"Alright now you two, calm down! I don't wanna make a mess!" Osaka helplessly cried out as he was pouring milk into a bowl of cereal. One already being filled a bit too much as he was being shook from both sides. "Cmon! Hurry up big brother!"

"Yea! We're hungry!"

"I'm trying!" 'Where's Mei when ya need her!?"

While Mei was busy in her room. Listening in on her younger siblings tormenting the oldest as she let out a small snicker. "Oh Osaka... maybe one day you'll learn not to be such a dork..." She said and shook her head. Looking into the mirror while fixing her hair. Wearing a uniform since it was a school day. Her yawning as she had light bags under her eyes. "I still hate these.." She grumbled while adjusting her skirt. Suddenly hearing a thud as she flinched from it.

"Mei!!!"

"Oh for the love of--!" Mei gripped her skirt more tightly as she went to the door. Letting go as she slammed it open and marched down the hallway. Looking at what had happened as she didn't look surprised at all.

Osaka was now on the ground. A bowl on his head as he his uniform was soaked from the milk. Cereal on him and around on the ground as he slumped. "These two... are awful...."

"Yea right. You just don't know how to handle kids cause of how much you act like one." She said smugly and crossed her arms. Waiting on him to get up as she eyed him. Trying not to laugh off at her brother at this point. "I do not!"

"Says the one who can't even give someone an order. You're too soft."

"Oh yeah? What about yourself missy. I know you have a weak spot for these two."

"And? So what? It doesn't hurt to have a soft spot for family." She said and shrugged. Rolling her eyes as he was walking by her to go grab a change of clothes. Her slapping him on the back playfully as he lightly hit her arm. "You're so mean.."

"You know you love me." She said and grinned. Then looking towards the two troublemakers who technically made the mess in the first place. "And as for you two, help me clean this up.."

"Awww but Meiiiiii"

"No buts! Now get your butts to moving." She said and ushered them to grab the cleaning supplies. Sounding like a scolding mother as she made a face. 'I sounded too much like mom on that one...' She said and sighed. Going over and grabbing a broom. Handing it to Taiko as her and Geiyuu went to clean the hardwood floor with a rag and soap. It being quite easy with the three of them working together.

"Alright! I'm ready. Shall I cook something before we go?"

"Yea sure. Just don't go burning it like last night." Mei joked as she tossed the rag in a small pile of dirty clothes.

"Humph! That was an accident. Everyone makes mistakes."

"Not as often as you do 'oh master chef'."

"Oh don't go there!"

"I will too. You made them lunch as well, didn't you?" She asked as he had a face of confusion before it went to panic. "Oh god I forgot! I was in such a rush last night that i--"

"Hey hey! Calm down. Just start cooking and I'll get the table set."

"I wish you could help further.."

Mei just made a poker face and shook her head. Then walking off as Osaka sighed heavily. 'This is going to be a longgggg day...'

After setting down the final fork, Mei looked at her progress and smiled a bit. Nodding as she crossed her arms.

"Breakfast is served!" Osaka said as he came in. Having a wide smile as a sweet scent filled the air. "Today we're having a hearty breakfast of French Toast and eggs!" He said and started setting the plates down where they should be. Taiko and Geiyuu's already being cut up into smaller squares with some powdered sugar and a bit of syrup on top of them. Beside it, on a side dish, were a small plate of scrambled eggs with salt and pepper already added accordingly.

Mei already looked hypnotized by the delicious smelling meal as she sat down. Grabbing a fork and knife and cutting into the soft bread. Going and taking a bite as her eyes turned into gleaming stars. 'His cooking never fails! It's too good to resist!' She thought as she started digging in along with her younger siblings.

"Hehe.." Osaka watched the three for a moment. Adjusting his blue-framed glasses before starting to eat himself. "Mm... not bad."

"Not bad!? Your cooking is better than moms and dads combined!" Mei said and pointed her knife at him. "Okay okay! I note that so put that down..." Osaka said as he put his hands up defensively. Looking at the knife while Mei set it safely on the table. "Humph."

"Hey Geiyuu."

"What?"

"Look at this. Blehhhhh"

"Bwahaha! Watch this Taiko! Blleehhhhh"

"Both of you. Quit showing your food. It's bad etiquette." Osaka was the one scolding for once as the two stopped. Crossing their arms as they swallowed their food.

'I don't see how they aren't suspended.... they're in middle school for fucks sake..!'

"Alright, I'm done. So I'm outta here." Mei said as she briskly got up. Grabbing her bag after setting the dishes in the sink. Knowing they can easily be dealt with later along with laundry. "Bye!"

"Mei, wai-. Ughhh..."

