It had been a week sense Cloud left. And like always everything happened the same, but this time I never saw my sister in their morning. I never played with her and I never did anything with here.

   "Mama, where's Cloud? Is she coming back?" I asked. "No, she isn't coming back. She has a new home where she will be safe and happy." My mother explained the best she could. "But why?" I cried out. "Because she has her own people to take care of. The people she lives with now need her, they may not have a cat or dog but we have both. They need her more." She meowed. " But I want her here! She's my sister! Not there's!" I meowed then ran off. We where going to stay together always, for the rest of our lives. We where going to be happy.

   I ran to the living room. I went over to me and Clouds hiding spot. The hiding spot was under the couch. We would talk about the fun things we did or any things that bothered us. I just went and cried. There was no one to talk to. Mother didn't seem to care that the humans had just taken her daughter, The dog would just sit there and bark at me, and the humans seemed happy that she was gone. I was alone, but I wasn't going to leave her.

   Soon after we ate the humans let us outside. The yard was big, but it was fenced off so we couldn't leave. I had to find some way to get out and back to Cloud. I ran over to the fence and began to look for a way out.

   After walking along the fence for a while I came across a opening. I tried to sneak threw it, but it was to small. I then tried to pull on the loose wood. I had to pull really hard to get it to move, but it didn't move enough. It was still to small. "What are you doing Dew?" I heard my mom calling. I saw a leaf close by and started to play with it. "Just playing with this leaf!" I meowed trying to sound joyful so she wouldn't question me. "Alright, I'm glad your staying out of trouble."

   After that she watched me until it was time to come in. I didn't get to mess with the fence anymore. I would have to try and work on it later, before the humans had a chance to notice and fix it.
