"Get used to that, she does it all the time." She explains. "Let me introduce myself, my name is Regan. That was Neon, she's my twin but not by blood. We gained our 'abilities' at the same time. Before I continue could you sit down, please." I do as she says and sit down in the only chair in the room. As I do I realize  Regan has is in her room is the bed she's in, the chair I'm sitting in and a small table. A metallic glimmer on the walls catches my attention, until Regan spoke. 

"The people in this hospital don't know about our 'abilities' and it will stay that way." She was intensely looking at me. I frantically nodded, meaning I would tell anyone. Regan continued after a nod. "The metal on the walls are to keep the shadows out. They are what I fought against. One of them had nightshade claws which makes the body shut down or paralyze. Neon and are not from your world, you can call us aliens even. Weare–"  We were interrupted by a knock at the door. In entered a nurse and a doctor.

"Ah, you are awake. That's great." The doctor had a big smile on his face and then his eyes fell onto me. "And you have a visitor too." The nurse just smiled to us then listened to the doctor as he spoke in medical mumbo-jumbo. I briefly looked out the widow, it's softly raining, than I see or more like feel Neon's presence at the door. She still looks grumpy when she looks at me, but her face softens ever so slightly when she looks at Regan next to me. She seems worried for Regan, by my guess this isn't the first time this has happened. I notice she's carrying the small bag full of bottles and jars.
