After Kiniro and the gang followed Kai and his mates they discovered that the Quatre Knights, Kai's enemy and their enemy the Cinque Defenders are truly working together and now after getting the same clue as Kai, Kiniro and the gang now heading over to the ruins with Kai and his mates.

~Station~

Kiniro and Kai's groups exited the station to see a beautiful scenery in a little town.

"Nice scenery!" Kamui exclaimed amazed

"Dummy. We're not here for sightseeing" Naoki stated

After a second of silence.

"The air is so fresh" Naoki said amazed

"This place is beautiful" Kiniro said in awe

"It certainly is" Hedeyoshi added

"Not often you see a peaceful place like this" Hikaru added

"The past is such a great place" Yudai said quietly to Izo

"It is nice" Izo stated

"So? Got our route?" Miwa asked Kai

"Yeah, we cross this bridge and turn right" Kai replied

"Um...We're not gonna use a bus or car?" Miwa asked sheepishly

"You can if you want" Misaki said beginning the walk

"It'll be nice to take a walk" Yudai said beginning the walk

"It doesn't matter much to me" Izo said beginning the walk

"Better start if we wanna get their quickly" Hikaru said beginning the walk

"We're young, so it's a piece of cake!" Kamui said beginning the walk

"We're young!" Naoki repeated beginning the walk

"It's a mountain hike! Let's use transportation at least part of the way up! Hey Kai" Miwa complained as he and Kai started walking

"Lets go Kin" Hedeyoshi said joining them

'Not long now, I'll be there soon Shade' Kiniro thought following Hedeyoshi

Kiniro and the gang made some distance up the hill with Miwa complaining most of the way, looking at the beautiful scenery along the way which gave off a peaceful vibe.

"It should be around here" Kai stated reaching a cliff

"There!" Misaki exclaimed pointing to the rock formation

"There!?" Naoki repeated

"So it seems" Kai stated

"That looks like the one from the picture" Hikaru exclaimed

"It is I'm sure of it" Hedeyoshi stated

"Great lets get down there" Kiniro said in a hurry

~In the Sanctuary~

3 of the Quatre Knights and Morres the butler were gathered in a foyer along with the Cinque Defenders and Morres started walking away from the members of the Quatre Knights.

"Apparently, Ren leaked the information" Said the man with violet hair and a gold broach with a high class outfit known as Raul Serra

"Hm. That's fine. It means I can exercise my skills" Said the man with medium dark purple hair wearing a black shirt with a white jacket and green scarf known as Philippe Neve

"You shouldn't be over confident there Neve" Nagito stated

"I believe you are mistaken Nagito Hintoshi I just wish to improve my skills"

"Too bad" Said the young girl who looked foreign and the same one Izo and Hikaru saw wearing a foreign looking outfit with long blueish hair tied up on the sides known as Rati Curti

"What" Neve replied

"Isn't it obvious" Hiyama exclaimed annoyed

"He already left...Gaillard" Rati said eating a doughnut

"Did 'she' leave already" A mysterious figure behind Nagito asked

"Yeah she did and 'he' decided to follow her too" Nagito stated

"Why did he go?" The figure asked

"It might have something to do with the source Kiniro and his friends received" Nagito stated

"Great, lets hope they succeed" The figure said

"Knowing that girl she won't fail" Hiyama exclaimed annoyed

~Back to the Ruin~

"Yeah, this is it. We're in the right place" Naoki said

"Seems like it" Hikaru stated

"But what is it?" Kamui asked

"Ren pointed this place out" Miwa stated

"Which means there's a clue here" Misaki stated

"If you ask me it looks like a portal" Izo stated

"I think you're right Izo" Yudai stated noticing the pattern on some of the circles

"Is this a vanguard circle?" Naoki asked shocked

"It is" Kiniro said shocked

"This is definitely the place" Hedeyoshi stated

Just then Kai and the others attention was focused on one of the circles that glowed from it Oliver Gaillard emerged from the circle.

