XIV. RELATIONSHIPS

CHAPTER FOURTEEN:
RELATIONSHIPS
★- ★- ★

ATLAS KNEW THAT CALUM AND EMERSON MIGHT NOT BE THE HAPPIEST WHEN THEY SAW HIM ALONGSIDE DAWN AT THE QUIDDITCH WORLD CUP. HE ALSO HAD A FEELING THIS MIGHT CAUSE SOME ANGRY WORDS FROM EMERSON AND ANGRY THOUGHTS FROM CALUM.

However, in this exact moment, Atlas couldn't give a flying fuck about how his friends felt because the look on his girlfriend's face made it worth it when they entered the campsite for the match. He was sure later on he would face the consequences of what he did.

He'd probably feel guilty for not asking his friends if it was okay for Dawn to join but he didn't think there would be that big of a problem. Although Calum wouldn't say anything even if he did find it wrong, Emerson would though.

The two of them stood at the entrance of the campsite, listening to the shouts and screams of happiness. There were dozens of stalls placed around the place with people selling clothes, jewellery, and other stuff. It was mostly flags and jerseys being sold. There were Quidditch fans from all over the world gathered here.

"I can't believe you bought me a ticket." Dawn mumbled in awe, standing beside him, shoulders touching.

He looked away from examining the stalls as they walked through them, and his eyes met her alluring brown ones. He hadn't seen her this happy ever. He was sure Quidditch was the only thing she really cared about. He was surprised that she thought he wouldn't have brought her with him.

He liked seeing her happy. "Did you really think I'd talk about this for the last four months and not get you a ticket?"

"Well maybe I thought you'd bring me back a present or something..." Dawn trailed off and rolled her eyes when Atlas let out a bark of a laugh, "But I really didn't think you'd buy me a ticket. I'll give you back the money for the ticket—"

"I told you already, it was a surprise. I don't want the money for it." Atlas replied, glancing sideways at her. He didn't need the money, and he certainly wasn't going to ask her to give him money for something he bought.

"I know but I still feel bad. I don't want you spending money on me. I know how much these things cost—"

"Dawn, I'm your boyfriend. This gift is the first of many." He grinned.

Dawn turned slightly red, maybe because she hadn't heard him actually call himself that before. "Thank you, Atlas. So where are Emerson and Calum?"

"I said I'd meet them..." Atlas reached into his pocket and pulled out a map, looking confused as he read it. Dawn watched in amusement as he squinted his eye at the map, trying to work it out before sighing. "Somewhere around the tents, out tent is at the back of the place, right on the cliffs so."

"And they said they're alright with me joining?" Dawn asked, finding it strange how his two friends didn't have a fit over her coming. She was actually very surprised considering the fact that a day ago they had a conversation about how his friends didn't know that Dawn and he had been together all summer.

"Sort of." Atlas replied to causing Dawn to stop walking.

"What do you mean "sort of"?" She tilted her head and looked at him. For a second she almost zoned out when she saw several famous Quidditch players walk by.

"Well, they're gonna know in a few minutes when we see them!" Atlas quickly said continuing to walk until he saw that Dawn had stopped. He wanted to sigh but refrained from doing so. "Dawn, relax, it's going to be fine—"

Her eyes widened. "You didn't tell them I was coming?"

"It was ... spontaneous!" He exclaimed, shrugging. "I didn't have the time. Let's not stand here and squabble about all of that, come on let's go! Fun Quidditch stuff awaits!"

"Stop trying to distract me with Quidditch!" Dawn grumbled because it almost worked. "I Just to clarify, you want me to share a tent with two people who hate me?"

Atlas stared at her for a few seconds, "Well I can get us our own tent if it makes you more comfortable."

The offer stood in the air for a few seconds, and she didn't really know what to answer for a moment. She thought she would be able to say yes or no quickly but instead she had no idea. She would have preferred to just share the tent with him but also, she didn't know what that meant exactly. "I....I..." She didn't know if that was a smart idea or not. "That's not the point...the point is they hate me and if I'm here I'll end up ruining the day on them!"

"Dawn, they do not hate you." Atlas states, quickly looking away from her eyes and looking up into the sky like he found it interesting. He shook his head and when she sighed, he continued, "If they hated you then trust me, you'd know. Maybe they don't like you that much yet but trust me, in time they will. Today will be the icebreaker. It might be awkward at first, but they aren't gonna be rude to you, I promise."

