Bliss' POV

The first thing I did when I woke up was run to the bathroom. After washing my hands and brushing my teeth, I went ahead and got myself a shower. Well, I thought I was going to be by myself.

I heard the shower door slide open. "Mind if I join you?"

"You are already in here, so why not? Good morning, Lover Boy."

My, um, shower took a little longer than expected. 

Now that I am pregnant, I am going to feel shorter while wearing flat shoes. Not to mention, my clothes are feeling snug. After getting dressed, I went to get something to eat.

As soon as I entered the kitchen, I smelled bacon, eggs, pancakes, and coffee. "Good morn....."

I promptly made a mad dash to the bathroom and threw up again. After washing my hands and brushing my teeth again, I rubbed my belly. "Please, little one, let mama keep some food down."

I saw Shane and stopped him. "Shane, I can't go in the kitchen. The smell of the eggs and bacon makes me nauseous."

"What would you like to eat?"

"Can you get me pancakes and a small cup of coffee, please? I'll be in the dining room."

"Of course, Shortie." While walking past me, I squeezed his tushie, then made my way to the dining room.

Mase, Rihanna, Andrea, Aris, Kevin, Carly, and Julian were in there.

"Good morning, everyone." Rihanna held out her arms, so I went to pick her up. "Hi, sweetie." Then, I kissed her and sat down at the table. She started giggling when I tickled her.

Shane came in with a plate of pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream, sausage, and a cup of coffee. "Is the sausage okay?"

"It's fine. Thanks, Shane."

"You're welcome." He said it with a devious grin on his face as he sat down next to me on the right. Uh-oh, he is about to do something. I moved Rihanna to my left leg and did not touch the coffee yet. That was a mistake. As I started eating the pancakes, I felt his hand slowly move up my thigh. I couldn't yelp or move. Every time I smacked his hand, he kept putting it back.

"Sorry, Bliss, about the eggs and bacon," mom said while she and Brently came to sit with us.

"That's okay, mom. The pancakes are delicious. Thank you."

Shane's hand then went towards my girl. I couldn't help it, so I let out a moan and slightly lifted out of my chair. "Oh my goodness!"

Everybody looked at me, and he grinned. "These pancakes are just so delicious." I had to play it off, even though the pancakes were delicious. Wait until later. Shane is going to get it.

"What are everyone's plans for the day?" Mom asked everyone.

"For me, I am working at home. Then, Shane and I are going out to lunch and seeing the yachts. You guys have to come with us to see them."

"Mason, Rihanna, and I are going house hunting. Before going to bed last night, I searched online and found a few not too far from here."

"Hey, Andrea and Mason, you can pick one of the trucks you would like to drive. I'll get the keys for you."

"The Range Rover will be fine. Thanks, Bliss."

"You're welcome."

"Let's go get the keys for your mommy, Ree." "Game on, Shane." As I walked past him, I pinched his butt this time. He jumped a little out of his seat.

My bag was still in the foyer from yesterday, so I went there and grabbed the keys out of my bag. Then we went back into the dining room.

"Here are the keys, Andrea."

"Thanks." This time I put Rihanna on my right leg. Shane couldn't go there this time.

"Shane, we need to stop back at that restaurant we went to at the Miami conference. It was called The Waterfront Taste. Remember how Mama Rosa and I spoke in Italian?" He thinks he is slick. He put his arm on the back of my chair and moved his hand to my tushie. I can't do anything because I have Ree in my lap.

"Yes, I remember."

"Well, she thought we were married at the time. When I told her we weren't, she said, and I quote, 'I see love in his eyes for you. One day, you are going to come back here and tell me that you are married. I can feel it. Mama Rosa is never wrong.' Not only are we married, but also expecting a child. I want to go there for lunch today. And I need to go shopping for maternity clothes because my outfit this morning is a little snug. So, I am guessing the same thing for the rest of my closet."

"It's a date."

"Well, I'll see everyone later. I am going to my office and get some work done before lunch."

I sat Rihanna in her Uncle Shane's lap, then headed to my office.

Before I got started, I called my P.A. and told her that I was working from home this week and I would send her the work I would need her to do via email. I was able to get about two hours of work accomplished. While typing away at my computer, Shane came in with a couple of blankets and locked the door.

"Uh, no, we are not, mister. I have work to do." Shane came over and started massaging my shoulders.

"Stop doing that. You know what that does to me. I missed working last week. And that floor is cold." Then, he took my hands and lifted me out of the chair. Now, he was sitting in the chair, and then he sat me in his lap.

