Two stoned hearts, scratching each other, sparking the flames of heaven
One wrong move and you got to start from scratch again
Replacing it is like finding a change of metaphor, only that it's a synonym
Removes the skin along when rubbing it off, a stain so permanent
Yet a crime of infidelity with the future on the present
This mosaicked feeling is a sad poetry lyric finished with ellipses

The lessons are just silent cries and unanswered whys
A mistake, mistaken with mistake at first sight
Romantic stories, a collage of broken loves with no spoilers
A black and white emotion, a memory never making it to the future
Only ever preserving the urns of the ashes but never of the lover

A feeling only echoing when it's a solid stone of feels
