Moriah was in shock, she stood staring at the person.

The person waved her hand in front of Moriah.
"Um, Moriah?"

Alanis gave a confused look and waved her hand again.
"Moriah? Hello?"

Moriah snapped back to reality.
"Alanis, what are you doing here?"

"She wanted to see you."

Moriah looks over behind Alanis. Morgan walked up and stood behind Alanis. She wore black high heels and a beautiful loose brown dress.
Morgan smiled at Moriah.
"It's a pleasure to see you again, Mrs. Smallbone."

Moriah shook her head.
"You can call me Moriah."
Morgan continued.
"You see, Mrs. Smallbone- I respect others by using their last names- Alanis, here," she placed her hand on Alanis's shoulder.
"Said she wanted to visit the Smallbones' while we where in town."

Moriah looked at Alanis. Alanis smiled at Moriah.

Alanis was so grown up. She was now fourteen years old. Her was no longer blonde, she dyed it light brown. And her smile was even more cheerful than before.

Moriah opened the door wider.
"Well, please come in."

Morgan nodded and Alanis went in, but Morgan stayed outside.
"No thank you, Mrs. Smallbone, I must leave, for I have a meeting. I just came to drop Alanis off, I will pick her up later, if you don't mind."

Moriah shook her head.
"Not at all, I'll see you then."

Morgan smiled, "Alright then." She looked at Alanis and smiled sweetly, "Have fun, my little angel."
Alanis ran up to Morgan and hugged her.
"I will mom, be safe, I love you."
Morgan parted and kissed Alanis's forehead.
"I love you, too. I'll be back later."

Morgan turned and immediately, a white limo appeared. The driver opened the door for Morgan and helped her enter the car. He closed the door once she got in, and he drove away.

Moriah closed the door and turned to Alanis. Alanis smiled back at Moriah.
They both hugged tightly.
"Alanis, I'm so happy to see you again..." Moriah whispered as she hugged her.
Alanis buried her face into Moriah's shoulder.
"I missed you so much, Moriah."

They parted and Joel walked in the room. He saw Alanis and rubbed his eyes.
"Moriah, I'm seeing things again!"
Moriah giggled.
"Joel, I can see her too."
Joel opened his eyes and Alanis waved.
"Hello, Joel."

Joel jumped and ran up to Alanis.
"Oh my, Alanis! You're a grown up!"
He hugged Alanis tightly. Alanis laughed and hugged Joel back.
"Well, you've matured a bit."

Joel laughed and parted.
"Oh, Alanis, we've missed you so much!"
Alanis gave a small smile at Joel.
"I missed you guys, too."

Tamara walked in with Joanna, Tamara was looking at a clipboard in her hand and Joanna saw Alanis.
Joanna's mouth flew opened and she tapped on Tamara's shoulder. Tamara ignored her.
Joanna stuttered out.
"T-tamara... L-look!"

Tamara rolled her eyes and looked up.
"What's so important that you-"
Tamara's eyes widened as she saw Alanis.
Joanna screamed.
"LANI!!!"

Tamara and Joanna ran up to Alanis and hugged her. Alanis giggled softly.
"Nice to see you guys too."

Joel smiled and Moriah giggled. Alanis parted from her hug and looked around.
"Hey, um, where's Issac?"

Joel and Moriah smiled. Tamara and Joanna picked Alanis up and took her to the backyard.
Everyone turned and saw Alanis.

It was silent for about a minute until Issac screamed.
"ALANIS!!!!"

He ran up to her, making her fall backwards.
Issac hugged Alanis tightly.
"My birthday wish came true!"
Alanis kissed Issac's forehead. She giggled at what he said.

Gemma, Jude, Phoenix, and Asher walked over to Alanis. Hayden tried crawling over there, but Paige picked him up.
Gemma, Jude, and Phoenix Hugged Alanis.

They parted and Alanis looked at Asher.
She smiled and waved.
"Hey Asher."
Asher blushed and stuttered.
"H-hi."

Luke hollered to Asher.
"Don't just stand their Asher!"
Courtney stepped on Luke's foot.
"Ouch!" Luke yelled.
Courtney smiled Innocently.
"Love you!"

Alanis giggled and hugged Asher. They parted and Alanis walked over to Moriah and Joel.
"I missed ya'll so much, I needed to visit you guys."
Moriah Smiles.
"We missed you so much, Lani. We're happy you came to visit."

Alanis smiled, then it turned into a smirk. She grabbed Joel and Moriah's wrists and pulled them to the party.

They had fun, as a complete family again. Sadly, it had to end. Morgan came and picked Alanis up.

But, at least they were together for at least five hours, and although it was not that much, it felt like a life time to Joel and Moriah.
