I'm choosing Nick Bateman as Kyle Stephan's!!

Noah's P.O.V.

"Can I come in Mr Calvin", I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in Eva", I replied.

Eva came inside with a small smile on her face. It had been a week that she had signed the divorce papers and today she's going to a dinner with me, Aria and Kyle. I wonder why Kyle is so persistent in going out with Eva.

"Yes, Miss. Peterson?", I asked.

"I want to ask, have you started taking interviews for your new assistant?", She asked.

"No, I hadn't. I don't have any time you know that", I replied.

"Ok. Can I do it for you?", She asked.

"When are you leaving?", I asked.

"Next month", she said biting her lower lip.

"Oh, ok. Fine, you go ahead and take interviews", I said and she smiled back at me.

"Thanks. I should go now", she said and turned to leave the room.

"I'll pick you up for the dinner", I said.

"No need. Mr Kyle is picking me up", she said and left.

She was quiet. It had been so many days that I hadn't seen that talkative girl who always smile and can even bring life in a lifeless statue also. Her smile was contagious and now when she's all so boring and normal, I ain't liking it. What's wrong with me?

I got ready for the dinner and drove to Aria's place to pick her. On the way, I saw Kyle's car parked outside Eva's building. I know that boy, he's not trustworthy and I really hope that he doesn't harm Eva in any way. She's a nice girl and she doesn't deserve any heartbreak. She's the girl who knew how to be happy outside even when she's sad and broken inside, that makes her different from others.

I picked up Aria and we moved to the restaurant and waited for Kyle and Eva to come.

"So, did you hear anything about Eva?", Aria asked settling herself on the chair.

"What are you talking about?", I asked.

"Kyle likes her. I mean, I'm trying to make him understand that she's not the right girl for him but he's not letting her go", she said.

"But Eva loves her husband. She won't love Kyle ever", I replied.

"Please Noah", Aria chuckled and rolled her eyes and said, "Girl kneeled down in front of my brother. He knows how to wrap girls around his fingertip".

"But Eva is not any girl. She's different and that's what makes her special. She's the one who will smile to make you happy whilst inside she may be a crying river. She's too strong but weak at the same time. She's the one who knows how to pick her up when she falls down, she's just a totally different person ", I said as if I've known her for years.

"You're talking as if she's your girlfriend. Why am I feeling that you're attracted by her?", Aria asked with a grimace.

"I ain't Aria. I'm just telling my views", I said.

"Ok, I trust you. I know she doesn't have any quality in her which could make you fall for her", she said with a smile.

I like Aria because she doesn't have those qualities of jealousy and stalking her boyfriend which normal girlfriends have. She's very understanding but whatever she said about Eva didn't please me. I wanted to ask her to not disrespect Eva but stayed quiet unable to find a reason to defend Eva and upset Aria.

"She's leaving next month for America", I said trying to change the topic still keeping it to Eva. What an. Irony!!

"Why?", She asked.

"She's leaving forever, Aria", I said making her understand.

"Oh, well it's good then. At least Kyle would get over her then, I'm worried for my brother", she said and I just passed a tight smile.

She doesn't understand Eva. I also don't understand her, she's a stranger to me still my heart felt that she's one of the innocent and pure soul I've ever met. I mean how often you found any stranger talking to you nicely even when you're nothing but rude to them. She knows the meaning of Sacrifice and I really want to help her.

She calls me her friend, funny though. Here I'm not able to remove the tag of the stranger from her name and she had given me the right to be her friend.

"I don't know what is taking them so long?", Aria said looking at the watch and I just nodded.

"They'll come soon", I said looking at the entrance.

Where are you, Miss. Rose?

I saw Eva and Kyle coming together but the looks on their faces were different. On one hand, Kyle was smiling or can say grinning like a fool, Eva had an angry look on her face. Her face explains her emotions, she doesn't know how to hide feelings.

"Hey", I said looking at both of them.

"Hey", Eva said and Kyle responded same.

They both sat down in front of me and Aria and I called the waiter for orders.

"So what caught you two that you took so long?", Aria asked and Eva sends a death glare to Kyle.

"Oh, nothing. Just girls and their obsession for makeup. Miss. Rose take so much time in getting ready", Kyle said and I just felt a bit surprised as he called Eva with a name I had given to her.

So? You've not patented that name, my mind said.

"Miss. Rose?", Aria chuckled.

"I didn't take time in getting ready. We're searching for roses but almost every shop was closed", Eva said with a sigh and a smile formed its way onto my lips.

She can never get over roses!!

"Why do you need roses?", Aria asked again.

"To propose me obviously", Kyle said before Eva.

"In your dreams Mr Kyle, that's not gonna happen ever. I just wanted to buy Roses, no reason behind it", Eva said feeling a bit embarrassed so I decided to speak now.

"She loves roses. She always keeps them with her, they're her lucky charms", I said and Eva smiled at me as if thanking me.