"I don't exactly like them though." She mentioned offhandedly.

Atlas scrunched his nose in confusion, "I don't know why. They've never done anything to you."

Dawn sent him a "really?" look but she refrained from fighting with him about that. It was a beautiful day, she was at the quidditch world cup and the last thing she was about to do was argue about why she didn't like his prejudice friends. Instead, she nods, "You're right. I'll try and get along with them."

Atlas smiled, rubbing her hand with his thumb.

"Atlas!" A voice shouts causing the two of them to turn in unison as their eyes land on Emerson and Calum who come down the closest hill, with their bags on their backs.

Too late to turn back now, Dawn thought, keeping her eyes on the two of them.

Atlas looked at Calum for the first time in weeks, He was still the same height as last time he saw him, and he was wearing a green flannel shirt despite how warm it was out. His freckles stood out more, maybe because of the sun and his hair never looked as bright as it did right now. He must have gotten his hair saved again over the summer because it seemed newly grown out, slightly short at the top and sides. "It's great to see you, Atlas."

Emerson seemed to notice Dawn first and gradually slowed down her walking unlike Calum who quite literally came running over.

"You too." Atlas grinned before putting his hand on his forehead to shield the sunlight reflecting from behind Emerson as she made her way over.

Dawn looked over at the girl. Her hair looked a little lighter than it did in school and judging by the tan on her skin, she had spent the last few weeks abroad. She was a very pretty girl, Dawn thought. It was strange to not see her hair tied back in a braid and her uniform on like she always had in school. Atlas must have thought the same because he gave her a bit of a "oh someone dressed up" type of look, like he was almost impressed, and she gave him a slight glare as if warning him not to say anything about how she looked. Although she had been wearing makeup, she had a slightly noticeable set of purple under eyes, like she hadn't slept properly in weeks.

When she finally approached them, Atlas was the first to speak and smiled at the girl. "Hey you."

"Hey yourself," She greeted with a nod, "Have you shrunk?"

"Very funny." He replied, rolling his eyes.

Dawn thought the three of them were a slightly awkward friend group. In comparison to Colleen, Drew, and her, the three of them would hug for about half an hour before diving into every detail of their summer. These three didn't hug, not even a side hug. Which was really weird because Atlas was a big hugger and physical person. She was then reminded how Emerson didn't like people touching her and how distant Calum seemed. They seemed to express friendship weirdly.

Or maybe Dawn was the awkward one in this situation because she just sorts of stood off to the side, watching them all greet one another.

Calum seemed slightly more welcoming. Key word being slightly because he did seem very awkward and uncomfortable. "So, Kale will be joining us today then?" He tried to sound optimistic.

Atlas, through all the commotion and happiness of seeing his friends again, almost forgot about the girl standing behind him. "Oh yes!" He happily replied, linking his hand through Dawn's as she practically held onto him for life. "Dawn's gonna be staying with us for the day... I hope that's alright?"

His question went unanswered, and, in that moment, Dawn realised that Atlas might have said he didn't care about what his friends thought, but she was sure deep down, maybe a big part of him wanted approval from his friends.

In particular, it seemed like he yearned from the approval of Emerson the most because his eyes were on her.

"It's perfect." Emerson replied and Atlas pretended not to hear the undertone of sarcasm. He missed hearing her sarcastic marks all summer. He was glad to see her again. With everything that was going on in the wizarding world, he was glad to just see his friends.

Emerson walked away without even a glance in any of their directions and like waterwork Atlas followed her. Calum then begun to walk as well.

Calum noticed Dawn was still stood in his spot, confused on what was going on. "I know it might not seem like it but her saying that is actually probably the nicest thing she could have said in that situation so ... y'know?.. take it as a win."

"Ah, right." Dawn stated, pursing her lips slightly. "Take it as a win."

"Are you coming or what?!" Atlas called through the crowd of people and Calum and Dawn nod.

The four of them trudged up the misty field between long rows of tents. Dawn was surprised how muggle looking the ordeal was: most of the tents looked like the same one she used to go camping with her mom and stepfather, Dave, in. It was almost like people wanted them to look muggle like. Although, some of them went over the top and there were chimneys and windows coming out of the tents, or three stories with fountains outside.

As they walked by one tent, which was covered in pure black and white stripes with a fountain outside it, Dawn snorted underneath her breathe. "Talk about showing off."

"You must be Dawn." A voice said from behind them causing the four of them to turn.

