The light from the sun rising shined brightly threw the window like it did morning. I would always wake snuggled up next to my sister and in my mothers tabby fur. She was always up before us. She would wait for us to wake every morning. Everything seemed normal. All mornings happened like this.

   Once my sister, Cloud woke we would go play around the house. "Let's play hide and seek!" Cloud meowed loudly. "Shhh... you don't want to wake the humans." Our mother warned. "Sorry..." We quietly called back. "I'll go hide!" Cloud explained. "Fine..." I always loved to hide. The seeking part always seemed hard to me, but I was the one to hide last. "1....2......3......."

   "30!!!" I meowed then ran off to find her. I looked in all her usual hiding spots and didn't find her. I then heard the dog barking. Mama then got up and rushed over to where the dog was. I followed her. When we got there the dog was barking at the door. Cloud wasn't hiding anymore and came out from under the pillows on the couch. I ran over to her and joined her on the couch. "I wonder who's at the door?" Could asked. "I don't know." I meowed in response.

After the new humans came in the ones who took care of us gave us some toys to play with. We rolled around and attack as many of them as we possibly could. A young girl human grabbed the stick of one of the toys and began to shake it. I ignored it and kept playing with my ball. Cloud though jumped right in and started to try and grab it from the sky. Once he grabbed it one of the humans asked "So Lily, which one do you want?"

"I like the cute white one the best! She so playful and cute!" She explained in a happy cheerful voice. "We will adopted the white one please."

Then after a while they left. They took Cloud and left no evidence that she was even here before.
