Snake

Just like a snake she slithered,
into my heart
She tore it apart
Pain stinging my eyes like a blizzard.

Just like a wolf she howled
She howled through the night
My eyes where shut tight
Thoughts out of sync and out loud.

Just like an bug she was crushed
Filled with such hate
Couldn't take the weight
Our silent I love You's where hushed

Just like a stone she drowned
The waves were to strong
She couldn't swim along             
Our love was torn-down to the ground

Just like a bird she flew
up and away
Left early that day
And just like a snake she slithered away
