If you have read my book ideas book, you should obviously know that I have an upcoming Cobra Kai fic coming up? I technically gave the idea to my friend humansL00 so maybe I'll introduce the idea  better if she's reading this.

So, first of all it's sort of a sequel to the California Dreamin' trilogy to which I'm writing after writing the first book Champagne Problems standalone (Fallin' For Ya). And considering the fact that Cobra Kai is a pretty long show, I planned on splitting it up into two books: You're Own Your Own, Kid being the first one covering seasons 1-3, Hopeless War, covering seasons 4-5, and Dream A Little Dream of Me, which covers season six. So...humansL00 you have a lot on your hands. (You can always change the titles.)

So, in You're On Your Own, Kid, Cath moves back to California to be closer to Daniel after a divorce and brings along her kids, Tom and Effie, for the ride. And the plot of the show moves forward because I haven't even watched it yet.

Tom joins Miyagi Do (obviously) and Effie hangs out with the guy her Uncle Danny kicked in the face. Now, basically she does this because she has nothing else to do, other than pick up injured animals found on the street and giving her Aunt Amanda a heart attack. Effie found a crow named Cornelius that way.

Meanwhile, Effie has formed a small band with her friends called Little Bonsais and basically she doesn't want anyone but Cath to know. Not her brother! Not her uncle! Not her cousin! Not the Gen X guy she hangs out with! Only her mom! And I would like to mention that the band name was originally called Waxing On...which is the name of Ralph's autobiography.

Basically, Effie often sneaks out to practice with the band at her friend Jolene's house and they perform literally anywhere but they have to wear forking wigs to hide their identities because they usually play at bars. (There was an incident in which they performed at a bar where the Gen X guy Effie hangs out with was at.) So let me introduce you to the members of Little Bonsais.