Shane wrapped his arms around me, pressing me into his chest and kissing the heck out of me.

I tried to push away but was unsuccessful. "You know, in a few months, I won't be able to sit like this because of my protruding belly."

"We will worry about that then. Now, I want to be with my baby's mama."

Uh-oh. "Uh, Shane, baby mama needs to puke. Like, right now. Daddy's urges are just going to have to wait." I got up and ran to the bathroom and made it in there just in time. It felt like my whole breakfast came out.

"What in the world will this kid let me keep down?" I thoroughly washed my hands and brushed my teeth. Then, I went back to my office.

Shane was still sitting in the chair, so I resumed my position, sitting in his lap. "I wish this baby would let me keep something down. I feel like I have not eaten anything at all since yesterday." I rested my head on Shane's shoulder like it was a pillow, and he started rubbing my belly.

"Darling, do you still want to go to lunch?"

"Yes, I do. I can try to eat some soup or something. I am going to lie down until we leave the house for lunch."

"Of course. I'll come to get you when it is time to leave." We got up out of the chair and walked out of my office. Shane went to his office, and I went to lie on the bed.

When Shane came to wake me up, it was approaching 1:00 pm. So, I got up, freshened up a little bit, then we left the house.

Once we arrived at the hotel where the restaurant was, Shane gave the valet his truck keys. Then, he helped me out, and we walked, with our hands laced together, towards the restaurant.

"Welcome to the Waterfront Taste. How many for your party?"

"Just me and my husband." The hostess recognized who we were but kept it to herself. She led us to a table with a window view of the Miami sea.

"Mr. and Mrs. Landes, your waiter, will be with you shortly. I knew who you were, but I also wanted to respect your privacy. Please let me know if this is okay and if anyone bothers you."

"This is great. And thank you so much for considering our privacy. I do have one request. Is Mama Rosa here? I wanted to surprise her. We were here three years ago. At the time, we were not married. But, I remember her saying that one day we would return to let her know we got married."

"She sure is. I'll be right back." The waiter came over and took our drink and food orders. I ordered Sausage and white bean soup and ginger ale. Shane ordered Beef Tenderloins Con Balsamico with risotto.

Shortly after we placed our orders, Mama Rosa and her husband came over.

"Mamma Rosa, è bello rivederti. Ti ricordi che l'ultima volta che ti abbiamo visitato hai detto che sarei tornato a dirti che ero sposata? (Mama Rosa, it is good to see you again. Remember the last time we visited you said I would come back telling you I was married?)"

She sure did remember because the next thing that happened was me being drawn into a bear hug.

"Congratulazioni per il tuo matrimonio! Sapevo che sarebbe successo. Vedo lo stesso amore nei suoi occhi ora come facevo allora." (Congratulations on your wedding! I knew it would happen. I see the same love in his eyes now as I did back then.)

"Grazie, mamma Rosa. E abbiamo un'altra sorpresa. Ho scoperto poche settimane fa che sono incinta del nostro primo figlio." (Thank you, Mama Rosa. And we have another surprise. I found out a few weeks ago that I am pregnant with our first child.)

"Congratulazioni, mia cara. Prenditi cura di lei, mi senti?" (Congratulations, my dear. Take good care of her, you hear me?)

"Shane, Mama Rosa said, 'Take good care of her, you hear me?'"

"Tell her that I promise."

"Ha detto che promette, mamma Rosa." (He said he promises, Mama Rosa.)

She went over to pinch Shane's cheeks. "Buono. E mantienila così. Grazie per esserti fermato e tornare di nuovo." (Good. And keep it that way. Thank you for stopping by and come back again.)

"Di sicuro lo faremo." (We sure will.) Then, Mama Rosa and her husband left our table. Our food came out, and we enjoyed our lunch date. Shane had to order another meal because, uh, I ate his and my soup.

Once we were done with our lunch, Shane paid for it, and we left to see the yachts. As we approached the pier, Shane told me to close my eyes.

Shane's POV

After stepping out of the truck, I went to help Bliss out. Then, we walked over to her yacht first.

"S-Shane, that is mine?! That is huge!"

"Wait until you see the inside. It is a penthouse on the water. And, the one over to the right is what I got for myself."

"Wow! That is huge also! And it even has a helipad for a helicopter."

"Let's tour yours first."

