He said and took the lift not waiting for her answer .

He didn't even turn towards her side ...nor take a proper look at her whilst saying so ,

Mullai who stood rooted to the ground on seeing his merciless act now felt insulted in that act of his .

He had infact ordered her to come up to his room !

Not an ounce of softness was seen in that voice of his .

He behaves exactly the way he did ,one year on the night of their wedding .

A shiver travelled down her spine in that tone of his .

Along with it , his ruthless behaviour towards Ilango spinned her head .

Needless to remind the honey flown tone of his the previous night he conversed to Pragya .

All of this ate poor Mullai s brain to the core !!!

She repeated that word of once again .

A small fountain of hope and warmth took over her on remembering that word of his ,

But immediately something else too struck her mind ,

His words to Pragya that previously night ,

So all of this is a part of his so called Drama ?

He just expected his wife to be respected !

She was irritated and confused herself so much that she
approached the issue in a totally different dimension .
She didn't think even once that Kathir' s  anger was due to his possessiveness towards her .
Instead she believed that he expected the respect , bluntly for the girl who is standing with the tag of his wife !

Poor girl !

She was so confident and believed his talk to Pragya the previous day that she  didn't dare to clarify it with him .

As she stood clenching her teeth and fidgeting her saree pallu , the intercom screamed aloud .

Him !

She attended it with a hesitance ,

As expected he didn't sound kind at all ,

Instead ,

Kathir : Unnaiya room ku vara solli , 15 minutes aaga poguthu .

His angry voice instantly stimulated her ego , she answered back without hesitation ,

Naan onum Ilango kedaiyaathu _ unga athatal ,urutal laam kekka !

She answered back in a jiffy and then bit her tongue , realising her answer must have raged him more .

But surprisingly ....there was a minute of silence on his end .

He cleared his throat and now spoke in a somewhat levelled tone.... along with an appreciation in his voice ,

Kathir : Nee Ilango maathri illainu purinchukitta romba santhosham than .
Ipo keelaiyaae ninnu ...illatha moolaiya kasakaama ...mela vanthu seru !

He kept the receiver ....with a small smile on his lips that unfortunately Mullai was unaware off !!

But she didn't fail to notice the  sudden streak of change in his voice .

Mullai : Illatha moolaiya kasakrena !
Thimira paaru ...iwangalku ?
Aana ...koral la munadi maathri kovam illaiyaae ? Yen ?

She openly ranted again for sometime ...that once again the intercom rang .

Not answering it this time ,she immediately took the stairs and rushed to their room .

But once inside , Mullai was once again confused and angry with him .

His behaviour towards both Pragya and Ilango occupied her thoughts that she didn't think anything beyond it .

If she had given herself some time without jumping to conclusions , Kathir would have patiently explained it to her .

.But the love struck wife inside het along with some complex that had erupted due to his bossy behaviour made her let words just like that .

Kathir , was angry with Mullai for having allowed that Ilango near her too much and take advantage .

His blood had boiled ad hell on seeing his dirty palm over his wife's dainty fingers .

Kathir himself had treated her like an angel and had been waiting too  patiently to unite with her !!

He didn't want to disturb his wife even a little this time _ so he maintained utmost patience .

But then , seeing some rouge touching her had enraged him .

He was on the peak of explosion _ and had blasted out on Ilango .

As well he was equally angry over Mullai for her carelessness . He didn't suspect her even an inch _ Kathir was damn sure that it was him who was in Mullai' s heart !!!

He didn't have any doubts unlike Mullai in this regard .

His anger on her was different _ he wanted her to know ,where to keep people .

She looked so innocent in this aspect _ it was this anger that made him call her ,

When she herself said that she wasn't like Ilango ... and he can't treat her like Ilango ,his anger levelled down.
Infact he liked the way his wife spoke up with a spine !!

In those few words ...his anger had really evaporated.

But now ,

Hearing her accusations ...his levelled anger turned up high .

