"Mei! Are you even listening!?"

"Mm? Yea.... yea I'm listening..."

"Then what did I say the formula was for Chapter 40?"

"It was...." The navy eyed girl blinked before closing her left eye. "Hmm....."

'The answers fairly simple. Its the x over 74 to the third power...' A males voice came up in her head as she gained a small smirk. Opening her eye before speaking. "Its x over 74 to the third power." She said rather smugly. Leaning back against the hard chair. "Hm, very good. Okay moving on class..." A tall man said as he adjusted his glasses. Having black hair and teal colored eyes. Wearing a simple suit which fit well for his job as a teacher.

Pointing to the deep green board before picking up a piece of chalk. Writing some more nonsense on it involving math. The girl yawned quietly, adjusting her pale red bow which went well with her short, dark purple hair. 'Geez... this is so boring!' She thought to herself and decided to go back to what she was originally doing. Taking a nap. So, she crossed her arms on her desk and shifted a bit, putting her head down as she let out a small grunt.

While another male had glanced over at her. Himself having brown hair and maroon eyes. Wearing a uniform which was standard for Hinomori High School. Then simply rolling them and looking away. 'She isn't right...' He thought and just closed his eyes. Looking bored as he did.

After school, Mei was awoken by the sound of the bell. Flinching some as she grunted. "What a pain..." She grumbled and rubbed her right eye. Blinking a few times as it was stinging a bit. Now ignoring the pain, she got up and grabbed her bag. The bag being a green color with some pins on it. Slinging the object over her shoulder, she started walking. Reaching into a small pocket of her bag to grab her phone. Now staring down at it before huffing. "Damn it, forgot my headphones.." She muttered and turned. Bumping into someone as she fell back. "Ouff..." She grunted as she fell to the floor. Glaring up from her phone to see who had ran into her as she was clearly turning. "Watch it." A male grumbled, being the same one from her class. "Tch, why don't you watch it.." She said and stood up. Not even bothering to help him as she dusted herself off.

Himself standing and doing the same as he shook his head. "Whatever Mei..."

"Humph... just watch out next time, Yuu..." She said before walking by him. Bumping the males arm with her shoulder on purpose and due to their height difference.

Him glaring back at her as he was thinking about using his little gift before going against it. 'Bull.. she's not worth it.... I've gotta get home anyways...' He thought and walked the opposite direction. Towards the main entrance of the building.

Mei was walking along the hallways that seemed empty. Though, glanced over to see a few boys coming from a classroom that was meant for after school activities and otherwise detention. One of them gazing over and eyeing her up and down. Having a not too good smirk across his face.

'Creep alert! Good grief...' She said before closing her right eye. Her left eye having a faint, yellowish glow as one of them tensed up. Their eyes having the same yellowish glow as he looked over at the one staring. Him grabbing the male before slamming him into a wall and knee jabbing him in a very bad place down there.

"Argh! The hell was that for Ace?!!"

"The hell was what for??" The make known as Ace looked clearly confused. Having blinked as his eyes had lost the glow.

"Don't act dumb!" the other said and grabbed the poor male by his collar. "You're gonna pay for what you did!"

"But I seriously don't know what I did!" Ace said as his face paled. Trying to get away yet that was clearly failing. Being dragged away by the kindly limping male as he was struggling helplessly.

Mei grinned as she snicker. 'Ohh I love this..' she said before heading off again. Going into the classroom since the teacher had left it unlocked. Her going in while gazing around the empty room. Humming a bit before spotting what she was looking for. A pair of simple, wired headphones in a white color. Her going over to them and swiftly picking them up from her desk. Connecting the wire to her phone before putting the buds in both ears. 'Finally..! I can get out of this dump..' she said and turned around. Going and walking out of the classroom.

Yet, little did she know, someone with a camera had caught the entire scene from before...

"Oi Loser, I'm home!" The female called into a seemingly empty house while kicking the door open. That seeming to be a usual as a groan came from the other room. "Good! But you're late!" A voice called before two pairs of footsteps could be heard.

"Onee-sannnnnnnnn!!!" Two young boys yelled in glee as they both went up and tackled the female. Her grunting as she fell for the second time today. "Alright calm down you two!" Mei said while the two were hugging her tightly. Both of them looking at her together as they grinned widely. "Sorry Mei-San.. we just missed you!"

"Yea yea! We missed you!"

One was a boy with the same deep purple hair. The other also being a boy. Having silver hair with a few purple streaks in it. Both of their eyes being the same, notable emerald green as their eyes shone with excitement. Most would say that these two were twin. Yet, they aren't. The silver-haired male on the left was at least two years older than the one on the right of Mei.

Her soon having to shove them off since she was hot and felt like she was being squished by them. "Damn it! It's burning!" Mei shook her head as she rolled her eyes. "Let me go help the moron.." She said and got up. Walking into the room with a male with the same silver hair and navy eyes. Water swirling around two burnt-looking fish on a pan as he looked dreadfully upset. "How did you manage to burn a fish? I thought you could cook better than this!" Mae said and facepalmed. "Seriously Osaka.."

"Don't blame me Mei! With you being late I was stuck trying to keep the two maniacs in the other room occupied! Do you know how hard that is!?"

"No. Cause they actually like me."

"Hey!! They like me too!" The male said and looked falsely upset by now. Him taking the pan and sighing. "Looks like we're just having spaghetti tonight..." he said and walked over to a trash can. Opening it with his foot being sliding the burnt fish off and into it.

"Yay! Noodles!"

"Noodles!" The two boys had rushed in, waving their arms in the air happily. "Okay, I know you two are excited but calm down! Osaka needs to cook so you two had better get out and put your pjs on! I want you both in bed after supper.."

"Aww but nee-San...."

"No buts. Go..." Mei said as she gave them both a warning expression only a mother could give. Pointing at a hallway as the two marched over to it. Going into a room glumly.

Osaka letting out a sigh as he fanned himself a bit. "Gee, thanks Mei..."

"No problem loser... Geiyuu and Taiko are too much for you apparently."

"It's not that! They just... don't listen to me like they do you..."

"Mhm. Cause you don't have the heart to be assertive with them." She said and poked at the older's chest with an accusing look.

"Yea! Cause dad never did that!"

"Well he was a wimp, unlike mom..." She said and crossed her arms. Then sighing and gazing down. "Just finish up dinner... I'll make sure they're ready for bed..."

"Got it.. and you gotta get ready too missy.." he said and playfully ruffled her hair. The female chuckling a bit and swatted at his hand. "Yea yea..." She said and smiled at him. Then going and walking off to get herself somewhat prepared for bed.

Osaka sighing as he went and grabbed the sauce to make the meal with. A saddened smile across his face. "At least we'll be seeing them tomorrow..." He said to himself before going to finish up dinner...
