Paisley POV_*

The rest of the school day was a blur.

After seeing how pissed Allison was, I couldn't help but feel guilty for liking someone after I had just left a 2 year relationship with my childhood sweetheart who died a month ago.

Sounds fucked up right?

Ugh im such a bitch. Im such a liar and a traitor. How could I do this to Jayden?

I walked into my house but my mom wasnt there so I went straight to my bedroom and locked the door.

The first picture I saw was my sunset picture with Jayden.

I picked it up and stared at it.

How could I just leave his memory in the dust?

I felt my cheeks warm up and I started bawling.

Then I felt this rage in me.

I tossed the picture onto my bed and started throwing things.

I stopped when I realized I had broken a bracelet given to me from both my father and Jayden when I was 10.

I clasped my fingers around it and slowly sank into the floor crying silently.

Jayden. Why did you leave me? You promised to always be here. But why.

WHY!?!??!??!?!?!? WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME!?!??!?!?!?!?

I screamed at the top of my lungs and held my hair in my hands.

WHY?!

I tightened the grip on the bracelet and just leaned on the wall for support. 

My life is just fucking bullshit.

I didn't go to school for 2 days.
But I went Friday.

My mom told me I could stay home cause I looked sick. But I still went.

I woke up with my green eyes dull and swollen from crying for about 3 days straight and they were blood shot red. I had deep bags under my eyes and my skin was pale.

I tried to wash my face and put water around my eyes but it didn't help.

I put on a big cardigan with leggings and my Uggs and I put on the best smile I could muster. 
My mom wasnt home since she worked the morning shift.

I walked out my house and felt the breeze.

Its been a while since Ive been out.

I walked slowly towards school. Hoping I could just disappear.

As I walked into school all I saw was people staring at my with pity.

I was confused. Why are they looking at me like that?

As I walked people stared.

Then a girl with short curly hair came up to me and said " Im sorry for your lost.We all miss him too."

Wtf? How do they know ?

Then I realized.

Allison.

She only person who knew about that.

I walked quickly with my fist curled up.

How could she? She told everyone. That's why people looked at me like that. They thought Jayden had transferred.
Now they know. Why would she do that? Basically everyone in the school was his friend and he was the nicest person ever that's why everyone liked him. Now they all look upset.

I literally ran from room to room looking for Allison. How could she?

I kept looking. Then I just walked into the bathroom to relax.

Calm down Paisley. Its ok.

I was about to walk out when I saw a pair of pink vans come out of a stall.

I walked towards her.

"Why in the world would you tell everyone about Jayden!?!??!?! Do you have any idea of how they looked at me?  They looked at me with pity and sympathy.  And you very well know I hate that. They all looked so upset and sad. That's exactly what Jayden didn't like. Seeing people upset!"

She just looked at me with a glare.

"What did you want me to do? You are the one keeping this from them. They thought he was on vacation and you let them think that!?!??!?! Hes dead and he was everyone's best friend and you expected them to take this lightly?! Imagine if they didn't find out till later!  Who do you think you are keeping this from everyone? You are sick. You disgust me."

She shoved past me and I stood there.

Was what she said true?

I stayed in the bathroom all day. I know sounds dumb right? But its not like they were just gonna let me leave. Whatever. This is my life now.

**Chase POV**

When I walked into school everyone looked depressed. Even the teachers.

I walked up to Phillip and Joshua. 

"Hey. What's up? Why does everyone look depressed?"

Phillip shrugged.

"I have no idea but like man you can feel the sorrow."

Joshua spoke.

"Im gonna go and find out."

He ran and turned the corner and found Allison.

He was talking to her. Then I saw his face soften and he hugged Allison .

What is happening?

Joshua pointed towards us and Allison shook her head and walked away.

Joshua came back and he looked like his dog died.

"So what did Allison say?" Asked Phillip. 

"She said that her childhood best friend died a month ago and that he was loved by everyone and that he was friends with everyone. And everyone found out about his death. This is why they all look dead inside."

Wait. Didn't Allison tell me something about this when I first met her?

I looked around and everyone was on the verge of tears.

I was still looking about and I realized I was looking for Paisley.
Where was she?

"So ill meet you guys at lunch I got something to do. Ok?"

Joshua and Phillip gave me a questioning look.

"Ok sure."

I walked away quickly and began to look for her.

I need to figure out what's wrong. And fast. Cause I have a feeling that something is going to create a huge problem really soon.