"So Eva, I heard you're leaving for America?", Aria asked. Eva glanced at me first and then nodded at Aria.

"Yes, you heard right. My work over here is done so I want to go back. That's my hometown and I'm missing it a lot", Eva spoke and Aria smiled tightly at her. Aria looked at me and gave me 'is she crazy' look. I smiled inwardly.

This is like Eva. She's way too friendly and one moment a person talks nicely to her, she'll keep her heart out for them.

"Don't worry, I'll join you there also", Kyle said and I saw Eva rolling her eyes.

"I'll be back in a minute", Eva said and left for the washroom.

"I'll come with you", Aria said and Eva nodded.

Once they left, I focused my attention on Kyle. I need to tell him not to hurt Eva because she's really a nice girl.

"Kyle I want to talk to you", I said.

"Me too", he said.

"It's something related to Eva", I said.

"Yeah, I also want to talk about her only", he said.

"What's that?", I asked.

"I guess I'm falling for her", Kyle said and I choked in the air.

"Excuse me?", I asked.

"Yeah, she's affecting me and gosh I love that. You know Noah, this girl is totally worth a fight", Kyle said and I just looked at him blankly.

"Are you serious?", I asked unsurely.

"Totally. I wanted her to make mine", he said.

"But what makes you like her in a week. I mean you knew her for some seven days only. How is it possible for someone to fall for anyone in a week only?", I asked.

And I know her more than you. I know her from past two months but I never fall for her then how could you? I mentally asked.

"I don't know. The first time she came inside my cabin and a look on her face and my heart skipped a beat. It's not the beauty of her face but her eyes. They're sad but her smile was there on her lips. I can read people very easily Noah but she was a puzzle to me. I tried to make her laugh all the time but she just didn't respond to me. The more she was repelling me the more I was attracted to her", Kyle said and I kept looking at him listening to him.

"Do you ever get jealous so much that like 'no that person is mine, stay away from them and don't even look at them also'?", Kyle asked.

"I don't get jealous easily", I said.

"Yes and that's what I used to think about myself also but with Eva, I'm jealous. I'm super jealous, I don't even want anyone to look at her. I just want to hide her in my arms and prevent her from all harms", Kyle said.

"What are you talking Kyle? Don't you use to like independent and confident girls? Why are saying so cheesy lines?", I asked not liking the idea of him being so much caring for Eva.

"Because she's like a sacred doll to me. She's like the most expensive possession which needs extra attention, Noah. She's strong, she had her own kind of quality but her this quality of being weak is making me more mad for her", Kyle said and I remained silent.

"I've realised that there's nothing wrong in being weak sometimes. I'm a strong person still sometimes I need someone who could just hold my hand, hug me and tell me that's everything is ok. It felt so good, it felt like home", Kyle said.

I don't know but I couldn't feel those words which he was saying. I've been in so long relationship with Aria but not a single day I've felt so much possessiveness for her. Don't I love her? Or is my way of thinking is way too mature than Kyle?

Eva's P.O.V.

I moved along with Aria to the washroom. The whole week his brother kept on annoying me, one and only Kyle Stephan's. Whenever he wants he just showed up at my place to persuade me to go on a date with him. I was already sad after signing the divorce papers but he doesn't care about it.

Still, a little part of me is thankful to him although for being there with me at that time when I was all alone. He heard my problems and supported me which I'm highly thankful for. He's different from Mr Orchid is every way.

He's more of a happy go lucky nature and knows how to make someone smile whilst on other hand is Mr Orchid who is way too professional. He hardly knows the meaning of friendship I guess. I wanted him to at least talk to me about how am I but no he thinks that we're strangers. I can't blame him also because I haven't set a good image of mine in his eyes.

I did my business and when I came out Aria was touching up her makeup. She's another name of perfection that's why she's with Noah. They both complete each other.

"Shall we?", I asked after washing my hands.

"No, I need to talk to you", she said.

"Yeah", I said unsurely.

"Look Eva, I know that we don't have good terms with each other and to be honest I really don't like you because you and me don't just click but I'm not a spoilt brat who would do anything to harm you just because I dislike you", she said looking at me with confidence in her voice.

"Why are you telling me this?", I asked.

"Because my brother had started liking you and I'm worried for him a lot. He had a bad past Eva and he ain't that lucky to have a true love ever. The girl he used to love ditched him and after that, I've not seen him crazy for anyone but YOU", she looked at me in a judgmentally way and I just nodded.

She sighed and turned around and looked at me through the mirror and said, "If you don't like him then don't give him false hopes. Just let him go and stay away from his life and from him before it's too late. He's falling for you Eva and I don't want him to broke down again. I love him, hope you understood", she again asked and I nodded.

"I understood", I said and she gave me a small smile and we both left the washroom.

She may have a negative opinion towards me but she's a caring little sister!!
