Xavi's POV

"Ano ba 'yung sasabihin mo? Diba sabi mo kagabi may sasabihin ka?" Tanong ni Tera habang naglalakad kami papunta sa bahay ng kaibigan namin.

I pursed my lips and slowly nod. "Meron nga, mamaya na sa bahay nila Jake." Sagot ko. I heard her little 'sus' which made me chuckle.

"Bakit kasi hindi nalang sa chat kagabi? Or di kaya sa dorm? Wait nga," We both stopped walking and I look at her confused.

"'Yan bang sasabihin mo ay something problem or information. At kagabi mo lang nanaman?" She asked and I slowly shake my head.

Her brows furrowed. "Kailan pa?" She confusedly ask.

I pursed my lips and smiled awkwardly. "Monday pa." I replied and I hear her grunt.

She massage the temples. "What the fuck, Xavi. A week, nasa dorm tayo. Schoolmates tayo, sa kabilang dorm room lang ako pero hindi mo pa sa akin sinabi? You really waited for us na makauwi muna ng Tagkawayan before you tell me?" She said and I awkwardly laugh.

I started walking again. "Eh kasi naman, busy sa school." I started.

"Ikaw lang, hindi ko pinro-problema ang schoolworks." She said and I slightly chuckle.

"Tapos.... basta. I just don't feel like telling it to you sa dorm. Baka sermonan mo ako eh. Makita tayo ng lower grades na nagkakagulo." I said and she looked at me with squinted eyes.

"Bakit naman? Seryoso ba?" She asked and I shrug.

"Edi sabihin mo na." She said and I slowly nod.

I take a deep breath and purse my lips. "So.. Sam, Samira from the other section, added me to this group chat. Then in that group chat, there's other people from different places na online friends niya." I paused, I was about to speak again when Tera raised her right hand.

I look at her confusedly. "Let me guess, sa group chat na 'yon, may gwapo na lalaki at crush mo na?" She ask and my eyes widened.

I gasp. "What the fuck? How did you know?! Andon ka ba sa group chat na 'yon?!" I asked, surprised. How come she know that?! Except sa part na crush ko na. I haven't even talk to Bright kahit ano. But sometimes I would answer his good mornings and goodnight sa group chat.

Tera chuckled sarcastically before rolling her eyes. "Shut up, we're classmates since 2nd grade, and now what, we are grade 12. For 10 years Xavi, 10 years! I know you, marupok ka." She said and this time, I'm the one who rolled my eyes.

I crossed my arm in front of my chest. "Grabe ka, hindi naman." I said and I hear her scoff.

"Sus! Hindi daw! Lahat ata ng nakausap mo nagiging crush mo." She said and my brows furrowed.

I shake my head. "Hindi 'no! And besides, Bright is the first guy I just know from online. My first online guy friend." I said as I continue to walk looking in front. When I suddenly got grabbed by the arm.

"Gaga, Bright pa! Ito na bahay nila Jake oh! Lalampas ka." She said before pulling me towards the gates of Jake's house.

"Jake? Jake! Tao po?" I said while looking by the window. Looking for a person inside.

When suddenly the door opened. "Bagong gising ka?" I immediately ask when I saw Jake's face. His hair is even messy and he's scratching his eyes.

He shake his head. "Andito na si Ken, nanonood lang kami." He said before walking towards the gate opening it for us.

"Kanina pa siya?" I ask when we entered their yard. He nod and close the gates.

"Mga... after lunch andito na siya." He replied and my brows furrowed. I removed my shoes and entered their house.

"Ang aga, usapan 2pm." I said and Jake just shrug before walking towards their living room where Ken is at.

"Ano pinapanood niyo?" I ask as I walk towards them. Tera trailing from behind.

"Ano 'yan?" I ask as a movie is playing in the tv.

"Money Heist." Jake shortly replied. I slowly nod before standing up walking towards their pantry.

Sanay na ako sa bahay na 'to. Usually kapag uuwi ako from Tayabas City we would always hang out here. And I raid their pantry every time we go here. And Jake don't even bother. He just let us get drinks or whatever.

I opened their fridge to see if there's any nice or beverage for us to drink. Or for me to drink. Usually I would see a box of fresh milk here. And that's what I would always drink.

"Oh.." I pick up a bottle of beer.

I close the fridge and walk towards them with a bottle of beer in my hand.

"Uh.. who want?" I ask while raising the bottle. I hear Ken snorts.

"Tanghaling tapat Xavi, alak agad bes?" He ask and I frown before looking at the bottle.

"Beer lang 'to." I said and raised it again.

Jake stand up and walk towards me before grabbing the bottle out of my hand. "Wag 'yan." He coldly said before putting back the bottle inside the fridge.

I frown and followed him towards their fridge. "Bad.. pinapayagan ako nila mama mag-inom pa minsan-minsan. And besides I'm 18, so yeah. Give me that back." I said as I make grabby hands and gave him a smile.

He roll his eyes and sigh before opening the fridge and getting something from there. "Here.. ito nalang sa'yo. Mas maganda 'yan kaysa alcohol. And it will give you energy." He said as he hand me a bottle of VitaMilk.

