Haruka felt broke. 'Why did Rin get hit? Why'd he help me and not himself? Will he be okay? Just.. Why Rin?' The male played with his fingers, feeling angry at himself for not being able to do anything to aid his friend in pain.

While Rin was with multiple doctors, Haru sat in the waiting room. Helpless. Worried. And depressed.

The hospitals environment made many noises that would make anyone lose there mind. In some rooms there was screaming, weeping, beeping and multiple other loud noises that made Haruka want to curl up into a ball.

"I hate this place.." He muttered to himself as he decided to lift up his phone so he wouldn't become crazy from his surroundings and the pain he felt of his own buddy in the hospital, unaware about what they're doing to him.

Small buzzes started to spring from Harus phone. 'Man, so many crap comes to my phone when Rins in a close to death situation' he thought coldly as he opened up a notification from Makoto. 'Swim Practice at 10PM!'

Haru read the message from his swim captain and close friend as he rolled his eyes. Nanase knew not to tell Makoto or anyone else because he knew Rin hated the overwhelming attention. But so did Haru so he understood why.

'Cant make it, Im house sitting' Haru sent a message back to Makoto but sighed. He hated lying to him but he knew what he had to do. After he sent the message, he looked up at the clock. It was slowly ticking. The hand reached 9:20am and he hated it. Its been longer then an hour for them here and he just wanted to see Rin okay and not stuck in a hospital.

Finally, Haru placed his phone down but suddenly, it buzzed in his palm. With a cold sigh, he lifted it up and glared at his device. It was Sousuke. Haru remembered what happened between Sousuke and Rin before the accident. Why was he texting him at a time like this?

As Haruka read the note to himself he was beginning to get confused. 'Hey Nanase. I've known Rin for a long so I know he went to you after our fight. If you could, I would appreciate it if you could tell me where he is. Arigato'

What the hell? Was all that Haruka could think. He began to feel angry. 'Why should he know where Rin is? Rin was out running because he was worried about the fight and thats how the bus hit him'. If Haruka wasn't in a hospital, he would scream in rage.

When he lifted up the phone, he texted Sousuke back with his eyebrows creased in disapprovment. 'Sorry, but Rin isn't in the condition of chatting with you. Have a good day and dont get involved with him anymore. I dont have the tolerance'. Haru quickly sent the message back to Sousuke as he heard his name being called.

"Mr.Nanase? Matsuoka Rin is ready for people to see him" a bubbly nurse called as Haru nearly fell from his seat as he sprung up and followed the nurse. She led him to a room that smelt like rubbing alcohol. As she held the door open for him, Haruka peered his head through and glanced in before his shuffled in. A doctor was in front of Rin so Haru couldn't see the conditions.

"Um, is Rin alright?" Haruka called flatly as the doctor swiftly turned around "oh hello Mr.Nanase" the doctor warmly smiled to the black haired male. Haru nodded back, he never smiled so it became awkward.

"Can you move a b-bit doc?" A familiar voice was heard behind the doctor from the bed. "Oh um. Yes" the doctor mumbled and walked away from Rins place in bed. Seeing Rin like this... Made Harus heart hurt.

"Y-you okay?..." Haru asked and gazed at Rin. Rin just gave a nod with a smile but his smile wasn't as vibrant as it used to be.

Rin didn't look okay. The shark like male had a whole cast on his left leg that went to his foot all the way up to his thigh. Multiple wrappings of bandages were on his right leg and both arms with some wrapped onto his neck. On his face, was a black eye and a huge cut across his cheek which they just patched up with a gauze bandage. This wasn't happening. This couldn't be happening...

"I-I-I..." Haruka began to talk as his eyes started to water again and he rushed over to Rins side. Rin chuckled lightly but it turned into a cough. "Ugh, god damn ribs.." He mumbled and looked up but still sat up and gave Haru a hug.

Haruka 's eyes widened as he hugged Rin gently "wait what happened to your ribs?" He asked but felt as if he would regret asking later.

The doctor looked at the two boys and cleared his throat. "His rib cage was shattered but we fixed it. His left leg is difinetley torn to shreds but otherwise, hell be fine." He stated as he lifted up a small stack of papers and flipped through them. "Anyways, he cant be home alone. I see he has a roommate. His name is Sousuke correct?" He looked up from the papers as Rin nodded and Haru growled. "Change that because Rins gonna live with me until he is all healed." He sealed the converstation with that as the doctor nodded and scribbled it down on a sheet of document he had form the pile.

Rin was surprised, "Haru I cant bother you like that, Sousuke can watch me. No worries" he said but then quickly quieted himself because he was exhausted. "No Rin. Sousuke literally beat you up before you started running for hours! Your living with me and thats that! Even if you like it or not!" He screamed, starting to get annoyed as Matsuoka widened his eyes and nodded slowly.

The doctor noted the conversation then cleared his throat "he cant be in his swim club for a while. Dont let him swim or do anything that could risk his health. Understood Nanase?" The doctor asked and Haruka nodded quickly "yes, of course"

Rin pouted a little and crossed his arms gently "Ill be fine, seriously." He muttered as Haru walked to him and sighed. "Well, we will wheel you out on a Wheel chair and take some crutches just incase." Haru told him straight out as Rin looked up at him and nodded "um but hey, can I sleep on the way to your place?" He asked quietly. Rin didn't look well so of course, Haru nodded "yes Rin, get some rest".

The doctor went to a near by supplies closet and pulled out a wheel chair and a pair of crutches. As he walked back to the two males he placed the wheel chair down, ready for Rin as Haru turned the wheel chair to face there direction and he crouchtched down little.

"Okay, ready Rin?" Haru asked as Rin nodded his head slowly. Nanase lowered his arms under Rins arms and hauled him into the wheel chair gently. Rin cringed then sat down in the chair and let out a deep breath. "Okay, thanks doc" he mumbled as his eyes began to close.

The doctor smiled and looked to the boys. Haru bowed twice, for the both of them and started to haul Rin out of the hospital. "Thank god.." Haru muttered and continued to wheel The red haired male home. He smiled lightly. Rin looked so peaceful being asleep for once while Haruka pushed the wheel chair along until they reached his house. When they reached his house, Haru put his key into the door and opened it. He rolled Rin in perfectly silent and rolled him to the bedroom. He parked the wheel chair by the bed and helped Rin onto the bed as he remained asleep.

Haru smiled softly as he pulled the covers onto him gently but swiftly. "Rest well Rin.." He mumbled and rubbed his head gently again when a small smile came to Rins face.

Haru exited the room to keep quiet for Rin and made his way to his kitchen. He sighed and leaned onto the counter and heard a loud buzz again from his phone. It was another message from Sousuke.

'Im getting to your house Nanase, prepare yourself ' Haru read the message to himself with a straight face as he cleared his throat and then decided to answer with one sentence

'Oh, I'm ready'.