Atlas rolled his eyes when he was greeted with Narcissa and Lucius. He knew they were coming today but he made a clear specific point of warning them not to interact with him when he's with his friends. It wasn't a hard rule either: he paid Draco twenty galleons to keep them away from him all day.

Over the summer, Atlas made a fine point of not telling his guardians of where he was going most of the time. Neither of them exactly approved of the muggle world and if Lucius knew he would end up throwing a fit, and Atlas would probably loose his temper. He didn't like fighting with the Malfoys, but Lucius always seemed to look for a problem with him. Atlas sort of liked confrontation so he never kept his mouth closed unless he really had to.

Atlas made a face, "What are you guys doing here?"

"You're standing outside our tent and you're curious as to why we are standing here?" Lucius retorted without missing a beat. "I for one, might be curious as to why you are here?"

Dawn resisted the urge to smirk when he said it was his tent, of course it was the Malfoys tent.

"Well, you know what they say? Curiosity killed the cat." Atlas replied.

"Atlas, play nice." Narcissa states, sending him a slight warning look and Dawn was surprised when Atlas actually listened. Maybe she didn't know him as well she thought she did. The grey eyes of the woman found Dawn. She appeared warm and welcoming, but Dawn knew better than to trust a Malfoy. "You must be Dawn. Draco has told me wonderful things about you—"

"Draco has?" Dawn managed to splutter out.

"Well yes since Atlas here has decided to become mute this summer." Narcissa states and something in her tone suggested that Atlas was not on his best behaviour in the Malfoy house this summer.

"I have pretty good reasons for becoming mute and even if I did want to become mute, it's none of your concern because you're not my mother." Atlas replied without missing a beat. His tone remained calm. He didn't even sound angry, and Dawn didn't know if he was being serious or sarcastic. His words were harsh, but he said it with such ease that they almost sounded normal. "In case you've forgotten."

"I know I'm not your mother, Atlas, but I know Magnolia would have wanted someone to look after you." Narcissa replied and the conversation felt like it should have been had behind closed doors. Emerson was finding her nails interest, Calum was examining his freckles in the mirror of his pocket watch, and Dawn (the only one who was actually distracted) was busy watching the group of Quidditch players walk by.

"We'll we've got a very busy day ahead of ourselves, so we best be off. See you back home." Atlas replied before grabbing Dawn's hand and pulling her away.

The four of them walked through the crowd none of them talking about the awkward encounter with the Malfoys and the clear tension between Narcissa and Atlas.

"I wouldn't worry about the Malfoys, y'know?" Calum suddenly says, and she almost didn't realise he was talking to her until he appointed her a look. Atlas and Emerson walked further ahead of them, unaware to their conversation. Dawn went to speak but he continued, "Atlas doesn't get on with them half the time, Draco is the only one he really cares about so Narcissa and Lucius' comments don't matter. I wouldn't worry."

Dawn resisted the urge to make a face. She had no idea Atlas didn't get along with the Malfoys and she also didn't realise he did care about Draco as much as Calum let on:

Dawn didn't get how someone like Atlas (alright, she knew he wasn't perfect) could be like a brother to Draco and act like one too. The fact they were cousins almost didn't make sense to her. She really thought it was one of the most confusing things. Draco Malfoy was a prejudiced pureblood who hated Gryffindors and most other houses. He tormented Hermione Granger from her dorm as well, he was a prick. He went out of his way to bully Harry as well: even though Dawn wouldn't exactly say she was Harry Potter's biggest fan, she definitely disliked how much Draco Malfoy bullied and taunted him. She was sure Malfoy was perhaps jealous of Potter.

Reason one hundred and ten of why Dawn wished Atlas would open up a little more.

They found their tent after about another ten minutes of walking, the four of them walked inside the tent, surprised at how big the inside had been. Dawn was actually sure the tent was bigger than her apartment. She didn't even want to think about how mad her mum must have been right now over the fact that she had left without waking her up. Although to be fair, she did leave a note explaining everything. The tent was red on the outside with no windows on the outside, appearing like a normal tent and it was two stories with one bathroom. The upstairs was just one bedroom which the boys threw their bags in signalling they were sharing the two single beds.

The downstairs had a kitchen inside which Calum took an instant liking to as he devoured two packs of Jaffa cakes.

"I'm dying for a drink." Dawn muttered, trying to get the tap to even produce a drip of water. The inside of the tent was like a sauna and there wasn't a supply of water.

