(Mark's POV)
I see Silvermay watching Regan as she smiles with her head tilted back a bit, soaking up the mid-day sun. As she opens her eyes, her gaze fails onto Silvermay. She seems afraid to keep eye contact, Silvermay didn't look to happy either. Neon looked uncomfortable, standing under Silvermay's glare.

Aprilstar somehow left without any of us knowing. I look around and see her fiery red hair way off in the distance heading off towards the village. Silvermay finally takes her gaze off Regan to look in the direction I'm looking in and spots what or more like who I'm looking at. She gives a small smile before turning to look at me.

"Aprilstar is getting some nice produce for afternoon tea today. Will you be joining us Mark?" Before I could say anything Regan butts in, blurting out "Can he join?" She quickly regrets speaking up by clamping her hands over her mouth. Silvermay doesn't even pay her a glance, still intently staring at me, waiting for my answer. I just stare back with my mouth agape. I hear Neon clear her throat, breaking the complete and awkward silence. Everyone's attention fell on her.

A few strands hang in front of her eyes. She carelessly brushes them behind her ear before speaking.
"I spoke with grandmaster, he said he could join." She spoke so matter of factually. Regan looked like she was about to burst from excitement, but only glanced between me and Silvermay before giving me a small smile. Her checks puff up when she smiles, it's so cute, I couldn't help myself and smile back.
