He's his usual self in the pilots, but after receiving the staff he starts losing emotion. He's completely lost them by episode 2, and doesn't react much to Red Son kidnapping him to see why he lost all feeling.

Red keeps trying to figure out why/how such a bright, cheerful guy lost all his feeling so fast. It takes him awhile to try a therapy-esque approach, and that's when he learns... A huge spoiler, guess what I'm planning on doing! That's right, another god damned story! This is a great idea, it's not like I'm a super slow writer with like 2+ other stories! Haha. This is fine.