Kathir : What the f** k ? Un ishtathuku than nadanthukuviya !

Mullai : Asingama pesathinga ,

Kathir : Naan asingama pesurena ! What nonsense .
Awan munadi nee Ashoka vanthathu Seethai maathri vakanthu erunthathum ,awan ennavo Theva thoothuvan maathri unnaiya kaiyya pudichu aaruthal koduthathum ....antha kandraviya paathavan enna loosa ?

Mullai : Kandravi kaatchiya ! She held her chest on remembering how much pain she had been undergoing since last night . She didn't even realise that Ilango had touched and here her husband claims it as nonsense .
Tears welled up ...she spitted back ,

Kathir instantly melted in those words of hers _ it came out truthfully along with an explainable pain .

He didn't speak for sometime and then said in a low tone ,

Mullai was in full form ...she was ready to pick on him at anytime ,

Not willing to succumb once again to his kind tone she retaliated unexpectedly ,

Kathir was shocked at her accusations and lost his cool now ,

He roared now ,

Ennaiya Ashoka vanathu Seethai nu kindal panna thonum ,

He instantly realised what she meant ,

Kathir : oh hoo ! He said with a sarcasm that she didn't notice ,

She teased him with words again ,

He yelled her own words back at her ,

Kathir' : Manaangatti !

Kathir' : Yen illama ! Naan illainu sollavaae illaiyaae . He immediately accepted that fact alone without hesitation and even tried to explain his stand , See Mullai , I ve been born and brought up that way , so enakae athu theriyum !
But if you had noticed ...I have changed a lot ,

Kathir was frustrated to the core on hearing her repeat the same phrases again and again .

Kathir' : Unnaiya buthisaali ..... yethaiyum nithanama , porumaiya yosichu seyyura ponnunu nenachen .
Sathyama ivlo periya loosa erupaanu theriyama poiduchu di !

Mullai got stimulated in his teasing words that she involuntarily called him by name ,in a shrieking voice ,

Mullai : Kathirrr !

Kathir' froze to the ground for one whole second on hearing her scream his name .

The second next he pulled towards him and pinned her to the wall ,..

His eyes lit and sparkled  as  the  blood red forest fire and lips trembled heavily ,

Kathir' : Ennaiya vera enna solli unna koopida solra ?

He paused for a second in absolute desperation not knowing what to say to convince her . A minute later he came up clear and straight on face to her and declared aloud ,

How do you expect me to behave courteously to a loafer who lays a finger on my woman !

Her simple words had hit the chord right , that the Prince of that huge household outbursted and declared his love for his girl !!!

Mullai failed even to blink her eyes and stood with lips parted staring at him , unable to believe the words he had just said .

She was obviously shocked at such a confession .

Not bothering about it he pressed his body over hers plastering her to the wall and captured her parted dried lips in a long , lengthy wet kiss !!!

Unable to sense what was happening , Mullai' s head was spinning high and body shivered within his arms , when he released her lips from his ... and spoke with a grunt ,..

His voice was thick , heavy and for sure not at all kind _ he spoke rather very rude to her ,in contrast to his fingers that was drawing patterns on her bare back and another hand that wrapped tight and dug into the flesh of her waist .

She could hear his erratic breathing and heart beating fast ...

Hers echoed the same ,

She didn't know what he was upto !

And what he said was still a shocker to her ,

He said in a rude but crystal clear tone now ,

Kathir : Naan thodanumnu nenacha unnaiya than thoda mudiyum , athae maathri than unakum ! Kandavanum ...... un pakkam vantha , awan kaiyya vettiruven !
Itha purinchukaama ....nee thirumba thirumba olarikittu eruntha , ponnunu kooda paakaama , aranchaae kondruven .... understood ?

He yelled as hell and again bent down , pulling her within his tight clutch and kissed her lips once again .

One second he seemed to outburst like dense fire .... and the second next his own words poured out  as honey over it ,

THEEYUM ...THEENUM !