"It has a master bedroom, a bedroom with twin beds, and three additional bedrooms. The master bedroom has its own bathroom. There are three other bathrooms. It also has a kitchen, living room, dining room, and an entertainment room for your guests."

"I need to sit down because my legs are about to give out."

"Give me your hand." Then, we walked over to the couch.

"Oh my gosh, Shane, I love it. Thank you, Lover Boy. Now that I have the yacht, can you help me set up my first charity event? It breaks my heart when I see homeless people on the streets, especially mothers with children. Our baby will have the comforts that one can only dream of. I want to create shelters and centers where not only can homeless adults get to be comfortable in a nice, warm place, but also for kids to have a place to play and have fun."

"Of course, I will help you, Darling. How about I call my entertainment company to get working on it for you for the Spring?"

"The Spring is perfect. Thanks."

"Anything for you, Darling. Let's go tour the other yacht."

"But we haven't finished with this one yet." She stood up, and the dress came off.

"There is a brand-new king-size bed downstairs that needs to be broken in. Carry me downstairs and ravish me, 'Daddy to be.'"

I quickly called the house, telling everyone that we would not be home until the next day. Like the obedient husband I was, I granted my queen her request by carrying her downstairs and tearing her up on the yacht.

Narrator's POV

Bliss and Shane not only broke into her yacht, but the next day they did the same thing on his yacht. After their two-day stay away from the house, Shane took Bliss shopping for maternity clothes, and then they made their way home.

They also talked with Mason about getting Bliss two bodyguards. Mason had connections, and he was able to get two bodyguards for Bliss. They would be available immediately.

The day that Bliss and Shane were waiting for finally arrived. Today they find out if their bundle of joy is a boy or a girl.

Bliss' POV

Today is the day we couldn't wait for. We find out if we are having a boy or a girl. Shane and I agreed that if it were a boy, he would have a name picked out. If it is a girl, I have a name picked out. I still have morning sickness, but not as often as in the past few weeks.

Grandma Adrian talked us into doing a gender reveal party. So, she sent invites to everyone for the 18th. We gave her the names we picked out. She is coming with us so that the doctor can give her the results.

"Bliss and Shane, are you ready to see what your baby is?"

"Grandma Landes wanted to throw a gender reveal party, so can the sonogram be given to her? She is in the waiting room."

"Of course. I will have the nurse give her the results. Let's get started." I lifted my shirt so Doctor Andrews could put that cold gel over my belly. I started shivering as soon as she rubbed it on me.

"Bliss and Shane, the ultrasound testing should take about thirty minutes. We will check to see how many babies you are carrying and what the gender is."

I heard Shane quietly say, "Please do not be twins."

I mouthed to him, "I hope so too."

Ten minutes into the ultrasound, Doctor Andrews could see the baby. "This little one is stubborn. There's the heartbeat. Look at the monitor and see your baby. And you are just pregnant with a single baby. And I know the gender as well. So, I will have the nurse give the sonogram to grandma. Since the last visit, you have lost a few pounds."

"I just recently started morning sickness. It has been bad since the first Sunday of this month. Should we be concerned about morning sickness coming at three months? For the last few days, I haven't vomited. I have been able to keep food down."

"Morning sickness can last through your 20th week of pregnancy. Or, it can even last through your entire pregnancy. Here is what I want you to do. I will make an appointment for you for a month from today, which will be January 13th, 2022. I want you to keep a journal for me. But, if your morning sickness stops or worsens before that time, give me a call and let me know."

"Okay, I can do that."

"For today, everything is going great, and I can hear grandma out in the hall, so I am going to say the nurse gave her the sonogram. You can get dressed now, and that will be all for today. Enjoy the rest of the day, Mr. & Mrs. Landes."

The doctor left the room. I sat up on the bed for a bit.

"We can go shopping on Sunday for baby things."

"I'm okay with that. Right now, we are hungry, so daddy, let's go to lunch."

I got off the hospital bed, and we walked out of the room to be greeted by a grinning grandma. Adrian skipped the whole way to the elevator. Shane and I looked at each other, then laughed.

"Mum, would you like to join us for lunch?"

"I have party planning to do for Saturday. You both enjoy your lunch. Shane, you know how I am with a first child and planning parties."

She came over and rubbed my belly. "Saturday, Nana gets to tell everyone your name, little one. Can't wait!!"

We took a short elevator ride to the lobby, then walked to our vehicles.

"Enjoy the rest of your day, Bliss and Shane."

Adrian is right - Saturday needs to be here already. I can't wait.