"There isn't any water in the fridge?" Emerson questioned, opening the fridge, which was full of food but no drinks. "Well, I'm not walking again."

Atlas and Calum sighed before picking up some of the saucepans in the presses and leaving the tent with the intention of finding the well they passed on the way here.

Dawn practically wanted to shout at Atlas not to leave her alone, but it was almost like he was doing it on purpose. The look he gave her before leaving confirmed it.

"Guess we're sharing this bedroom." Dawn mentioned, following Emerson into the downstairs room. It was slightly bigger than the upstairs one, with two single beds across from one another with a nightstand on both sides. There were large chested drawers at the back of the room.

Dawn couldn't tell if Emerson was shy (she doubted it) or just rude, but the girl simply nods with a slight grunt from her lips, like she was clearing her throat without coughing.

This was Atlas' best friend, who he clearly thought highly of, which is why she forced herself to try and converse with the girl.

"So, you like Quidditch?"

Emerson shook her head and kept unpacking. Silence passed the room, and it was literally about fifteen seconds before she replied, "I don't like Quidditch."

Any chance of even a mutual respect between Dawn and Emerson was ruined when she said she didn't like Quidditch.

Dawn squeezed her eyes closed for a second, be calm. "Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you did because I always seen you at the matches." Another awkward silence. "What team are you supporting today then?"

"I don't really care which team wins." Emerson told the girl, trying to finish packing away her stuff.

Another strike for Dawn. "You've gotta have a preference."

Emerson shook her head. "Not really. It's just a match."

Dawn's stomach churned. "I mean... if you had to choose? Ireland or Bulgaria?"

"I told you, I don't have a preference." Emerson turned around, this time with her sharp piercing eyes staring into Dawn eyes.

Atlas was regretting offering to go and get the water because he currently stood in the line for the last twenty minutes waiting to get to the tap. There must have been a line of about one hundred people and the two boys were at least thirty spots away from the tap. There was another tap at the opposite side of the campsite, but they didn't wanna take the risk in case that one was even busier.

"I wonder if they're getting along." Atlas mentioned, referring to the two girls back in the tent. Calum shook his head and snorted under his breath, before appointing him a bit of a look. "What? It's not an impossible idea."

"Not impossible, but also not likely."

"Why not? Dawn's a lovely girl. You've spoken with her a few times today, I've seen it!"

"It doesn't matter if she is the nicest girl in the entire world, you know that going off with her at a time like this is dangerous. It's obvious you've spent the summer together and she clearly likes you very much." Calum stated, looking at him. He knew that Atlas clearly liked Dawn as well, but Atlas was also messy when it came to expressing his feelings. "I mean Atlas, does Dawn even understand what a compromising position you and her will be put in?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well for a starters, Dawn isn't pureblood, and you are. I know you don't care about that, but other people will – and before you say anything you know that I can't back you up on this one, and neither will Emerson." Calum told him, and Atlas understood just because he was going against everyone's wishes didn't mean he wanted his friends to pay the consequences. He also knew that Calum didn't have a clear thing against Dawn, but he wouldn't publicly support their relationship.

"I mean... are you sure that Dawn is the right girl for you?" Calum questioned casually, as they moved up further in the line.

"What do you mean?"

"I think Dawn's good for you, I mean she clearly makes you happy, but I just wonder if there's anyone else you think might be .... more suited to you than Dawn?"

"More suited to me than Dawn?" Atlas asked, considering it for a quick moment. He did like a lot of girls, but he was now in a relationship. "Nah, can't see it."

"Good, I'm glad to hear that. So, you and Dawn must be pretty serious then? I mean if you feel like she's the perfect match for you. I guess that muggle phrase of "opposites attract" must mean nothing. And you feel like you can talk to Dawn about anything?" Calum pressed, swaying the pot in his hand to shield his eye from the light. Atlas eyed him for a second, curious what he was about to say. Atlas half nodded when he said that. "Well, it sounds like love to me."

Atlas looked at him, slightly startled. "I really.... like her."