"Who's he?" Naoki asked

"Oliver Gaillard" Kai answered surprised

"So you did come, Toshiki Kai, even after I warned you. I told you to forget everything" Gaillard replied

"Isn't he the European champion" Kiniro whispered to Hedeyoshi

"Yeah, he's tough and by the sound of it a member of the Quatre Knights" Hedeyoshi answered

"Thats impressive" Hikaru exclaimed hearing our conversation

"We don't know the meanin' of "givin' up"! I'm Naoki Ishida, the co-captain of Miyaji Academy's Cardfight Club! And I'm gonna kick your butt!" Naoki exclaimed

'Thats Naoki for ya'' Kiniro thought

"Ishida, I mean, co-captain" Kamui started to say

"Wait, Ishida I'll" Kai tried to say

"No, I ain't handin' this one off" Naoki interrupted

"I owe him one" Kai replied

"Kai, please, I came here after swearin' I'd take back the Cardfight Club...the place Aichi will return to! Let me do this!" Naoki exclaimed

"But..." Kai said hesitating

"Kai, please let Naoki take this one" Misaki requested

"Yeah Kai, I know Naoki can do this" Kiniro continued

"I'll fight either of you, also" Gaillard said looking at Kiniro and his group saying the last part

"Might you be Kiniro Inazuma" Gaillard asked

"Uh, yeah why" Kiniro asked surprised by his question

"So you are the one that is looking for 'that group'" Gaillard continued

"You know the Cinque Defenders after all" Yudai stated

As if on cue 2 more circles started to glow and they revealed two figures the first one was a girl around 17 with long grey hair in a pony tail, wearing a white visor cap, army shirt, silver necklace, army pants, black boots, steel plates on her shoulders with a badge with 5 stars and a boy with short casual black hair, wearing a white button up shirt with long black sleeves, black slacks, silver shoes, a silver locket around his neck and glasses.

"Hello, Kin, Hede" The boy greeted

"Katashi!!" Kiniro yelled

"Looks like Hitomi is with him" Hedeyoshi exclaimed

"So thats Katashi" Yudai stated

"Yeah seems like it, though I've got a bad feeling" Izo exclaimed

"Seems your friends are surprised to see you Katashi" Hitomi said

At that moment flames surrounded Kai and his mates and they disappeared.

"It looks like Gaillard has started the battle" Hitomi stated

"Knowing Gaillard he will win" Katashi stated

"Wait Katashi how do you know Gaillard?" Kiniro asked

"Have you not figured it out yet Kiniro Inazuma" Hitomi said sarcastically

"What" Kiniro replied

Katashi lowered his head and then after a second raised it before answering.

"I'm a member of the Cinque Defenders" Katashi answered

This had brought a look of shock on Kiniro's face to know a friend was against him finding Kurai.

"Why Katashi, WHY" Kiniro asked confused

"I have my reasons Kin" Katashi answered vaguely

"But..." Kiniro started

"Enough talk, now which one of you will be fighting me" Hitomi interrupted giving off a powerful aura

'Hmm, the aura she's giving off is powerful she must be strong' Yudai thought

Izo noticed Yudai's look and new exactly what he was thinking.

"Go for it Yudai" Izo exclaimed

"Alright, I'll take you on" Yudai exclaimed excitedly

"Yudai are you sure?" Kiniro asked

"It's alright Kin, this seems like it will be fun anyway" Yudai answered

"Well, well this fighter seems interesting" Hitomi stated

"Very well I shall fight you" Hitomi continued grabbing a miniature dinosaur skull

"Ancient creatures of the past, ensnare your pray, and devour them with your mighty fangs, Prehistoric Mountain Prison" Hitomi announced

After making that statement she tossed the skull into the air and the area around them transformed into a wasteland with a giant mountain surrounded by fossils and two cardfight stands made of bones appeared in front of the two fighters.

"Woah intense" Yudai stated

"These stages are interesting" Izo added

"Don't take this stage lightly this will inflicted the damage to you" Hedeyoshi stated

"Lets begin young boy" Hitomi stated

'She's different from the Tachikaze Clan Guardian' Yudai thought kinda relieved
