Once again, Bethany and Ashton had made camp in the forest. They slept with no disturbances. Bethany was up early making breakfast on their campfire. Then, she heard Ashton scream. He woke up gasping and trying to breathe. Bethany ran beside him. He had another vision.

       The vision was terrifying. Bethany was laying on the ground lifeless. She was gasping for air on the cold, hard ground. An arrow was in her chest. Blood was gushing out. Ashton froze trying to erase the vision from his head. He didn't know when or how this would happen. All he knew was that the future was without Beth.

       "Ash, what's wrong? Did you have a vision?" Bethany asked with fear and worry in her eyes. Ashton would miss her. Too much. But, this was the future and the future can be changed, right? After Ash didn't answer, Beth asked again, "Ash? Are you okay?"

      They were very close to the castle. If they got caught with magic, they would probably get killed. Bethany was shaking Ashton begging for any answer she could possibly get. Ashton saw the dungeon. And Dean. Dean was crying in the dungeon.

       "I have to go." Ashton cried. He scrambled to gather his stuff.

       "Wait! Ash! What is happening? What's wrong? Where are you going? I can help!" Bethany yelled to him. Ashton pulled Bethany close to him.

       "Listen to me. There is trouble. Dean is in trouble. I need you to stay here. Don't talk to anyone. Don't do anything. Please stay here." Ashton begged with tears in his eyes. He grabbed his bow and arrow and ran as fast as he could to the castle.

       Normally Bethany would argue but she could tell Ashton's panic was not only about Dean.

      The castle was surprisingly easy to get into. Ashton was royal blood after all. He made his way to the dungeon.  He would never forget the stares of the prisoners. "Dean! Where are you?" Ash whispered.

       "Ash, is it you?" Dean asked with fear in his eyes. Ash opened the gate and let Dean out. Dean had spent two days in the dungeon. It was definitely an adventure at the least. Dean and Ash carefully escaped the castle with no one seeing them.

       "Thank you for saving me." Dean thanked.

       "Oh please! I owe you one! I can't believe that you would do that for a stranger!" Ash exclaimed. Dean smiled.

       "Well, I saw how instantly Bethany wanted to help you. That girl will do anything for you." Dean complimented.

       "We've been friends forever. Bethany is as good as they come." Ash smiled. Dean knew that they were more than that.

       "Are you going to marry her?" Dean asked curiously. Ash thought about that for a moment.

      "Don't tell anyone this. Okay?" Ashton asked. Dean nodded. "I love Bethany." Dean wasn't surprised. Honestly, he would be surprised if Ashton didn't say that. "She is unlike anyone in the kingdom. She's perfect."

       "Aw! You guys are perfect for each other!" Dean exclaimed.

       "No, that's the problem. We're not. She is too good for me. She deserves more. Bethany deserves to live with a strong, kind gentlemen with the ability to give her the life of a princess! I don't have that. I am not even allowed off the island!" Ashton ranted.

       "So what? Bethany loves the island! And I think you compliment each other perfectly!!" Dean grinned.

       "Okay, don't you dare tell anyone this because that incident that happened today won't be the last. People on the island are dangerous and the word spreads. If people found out that I was the heir to throne, the kingdom would swing out of control. Like a full-on Civil War." Ashton whispered.

       "How do you know?" Dean asked.

       "I've seen it. I can see the future. I also saw something even worse. This morning, I got the scariest vision. Bethany was shot." Ashton said.

       "What? Where? Why? When? How? Who?" Dean yelled bombarding Ash with questions.

       "I saw it at the camp we set up. All I know is that I was there with her. I don't know why and I don't know who. But, we have to keep a lookout." Ashton explained.

       They soon approached the camp fearing the worst. Ash would never forgive himself if Bethany had gotten killed.
