"Time to get ready."

Chapter 2- Heartbreak
Slade smiled as He said those words. Robin shuddered and tried to get away from him again. Slade let go of his gaze and walked away from him slowly, knowing it was only a matter of time before...
"Rgh" Robin yelled.
Finally, he had gotten rid of Slade's robots as He predicted he would. Slade could hear his footsteps coming closer. No doubt to
send a blow towards him. With perfect timing He turned around and punched him in the stomach. Robin went flying and hit a wall. He lay there for just a second winded, but got up almost immediately. That was why He chose him. His fighting sprit and refusal to give up... exactly like him.
Robin came running towards him once more, but this time slade released his fiery ropes. Darting from his hands, Robin was bound onto the floor, the same way he was bound to the wall. Slade slowly circled him.
"Let me go Slade," Robin snarled looking up at him. Slade chuckled lightly.
"Now Robin, why would I ever do that? You will be my apprentice whether you like it or not," I said.
"No I won't!" Robin shouted as he desperately tried to get free of the ropes.
Slade smirked. Yes he was exactly like him.
"Now, now Robin. You wouldn't want anything to happen to your worthless friends, now would you?" Slade taunted.
Robin stopped dead as his struggling ceased he glared up at slade. There was fear and compliance ghosting over his features. Slade released him from the ropes and waited. He was eager to see if robin would attack or not. Slade slowly started to walk out of the small dark room.
"Follow me Robin," Slade ordered him in a calm and composed tone.
Slade could see that Robin was hesitating. He raised his head to look at him, before lowering it and getting up. Slade beamed triumphantly as he obediently followed behind.
The two travelled through a series of corridors. Robin walking a sew steps behind slade sulking and angry but apprehensive all at once. Being almost the same slade knew that he was trying to remember the way through the two had come.
"You'll find it impossible to remember the way through these hallways Boy" Slade knowing robin as he did, knee he was most likely making a plan in his head to figure out how to try and escape.
"I never asked you Slade." he retorted.
Slade anger rose slightly at the boys comment but decided to let it slide this one time. He will learn respect soon enough.
The two stopped in front of a half black half orange door. Robin automatically took in the surroundings and small carved SA and bird mdetails lining the doors frame. He was curious, this much one could see clearly. Slade swing the doors open as gently as he could the two following them inside.
"This is to be your new room" slade pointed out as robin looked over to him.
It was a fairly large room room but not too big. It was obvious it was meant for one person. There was a queen size bed placed in the centre of the room. A side table on each side of the bed. On the left side there was a wardrobe and shoe rack filled with three pairs of steel boots. On the right a full length mirror and small desk neatly organized. Robin looked over the bed to once again find the colours of black and orange. The comforter the same half and half coloration as the door. Slade has allowed robin the small favour of red pillow cases. A tribute to his former life. Looking around robin spotted a glass door at the side leading into a private bathroom.
Slade walked through the room, and opened the wardrobe. He pulled out one of the many apprentice uniforms robin hated so much. The uniform he was wearing now was in tatters and burned. Slade threw the uniform belt and boots onto robins bed.
Robin saw it and stiffened. He knew that Slade wanted him to wear it and he also knew he'd be forced to and that if he didn't, his friends were doomed.
"I hate you," was his venomous reply as he walked over and picked it up.
"I will rescue the others and we will stop you and Trigon." he said beginning to put the uniform on.
There was anger dancing on his face. The boy just didn't know how far slade would go to make sure he would never let him get away.
Robin had managed to stop himself from trying to hit me as he finished putting the uniform on. He stood in front of the wall using it a leverage to get his boots on. seething with anger robin walked over to slade once more.
"That's my boy." Slade smirked slyly.
"I'm not your boy," Robin said cold tone hiding the vicious intent.
My eye narrowed. In the next second, I had pushed him face up the wall.
"You might not like it Robin, but you're my apprentice and that means that you're mine. You ARE NOT Batman's little bird boy anymore. Why don't you just accept the fact that I own you!" I growled.
No one could test Slade's patience like Robin could. And He knew he would.
Slade pushes robin further into the wall the bit bit his lip. Probably didn't want slade to hear him cry out in pain and have that satisfaction. I let him Go as fell onto the floor.
"You have ten minutes to change your attitude." Slade said walking out.
He glared at the man as he left. Slade loved his defiance. It brought a challenge.
Slade walked into trigons 'throne room'. The titans were bound to the wall hanging by their arms. They glared as slade walked in.
"Where is Robin?" Starfire asked glaring harder.
Her eyes usually lit up green when she got angry but with her powers gone, her eyes stayed the same.
"Wouldn't you like to know?" He asked mockingly.
She seemed scared of slade, and for good reason. All of them seemed scared.
"You might have realised by now, that he's not your leader anymore," He didn't explain any further.
It was amusing to see them immediately assume that I had killed him.
"If you've hurt him..." Cyborg started.
Beast Boy and Raven seemed to have given up all hope once they thought that Robin was dead. It was amazing how the Teen Titans would start to disappear if Robin had not held them together like glue.
"You don't need to worry, Robin might be hurt but he's not dead." I said casually as I walked out of the room.
"I will bring him here in about five minutes. Not on your behalf however." Slade said emotionlessly.
Slade saw the look of relief that Robin was not dead pass through the Titans faces before I left the room. It was going to be interesting to see how they react to Robins 'change of heart'.
Slade walked back to Robin's room and found him sitting on his bed contemplating something. He glared at slade as he realized he was there.
"When this is over..." he began to threaten.
Slade took hold of his arm and drug him out of the room. He started to resist but then stopped when He was given a warning look.
"I thought I told you to change your attitude!" Slade yelled.
"Come along We are going to pay a visit to your friends." Slade said regaining his composure.
