Paisley POV_*

I woke up to a pounding headache.

I looked around and saw people rushing back and forth.

People were screaming orders, sirens blasting.

A woman with light brown hair blue eyes and a white doctors coat was at my side talking to me.

"Stay with me honey. Everything will be ok. Don't fail on me."

Then she started yelling.

"Doctor shes lost alot of blood. What do we do?"

"Put an IV tube in my arm then connect it to her. NOW! If she continues to lose blood we might lose her and that's not happening on my watch."

I groan.

Where am I?What happened?

The doctor looked at me for a few minutes.

"Shes good now. You can take the IV tube out of my arm. Shes ok for now."

I turn my head to see Jayden being wheeled into the emergency room in lighting speed.

A doctor about 30 years old, black hair and brown eyes filled with fear and anxiety came in with Jayden and started yelling.

"WE ARE LOSING HIM!!!!!!
GET THE DEFIBRILLATOR NOW!!!"

A nurse ran and returned 45 seconds later.

I watched as the doctor put a gooey substance on two of the plates of the defibrillator.

"CHARGING - 400 - CLEAR!!!"

My eyes widened as I saw Jayden body jump up due to the electrical shock.

"AGAIN!! CHARGING - 400- CLEAR !!"

The doctor checked his heart rate.

"HES NOT RESPONDING!!!! AGAIN!! CHARGING - 400 - CLEAR!!"

I watched as they electrified Jayden again.

"COME ON!!! ONE MORE TIME!!!
DON'T LEAVE US!!! CHARGING - 500 - CLEAR!!"

Jaydens eyes remained closed. The doctor tried CPR.

"Come on. Please."

The nurses pulled him away.

A nurse spoke.

"There's no use. Hes gone.We lost him."

The doctor looked at Jayden with a pained look before turning and walking away.

I laid there forgetting about my headache and sat up. The doctor who was with me was called Dr. Chase which it said on her coat.

"Honey you need to lay down. You have a concussion, 3 broken ribs and a twisted foot. You could hurt yourself more."

"Just give me a minute with him please."

I said barely above a whisper.

Dr.Chase looked at me in the eyes smiled and nodded her head.

I stood up and limped towards Jayden with Dr.Chase behind me just in case.

I looked at him. His face paler than usual. He had a scratch at the top of his head. His lips were a light blue and the bottom lip was split at the corner. His blonde hair covered with red streaks of blood. His arm s and legs cut.

"Jayden. Jayden please wake up. I need you. Please I love you. You arent just my boyfriend your my best friend. When we were 3 you promised you would always be there, you and me together as best friends then we became more. Jayden wake up please. Don't leave. You promised. I love you. We're a team remember?"

I took his hand in mine and sobbed quietly.

I waited to see his energetic kind and playful gray eyes looking up at my emerald ones.

But they never opened.

I kissed him on the forehead. And whispered.

"Jayden.I need you."
A single tear from me fell on his cheek and slowly rolled down.

Then I felt lightheaded and i fell back into someones arms.

Dr.Chase yelled.

"Someone get her to a room and put her on the bed while we wait to take some test and take more x rays."

I was lifted from her arms.

I caught one last glimpse at Jaydens lifeless body before everything went black.

Its Carrots and im happy with this book since I put lots of thought into it. Im happy I have more than 100 followers. It feels great to know people share things in common with you . so this is my second book I deleted the first since it didn't seem right to me. But I have faith in this one.
