Crunch
Crunch
Crunch
Crunch
The snow crunched under their feet with every step they took. The air began to feel a little thin as they were walking home together from school. It was really foggy but it looked beautiful to Miss Believer. The plowed road had another layer of snow covering
"The snow," Miss Believer said.
"It's like," Ruby paused.
"Colder." Miss Believer finished. "I'll see you tomorrow Ruby."
"Later." Ruby turned off the snowy sidewalk and into the driveway of her two story house, her naturally dark, red hair covering most of her face.
Miss. Believer held her head high through the eerie setting, despite the fact she was alone for the rest of her journey home. Never did she dare to have the world defeat her. Never did she dare to hang her head low in defeat and let her blonde hair cover her icy blue eyes.
Miss Believer kept walking for maybe two more minutes, humming a very familiar song when she heard a voice to the left of her.
"My pretty sleeper your twisted mind, is like snow in the roads." Whoever was singing had a beautiful voice. Miss Believer stopped so she could listen to the rest.
"Your shaking shoulders prove that it's colder inside your head, than the winter of dead."
Miss Believer started to slowly walk towards the warm, soft voice singing. Through the tall, white trees, she knew that there was a bench nearby. She used to play there with Ruby when they were young.
"I will tell you I-i-i love you but the muffs on your ears will cater your fears."
The singing grew louder as Miss Believer grew near.
"My nose and feet are running as we start to travel through snow, together we goo-o."
Miss Believer finally was able to peek through the trees and see a person sitting on a small bench alone.
The person had short messy brown hair that looked pretty fluffy. Despite the cold, the pale skinned person, who was possibly a boy, wore black skinny jeans with a black hoodie that displayed the body of a skeleton.
She observed the possible boy from a far distance and realized that she never did hear that he was playing an instrument. He cradled a small brown ukelele in his arms as he sat ups strait, strumming it slowly and soothingly.
'I bet Ruby knows how to play one of those.' Miss Believer thought to herself. Deep inside her mind, she was debating weather or not she should talk to the person or not.
The person seemed peaceful and she didn't want to disturb him or her or it, but she's also never seen him before. She knew everyone in the small town so who was this newbie.
Miss Believer sighed, brushing away the thoughts that the person was here to hurt someone. She pushed her hair behind her shoulders, he bright blue eyes shining bright.
Walking cautiously forward, the girl slowly approached the person.
"That was beautiful." She stated, startling the person. He gasped and looked up with the face of a baby deer in the middle of the street.
"Oh....t-thanks." the person said, smiling bashfully.