The navy-haired female stepped out the door and let out a breath. Slamming it behind her as to not have to deal with her brothers whining. Lightly shaking her head as she knew he couldn't help it. He was childish himself and knows it, though it's not like he's going to change anytime soon. Continuing to walk on her normal route to school, she didn't notice anything suspicious. Up until a pair of arms wrapped around her shoulders, causing her to jump and elbow whoever was behind her.

"Oof!"

"Ow! Not cool Mei!"

"It wasn't cool for you morons to scare me like that!" She said and whipped her head around. Stopping for a bit with a satisfied smirk across her face. Two teens were kindly hunkered over thanks to the force of where her elbows ended up going, which was their stomachs. One male had deep blue hair and pale green eyes. The other having sort of long, light brown hair. His hair being tied back into a low ponytail. One eye being a very pale shade of grey while the other was a shade of slate grey. "You two are idiots."

"Yeah right!"

"You are! Cause I'm stuck having to take care of you idiots!"

"Hey! We aren't that dumb." The brown haired replied as he huffed in annoyance.

"Yea yea, keep telling yourselves that." She said and lightly waved her hand. The three having silly expressions.

"Hey Reymond, you got any of your world famous pranks planned?" The brown haired asked as the Reymond smirked. "Of course I do. It's specifically for a local charmer stealing all the ladies."

"You mean Yu? Oh please..." Mei said and turned around to be walking backwards. Putting her hands behind her head with a careless expression. "I don't see why anyone likes that jerk. But, go on.." She said and gained a light smirk.

"Well...." Reymond held a not so good smile across his face as he explained just what he was planning.

"That could work, but we'd need a distraction..." He said, purposely trailing off as all eyes went on Mei.

"What?"

"We want you to ask Yu out."

"What!? Like hell I will Misachi!"

"Don't be that way! You can laugh in his face after."

"Geez... I'll only do it cause of my own amusement.." she said and sighed a bit heavily. Forgetting where she was going and ended up tripping over her own feet. About to fall before a hand caught her by her back.

"Are you okay Miss?" A voice asked as Mei looked a bit shocked.

"Yeah.. just fine." She said and looked up at who had caught her. A tall male with dark grey hair and blue eyes. Wearing a pair of glasses and a uniform standard for a different high school. At least, that's what she was assuming. Him pushing against her back to make sure she was fully up before allowing her to stand on her own. "You should really watch where you're going."

"Whatever ya say, four eyes.." Mei said bluntly before turning. Not taking another look at the guy as she had started to walk off again. The two boys who were following her in the first place going by the taller one as they did.

"Humph....." He said and adjusted his glasses. A smirk coming across his face.

"You just let her go!"

"I know I did. It's simpler to catch two birds with one stone, correct?"

"I suppose you're right.. let's get moving. We need to hurry before anything else can happen with them."

"Right!"

Mei yawned as she was stuck in the middle of class. Waiting on the bell to ring so she could go to lunch. Lightly tapping her finger against the desk as she kept glancing at the clock every chance she got. The speaker suddenly ringing before an announcement was made.

"Yu Otosaka to the student council office. And Mei Komura to the Principals office." A monotoned voice said before the speaker shut off.

'Oh what now!? I haven't beaten anyone up.. yet..' Mei let out a kindly annoyed groan as she got up. Grabbing her bags as the teacher had went on and told them to as they walked off. Yu looking just as annoyed as they soon had to separate.

The purple-haired female stepping into the office as she gazed around. Osaka already being there along with the principal.

"Huh? What's he doing here?" She asked and gazed over since the siblings went to different schools.

"Mei... there's been horrible news..." The principal said solemnly as they looked at the girl. "Your parents died in a plane crash."

Mei blinked before her entire expression turned into that of shock. Her freezing up some as she shook her head. "That's not true... there's no way..."

"It was on the news this morning... there were no survivors...." They said and kept their eyes on the girl. Her looking distraught as she wanted to say something, yet didn't. "If there's anything we can do, please just say so..."

"I know it's gonna be hard sis, but...-"

"Don't. Osaka.." She said and lightly raised her hand. "I just.... want some time alone......"

"Well school is still in session so I could just send you to the n--. Mei! Don't go running off!"

When she said she needed to be alone, she meant it. She had left her bag and just.. ran out of the room. Barely any explanation needed.

Another pool of ripples struck across the calmed waters of the river. A teen sitting there with her knees against her chest. Sniffling a bit as she wiped her teary eyes for what seemed to be the millionth time. Her having a rock in her other hand as she hurled it into the water. Still looking agitated as the water created more ripples. "This is just a pain..." She muttered to herself. Gazing up at the sky to see that the sun had already started to set. The teen not even making an attempt to move from her spot as she went to grab another decent sized rock. Only to pick her head up and look over. Charging straight at her was Yu. The male screaming as if he had seen a ghost as she went to move. Until a gust of wind flew by with such force that she was thrown back into the water. "What the hell!?" She shouted and looked over at where Yu had landed. Another male being on top of him and currently holding him down.