"And I'm glad you do, it's nice to see you happy after everything that happened last year with your dad and ... sister." Calum mentioned treading lightly on the word sister. His expression didn't even move. He just nods at his words. Calum could see how closed off he had become when it came to talking about anything family related. Calum really did just want to see his friend happy, but he also knew from a logical point of view that his relationship with Dawn was going to cause problems. Maybe problems the two of them didn't realise. "If you like her then that's all that matters for the moment. Let's not worry about any of that today—"

Calum was cut off when suddenly he was shoved forward by two boys who tried to cut the line and take their spot. It was almost like the taller boy had done it on purpose. Well, he wasn't exactly tall, he was the same height as Atlas. The Spanish boy beside him was laughing loudly but did let out a gasp when he realised that Calum was knocked over.

"Oi!" Atlas shouted when neither of the two blokes tried to even apologise or ask if Calum was alright.

The boy, who must have been around the same age as Atlas, had turned to him with two very red puffy eyes. Atlas thought maybe he had been crying before the stench of something else hit him. He was blinking slightly quick as well.

"What's your problem?!" The boy asked, pulling his sunglasses down over his head clearly trying to hide his eyes. "Oh that? Well maybe your friend should be the one doing the apologising, he is standing in our way after all."

The Spanish boy shook his head, "We are sorry. There, all is good, come on Liam. The girls are waiting—"

"And they can wait a little longer until you apologise for knocking my friend over you ignorant prick—" Atlas interrupted.

"What did you just call me?!"

"Atlas, just leave it, it's fine." Calum stated, wiping the dirt off his shirt.

"No, he needs to apologise. Bit of manners won't go astray on horse mouth here." Atlas stated, looking away from Calum and back towards the boy. "Say you're sorry."

"Alright, fine. We're sorry. I'm sorry." The boy states, an almost sarcastic smile on his mouth to follow his fake words that were so clearly sarcastic. Calum sent him a look to just let it go which Atlas reluctantly did and he turned around.

The second himself and Calum turned back around, the boy, this time obviously on purpose for a certain, shoved Calum down.

Atlas, without even thinking because he was seriously impulsive, turned around and simply whacked him right across the face as hard as he could with the pan in his right hand causing the boy to fall back into the ground.

Blood gushed from the curly brown haired boys nose, and he groaned in pain. This commotion caused even more of a scene and the security started bellowing at the two boys to leave.

The boy stormed off, dropping the large water bottle he had in his hand and throwing his hand up. The other boy muttered something in Spanish that Calum must have understood because he shook his head.

"Thanks for that." Calum mentioned, holding his arm in his other hand. He must have hurt it in his fall.

"What a rude dickhead." Atlas spat watching the two boys enter a close green tent, an idea popped into his head, and a Sirius Black smirk made its way on his face. "I think we should pay that tent a visit later on."

"What are you suggesting?" Calum asked, slightly worried at the grin on his face.

"Just a little payback."

—Liam Jenkins had been the boy who Atlas had pushed over and him and the Spanish boy alongside him was Miguel Perez. The two of them made their way into their tent, letting out a groan as the loud blondie music blared through the tent.

"You should not have shoved that boy—" Miguel grunted, head shaking.

"They deserved it. If I see either of them later, I'll do worse."

The large tent had been occupied by four girls (in the friend group there had been five girls but one of them, Juliette DuPont decided not to come last minute). The four other girls sat on the floor, each with their own mirrors doing their makeup.

There had been a fourth girl apart of the group but she travelling back home for the summer

Elisa Monet was a French girl from the city of Lyon. She was the most sensible of them, the mature one for their age. Kinda of the mother of the group in a way. She grounded them all. She was blunt. Like sometimes rudely so but she didn't care because there was only one thing on her mind all the time: which was analysing people. Yes, that might sound weird but that's what she did. She was good at telling peoples emotions, almost too good. She didn't do it in a judgemental way, but it was like she was always trying to understand peoples thought process behind everything. When it came to friendships, relationships, and even just thoughts, she was the girl to go to. She could read people like an open book. It made sense because the girl did want to study psychology when she was older. She was quiet a lot of the time - except the occasional time when she had been drunk, not very often.

Amara Dubois was the slight opposite of Elisa. She was the most irresponsible and impulsive one of them all. She was always doing something sneaky and spent half the school year getting them all in trouble and playing innocent behind it. Because of her fantastic grades, no one would ever expect at the back of it that she was the cause for most of the trouble. She was probably immature for her age if anything but Amara had the opinion of "you only get one life so you might as well live it" and she went by that motto every day. She and Juliette was the one who dragged the girls to do stuff every weekend. Amara radiated happiness and positivity and whoever was with her naturally felt the same.