I smiled while looking at the bottle in my hand. "Yey! Sige pwede na 'to. Masarap 'to diba?" I asked but when I look up it's too late. He's already gone.

I pout and walk towards them. "Pang bukas nito?" I ask, raising the bottle in the air.

Jake pointed by their mini bar. I walk towards it and saw the opener hanging. I held it and open the bottle.

"Maganda ba 'yan?" I ask them when I came back.

Tera shrugged. "To be honest, I dont understand it. Probably because hindi ko nasimulan." She said and I slowly nod. Then suddenly I hear Jake flick his tongue.

"Let's watch other movie. What do you want?" He ask while scrolling trough Netflix.

"365 Days." I choked on my drink when Ken said that. I hear Tera made a disgusted sound while Jake just laugh while still scrolling.

"Bastos 'yon!" I hissed and Ken look at me with wide eyes.

"Sus! Para kang hindi nanonood." He said and I roll my eyes.

"50 Shades Of Grey?"

"Tera!" Saway ko rito. Napatawa naman si Tera bago mag kibit balikat.

"Freaky Friday." Jake said and my head immediately snap at his direction.

"Anong genre?" I ask..

I saw him purse his lips and shrug. "Family, comedy something. Basta hindi siya bastos." He said and I nod.

"Edi 'yun nalang. Para safe." I said and no one complain anymore. So Jake put the movie on and we just stay there silent.

We would laugh sometimes, then scold the characters. Or diss the characters if they made something stupid.

"Si Addison? Nasaan na daw siya?" Tera ask in the middle of the movie. I checked my phone and saw the last message from Addison. It was an hour already and she's still not here.

When suddenly we heard the dogs bark but we didn't bother to look. When someone suddenly hugged me from behind.

"Addi! Grabe ha! Ang aga ng 2pm mo!" I teased her. I hear her scoffed before sitting on the other couch.

"Aba'y pasensya na! Mahina ang tulo ng tubig eh." She said and I just laugh and continue to watch the movie.

"Uy gusto ko rin ng VitaMilk, meron pa Jake?" Addison ask. Jake just nod and point at their fridge. Addison stand up to probably grab a drink and food. While I stand up and out the bottle over the kitchen island.

I look at Addison who's still picking a food but already a bottle of VitaMilk on her hand.

"Kunin mo 'yung potato chips." I said and she just nod and grab the bag of chips. We sat beside each other and started eating.

When I suddenly felt boredom. I'm not really into movies. But this is what we would usually do when we go here. The past weeks it was us playing Monopoly. But we got tired of it so we started watching movies. But I suck at watching movies. It's either I'll fall asleep or just use my phone. And that's what probably I'll do right now.

I grab my phone and first went to Messenger. Then I saw 'The Simps' having a lot of messages. So I tap on it. Only to see Bright, Layca, and Sam arguing about something.

You're probably annoyed by me that time. Cause I am annoying.

No, I'm not annoyed to you. It's you who distance yourself until you just leave.

Napaismid ako bigla, ano bang pinagsasabi ng lalaking 'to? He barely even message sa group. So how come did he became annoying?

Bright is dead inside, Layca owns the nickname simp with the emojis and then Samira. Ako palang ata ang walang nickname dito. But this isn't the time for that.

Then that's when I hop in.

I sigh and put down my phone. I look at my friends and saw them still watching. I sigh once again and put down my phone.

"Jake pa-ihi." I said before walking towards their bathroom. After I did my business I went back to them. And when I lifted my phone my eyes immediately widened.

"Shit! Shocks! Hala! Shit nag message siya! Nag-pm siya!" I cant help but to squeal, I hear Ken laugh while Addison and Tera look at me confused.

"Sino?" Addison confusedly ask.

I covered my mouth. "Shit! Ito! 'Yung gwapo sa group chat! Ano irereply ko?!" I started panicking.

He fucking message and pm me.

"Open the message first." Tera said and I did.

"Anong nangyayari sa'yo Xavi?" I snap back to reality when I hear Tera's voice.

Pinanlakihan ko siya ng mata bago umiling. "Wala naman." I said before giving her a smile.

"Kinikilig." Addison said from my side. I look at her and pout before letting out a squeal.

"Takte! Kausap ko siya!!!" I said before burying my face on a pillow. I hear them flick their tongues and sigh.

Then my phone beeped and I immediately look at it.

My eyes widened, I look closely to my phone to see if I'm reading g it correctly. Fuck! He asked Layca!

I look at the message I'm sending. But it takes some times since the signal here is pretty poor. But when it send he immediately see it.

My eyes widened and saw them on the stairs already.

"Ah! Wait!" I said before running upstairs. They said we're playing hide and seek.

When we are by the terrace already I immediately started typing.

I smiled and pursed my lips before putting down my phone. That's when I realized Addison and Tera are looking at me, intensely.

"Tapos kana makipag landian?" Addison ask, I chuckled and roll my eyes.

"Sorry na, kasalanan ba ang kiligin?" I said before walking towards them.

I hear Tera sigh. "Pinapaasa ka lang niyan. Sa susunod wala na 'yan." She said and I rolled my eyes.

She take a deep breath. "I gho-ghost ka rin niyan."