"This is insane! Let go of me!"

'Is this idiot getting arrested? Wait. Where did that guy even come from!?' Her thoughts were all over the place by now as she stood up. Glaring around before screaming. Jumping back to see a camera up in her face. A female with long-ish, white hair and blue eyes holding it. "So you're Mei.."

"Yea so? What's it to ya lady!?" She asked and went to grab the camera since she didn't feel all too comfortable with being recorded. Her simply stepping back as the female looked unfazed. "Mei Komura. You're currently being recorded because of your actions regarding your powers..."

'Okay.. how did she know that?! What the hells going on!?' Mei had a scared expression on her face before it turned normal. "What powers? I dunno what your talking about..."

"Your power to read minds and control others using your eyes.."

"I really dunno what you're talking about...."

"Well I do. You've been cheating using your power. And so has he." She said and pointed at Yu. Who was up and was also soaked in water. 'He has a power too? Just makes him more of a pain..'

"Okay, fine! You caught me. So what'd you want?"

"Your power can be useful to us. So, we want you two to transfer over to our school. It would be for that, and for your own safety."

"Power? You're telling me that she has powers too? All of you do?" Yu cut in as he looked between them. "Yes. That's exactly what I'm saying."

"I don't believe that for two seconds.."

"Then I'll show you.." The white haired girl replied before Yu was suddenly punched in the gut. Him not doing anything as he was then kicked in the head. Being sent to the ground as he groaned in pain.

"What kind of a power was that? I didn't see anything.." Mei said as she blinked in confusion.

"Her ability is that she can turn invisible in front of a specific target. Others just see it as him getting beat and not doing anything about it." The grey haired male said asamatterafact like as he pointed his finger in the air. "Huh..."

'Some half assed power..' Yu thought while holding his stomach.

The girl holding the camera suddenly spoke up again, crossing her arms as she did. "I already alerted your guardians that you'd be transferring. So, there's not much you can do to say no here. You'll also be moving into an apartment complex by your new school."

"So you're forcing us into this?"

"Exactly." She said and nodded.

Mei blinking as she looked dumbfounded at this rate. 'These people are stranger than I've ever imagined...'

'Alright... here's the place I was told to be at...' Mei thought as she looked at the door of an apartment which her and her siblings would be moving into. Her being extra late since she'd taken the liberty of grabbing groceries for them. Cause by knowing Osaka, this would be a cause for great grief. Meaning that they'd have no food left thanks to him stress cooking. She went on and opened the door. Stepping in as she looked around. "Mei-Chan!!" Her younger siblings said as they ran over. Going and hugging her legs tightly as she looked down at them. Smiling a bit as she went and put the bags down. "Hey guys..." she said and pat their heads. "Guess what? We're moving schools! These nice people came and helped us unpack! Though they had to go and help another that's moving in too."

"Huh, I see.. sounds eventful." She said and shrugged. "Where's Osaka?"

"Kitchen." They both said and had let go of her. The female shaking her head a bit as she walked into the kitchen. Having picked up the bags again as she looked into the space. Seeing several dishes already being made as the male was lightly sniffling. 'Oh boy... the chaos has already begun...' She thought to herself and held a blank face. Putting the bags down on the floor as she walked over. Going and wrapping her arms around her brothers shoulders. "Hey..."

"Oh.. hey Mei..." Osaka said as he glanced over his shoulder. Looking like he had been crying as he blinked a few times to stop himself from tearing up again. Him currently chopping up some vegetables to put into a soup he had started making. "Don't you think you've made enough?"

"I don't feel calm yet..." He said while quickly chopping down a carrot. "What about you? How're you feeling?"

".. a bit better..." She said and let go. Going on to start putting things away and get a feel for the new area. "Do the boys know?"

"No...." He said and shook his head. "I don't have the heart to tell them." He said and looked over at her. "We put your boxes in your new room.... but, we didn't unpack anything since I know how you are with your stuff.."

"Oh..? Well, thanks Osaka..." She said while struggling to put up some cans on a high shelf. "Here. I got that.. you may wanna go start on your room." He said and grabbed the can from her. Putting it on the shelf with ease given his height.

"I wouldn't feel right leaving you like this..."

"I'll be fine. I'm putting my feelings aside and having my love for cooking take over. Just go on.. I promise, I'll be fine."

"Fine.. I'm gonna be up late anyways so may as well get started..." She said with a small nod. Going on and walking off while holding a saddened smile on her face. Things weren't going to get any easier for any of them. She just knew it....
