanagi, Izanami...Legion attack! Then Legion skill, persona blast" Katashi declares placing a copy of Izanagi in the drop zone

"Oh...hoping on your Legion skill to help you win this fight. It won't matter" Cerra boasted

"We'll see, with the cost payed I call a Transcendence unit from my deck for every 3 cards in soul. With 10 cards in soul I superior call 2 copies of Transcendence Jester, Loki (9000) and Transcendence Mother Hariti (7000) they also get 3000 power for this turn and with Hariti's skill by soul blasting 3 she gets 10000 power, along with Clotho who gets 9000 power since 3 Transcendence units were called this turn from the deck (12000) (12000) (20000) (16000)" Katashi added

"That much power for all his units!?" Morres said shocked

"Plus since 3 units were called with this skill he gets plus 1 critical (20000, 2)" Katashi finished

"Guard with Reef Banshee...Quintet Wall! (Rough Seas Banshee, 10000) (Young Pirate Noble, Pinot Noir, 0) (Ruin Shade, 5000) (Rick the Ghostie, 10000) (Reef Banshee, 0)" Cerra countered

"Twin drive first check (Transcendence Goddess of War Strategy, Athena - No Trigger) second check (Transcendence Beast, Gryphon - Critical Trigger) a critical trigger, all effects go to the Loki on the right" Katashi revealed

'Katashi Zanbara is a powerful fighter indeed but it'll all mean nothing when the power of Link Joker is mine' Cerra thought

"Boosted by Clotho, Loki on my left will attack, with his skill I soul blast 3 to block your grade 0 units from guarding (28000)" Katashi declared

'Considering his other Loki has the same skill best I stop this one first' Cerra thought

"I guard with Boatswain Arman, Sea Strolling Banshee and intercept with Pinot Blanc and Ghoul Dragon (total defence 31000)" Cerra countered

"Boosted by Heriti, Loki attacks using the same skill again you can't use grade 0 units (32000, 2)" Katashi declared

"No guard, the first (Rick the Ghostie - Heal Trigger) the power to my vanguard, second check (Ruin Shade - No Trigger) guess its your victory today Katashi Zanbara" Cerra admitted

Katashi had packed up his cards and started to walk away.

"Off to inform your friends of my plan?" Cerra asked in a not caring tone

"I'll let you decide your punishment...after all the truth will reveal itself eventually" Katashi answered exiting the room

"You will come to regret that Katashi" Cerra said with his evil grin

As Katashi was walking back to the others he had thought.

'Up until now I won't regret my decision to join the defenders...as long as I can find the truth that I seek' Katashi thought as he arrived at his destination to continue chatting with the rest of the Defenders

Well I hope everyone liked this chapter...as people familiar with the story would have noticed the fight was done slightly different in this chapter, that would be because I wanted to have the fight and keep the focus on story so I decided to shorten the fight and leave a couple of descriptions out for the turn. Also I'd like to say a follower of mine Killjoykilla25 owner of the character Katashi Zanbara is posting a backstory that will go into detail of the truth that he seeks. Well with that said lets all continue to live in this golden age.
