In the morning I mention the dream I had to the girls over breakfast. Neon waited for Regan's reaction while she chewed her mouthful of pancakes. I can tell who the boss is between the two is. Regan watches me over the top of her steaming cup of tea before speaking.
"I think it's time you saw our home."

We relocate to the living room. Neon is mumbling something as she kneels on the floor. Regan stands next to me with a grim look on her face. A moment later and an oval of blue light appeared on the wall. Neon shifts into her wolf form while Regan changes her form with her wings folded in.
"Let's go." Regan command as she stepped through the blue light, Neon pushing me through behind her.

Stepping through the oval of light, it turned out to be a tunnel, rippling like water under foot. At the end was just blinding white light. I hear voices coming from the other side; we step out on to a cobblestone street. We are in a little village with a massive castle at the end of the road. People gather on either side to watch us, mostly me. Regan's already walking off while I was looking around. I don't think she's Regan anymore. Neon still stands by me.

Neon and I finally catch up to Regan while she storms her way to the castle. People are cautious to cheer because of my presence and how Regan looks. When we make it to the gates, they are shut and looked. Regan gave a frustrated stomp before shooting up into the sky, up over the gates. Landing on the other side with a loud thud. Something about her is different. The tips of her wings look grey, but it could just be in the shade. We watch Regan storm in to the castle, the doors nearly flying off there hinges.
"We might want to leave her be." Neon mentioned after shifting form again. We watched until the door is shut behind Regan.
