It was the summer of 1967, and a super sunny one of that. Young, attractive, 17 year old Robin Johnson had just started walking home from the local convenience store up the road. Robin loved any kind of walking or exercise, it made her feel alert. She also loved going outside.
Robin was the quiet one out of her friends, who was a very deep thinker, with green eyes and long sand-brown hair. Robin didn't like wearing makeup because she felt people would only treat her nicely if she looked a certain way. Her friend Julie on the other hand, loved makeup and wore it heavily. Thick mascara above her brown eyes. Her short dark brown curls laying in a bob around her beautifully tanned face. Then there was Lisa, with long blonde hair in a flip style and shy blue eyes. Robin had known Lisa for a long time and knew she had it the hardest. As a child Lisa was abused by her mom and on top of that was suffering through poverty. As a result, some girls picked on her. That was how Robin met Lisa. Back in elementary school, when a bullying session was occurring with Lisa as the victim, Robin for once broke her silence and stood up for her. Ever since then, Robin protected Lisa and the two had been the best of friends. They didn't end up meeting Julie until she moved into the neighborhood in middle school. After that it was always the three of them. Always there for each other, NO MATTER WHAT.
