When night fell I went out into the kitchen. I noticed that the window was left open. This was my chance! I thought to myself. I climbed up onto the windowsill and slid threw the window out into the yard. It was just as I left it, except dark and more frightening. I had never been out in the night before. Even though the stars where pretty the darkness and shadows covered the yard and made me feel as if something could jump out at me at any second.

   I ran over to the fence and began to pull on it. Every once and a while I would stop for a brake then start working again.

   Soon enough I had pushed it far enough for me to slip threw the fence. Then I stopped and realized I didn't even know where she was anymore. Cloud could be anywhere. She could be next door or even days away from me. I soon realized there was no way of finding her. She was gone forever like mama said. I could feel the tears as they began to run down my fur. I was about to give up.

   "What's wrong little kit?" I heard a voice ask. I turn around to see a fluffy tabby tom sitting behind me. "The ... the humans took my sister away... and I want to find her again, but... but I can't." I answered the best I could. "Was your sister a white kit?" He then asked. I nodded my head as I started to brighten up. Maybe he knew where they took her! I thought to myself. "I know the people that took your sister."