Then there was Lucinda Williams, who sat directly beside the last remaining girl in the friend group. Lucinda was the middle child and sometimes she showed it. Lucinda was a complicated person. She came across as a very confident, outspoken girl. Some people in school feared her, which she always took as a compliment. Sometimes Lucinda seemed like she was playing some sort of role as robot because she didn't really express guilt or feelings at times. Her friends were sure she had a heart, but it was buried under about seven layers of ice.

The only person she was ever really nice to, the only person she never made fun of and always clicked with, had been the girl sitting beside her.

The girl who Liam's undivided attention went to, like always.

The girl in question was none other than Aurora Black.

Aurora had been standing behind Lucinda and was adding hairspray on the top of her head, whilst looking in the mirror she saw Liam and Miguel come into the tent. She rose from her spot when she saw his bleeding nose, big grey eyes widening. "What happened to your nose?"

"And where's the water? Some of us are thirsty over here." Elisa stated, adding black underneath her eyes.

"Dehydration is no joke. Last summer me and my mum went to Spain and the resort we stayed in ran out of water three days into our trip!" Amara told them, shaking her head as she brushed out her curls. Liam rolled her eyes as she spoke. "Well then Liam, where is the water?"

"Will the two of you shut up and let the bloke explain why he is covered in blood before Aurora has a heart attack?" Lucinda barked at the two girls, and Aurora sent her a grateful look.

"Some lunatic came up and hit me with this pan for no reason. Must have been off his head." Liam grunted, wiping his nose with his hand. Miguel sent him a look but said nothing. "Has anyone got a tissue?"

Elisa had a full pack of tissues in her purse, but she didn't make any sort of attempt to get them, "Nope. I haven't. You might want to try the bathroom upstairs."

Aurora went over and took kitchen roll from the top press in the kitchen, pulling out a considerable amount of it considering how much blood was gushing from his nose. Whoever had hit him with the pan must have done it with some force. Liam came into the kitchen, pulling over the door and sat down.

"Are you alright?" She asked, bringing the tissue up to his nose and wincing at the amount of blood.

"A kiss would make it better."

"I'm not kissing you when you've got blood all over your face."

"Well I'll kiss you then—" He stated before leaning forward and practically dragging the girl into a kiss, she groaned in annoyance but nonetheless, her lips remained on his for a few moments.

Liam Jenkins was an English boy from London. He was 5'11 in height and he was one of the few English people who attended Beauxbatons. He had curly brown hair that would turn upwards when it was windy or would turn flat when it was raining. She knew this because of the number of times he came in from Quidditch practise with wet hair. She actually found wet hair sort of attractive on a boy. He had ochre-coloured eyes that were so dark that it was almost hard to tell what he was thinking sometimes. His family were good friends with her family, and it seemed like everyone approved of the couple. Liam, himself, was very outgoing, sometimes a little too outspoken about things that his girlfriend had to warn him not to talk about. He talked about anything, and no one needed to ask for his opinion on anything because he gave it without question.

Her relationship with him started when she was in first year. They were just friends and she clicked with him instantly. He sort of made her come out of her box. She wasn't necessarily shy when she came into first year, but she did have the opinion that she didn't need friends: but Liam practically forced her to become friends with him. When they started going out in third year, she felt like she finally found her match.

Aurora didn't see herself being with anyone else besides him. He was literally what she would call her perfect match. If those even existed. Or at least at this moment in her life, she only wanted him and she had him.

Although Liam wasn't always the best he could have been. He had a temper. A bad one. Like maybe even the worse temper she saw someone have. He got mad really quickly: mostly about little stuff. Things that Aurora wouldn't even think was a good reason to be mad at. Like for example, Aurora was close with Miguel (the Spanish student in their friend group who transferred to Beauxbatons last year) and before Aurora and Liam even started dating, Liam got mad at her for being so close with him. Or sometimes they'd fight when Aurora would try and explain to him that his mum made rude comments to her sometimes (mostly about her father), they did fight regularly about his parents because Liam did everything and anything his parents said.

If Aurora said the wrong thing to Liam's parents, (like she did last Christmas when she spent Christmas with him), or presented herself badly, Liam got really mad. Like extremely mad. Aurora spent nearly three hours locked in the guest bedroom in his house in France because of how badly they had fought. It always worked out fine in the end though, they sorted every argument they ever had.

But every relationship had its faults. No one was perfect.

And this year would prove just how so many of the relationships they all would have thought were perfect, will turn out to be the opposite.
