"RANDHIR RANDHIR RANDHIR!!!!" amidst the crowd standing at the basket ball court this voice never failed to hoot and cheer for her best friend whenever he dodged the ball professionally.

An intercollege championship was going on and our very own Randhir was leading FITE team. It was half time when he ran towards her...

" tu kyu itna exertion kar rahi hai? doctor ne mana kiya hai na...plss aaraam se baith...mere liye match se zyada important tu hai."

S: aww mere rannu...tujhe itni jaldi chod ke ni jaungi...abhi aise bahut saare matches me cheer karna hai maine tereko.

She pulled his cheeks and giggled.

he glared her but couldn't say anything as the refree announced the other  half of the match. She never became tired of cheering him inspite of the ache that started developing in her chest.

The result was obvious and FITE won. On winning Randhir quickly flopped a flying kiss towards Sanyukta as if dedicating his victory to her.

She ran to him after the ceremony ended and hugged him tight.

S: i knew it ki tu hi jeetega. chal bata party kahaa hai?

Rd: Koi party varty nahi...aunty ka phone aaya tha kal check up hai naa tera toh go and sleep fast nahi toh tujhe SRK ki FAN dikhane nahi leke jaunga kal.

S: tune tickets book karli? i love you rannu. han but not more than my Shahrukh.

RD: chal chal ab so jaa jaake.

Sanyu was a heart patient. her heart was very weak since birth. Though she had a surgery after her birth but still the chances of her long survival were almost nil. Randhir being her best friend never left her side at any place. He never had a gf despite of he being that boy every girl dreamt of just because he never wanted anyone to come in between him and his Sanyu. He won't let anything happen to her until he is alive. He loved sanyu more than just a friend but it was she who won't let anyone come closer not even him thinking that it would just spoil the lives cz at the end attachments hurt when they break. Also she was not sure how much more time she had in her life.

It was next day and they were all set to go to the doctor. They attended their appointment. Randhir told her to stay out as he wanted to discuss something with the doctor. She did as she was told.

INSIDE THE CABIN***

RD: did you find any donor?

d: i am afraid Randhir not until now who matches her body.

RD: you said we dont have much time so why are you taking long. Now till the last date if you didnt find  any match you will do as i told you. And please dont tell this to anyone.

d: please do think once again.

RD: I m sure of this doc.

doctor patted his back and Randhir came out.

S: kya bole doctor?? Re bol naa..

Rd: voh teri surgery karni hogi month ke end tak toh abhi donor dhundh re hai b

S: ohh...chal koi ni abhi toh hu na tere sath...

Soon the month ended but they got no donor. Doctor aaked Randhir for the final time if he was sure. Randhir was ready for that.

S: donor mil gaya.
She asked getting ready for the surgery.

Rd: hmm...
He was sitting holding her hand not ready to leave her.

Rd: tu humesha sab kuch kar sakegi ab.

S: basket ball bhi??

Rd: haa basket ball bhi.

He kissed her forehead for the last time as she was being taken to the OT.

The surgery went on for hours and inbetween their parents arrived. No one aware of the coming storm untill doctor informed them when it was completed.
Both the mothers lay shattered on the hospital benches. If they saved one child they lost the other.

After hours of unconsciousness her slumber broke and the frst thing she asked was about HIM.
Her mother again broke down and told her everything not wanting to hide that it was HER Randhir who had gifted her this life sacrificing his own.
Sanyu was shocked will be an understatement.

S: chala gya??? Aise hi chala gaya?? Mai...main toh use pro..propose karne wali thi surgery ke baad...akela chod ke chala gaya mujhe...KYUUUUU???
She threw everything that was kept near her and screamed her shrillest. Thus inviting an attack for her newly found organ. Her body couldn't take this and her mother called the doctor immediately. Urgent treatment was given to her including the electric shocks but it seemed her soul was too adamant to meet her Rannu. Everything failed. Thus things blurred into oblivion and she finally met her Rannu under the glowing shade of heaven.
