So it happened so smoothly and effortlessly .

Mullai was the kind of girl who never held expectations beyond her reach . As well her parents and her siblings were her world .
As with any other typical middle class Tamil ponnu in early twenties she did nod her head when her father explained her about her marriage proposal and his consent for it .
So did Parvathi _ except for the fact that the groom was too rich compared to them .
Parvathi wasn't a greedy mother after all .
Though she knew her daughter was invaluable than a gem , she did have that motherly instinct and an insecurity on knowing about the wealth of the groom ..

But once after Ranganathan s family had come and the way Periyanayagi mingled with all of them , Parvathi s fear was reduced more than half .

Still a small part of her heart was yearning to know about the Groom's decision .

When she expressed her fear through her husband , it was Ranganathan who gave her His word !

Mullai who was hearing this didn't know why he was explaining all these details .

But it was Ranghanathan s explanation for it that convinced Parvathi and Murugan' .

That was enough .

Murugan was convinced .

Not only him , even Ranganathan was very sure of his grandson and gave his word .

It was Pandian who selected Dr.Skandan for Saraswathi .
Apart from his medical degree and a neat clean character , Skandan didn't possess much wealth .

But Ranganathan accepted it believing Pandian s word .

Now he held the same faith and confidence in his grandson .

In simple he believed his grandson will accept his word , without second thoughts .

Because apart from wealth , Mullai was all eligible to become the life partner of his grandson .

Things moved on super smooth and fast after that intial meeting .

Sadha was all teeth after the vows were exchanged .

Though the bride and the groom hadn't really met in person , as with any other arranged marriage ,the wedding was finalized by the elders _the first step was taken for good .

The second and most important step : the meeting of the bride and the groom was planned .

Knowing Kathir in and out , Sadha took up the responsibility all by himself with a racing heart .

Sadha knew Kathir very well than anyone in the world _ even more than Ranganathan did .

Though Kathir really held respect for his grandfather and wouldn't cross his words , he never ever was a guy who compromised things for other's sake .

And in this case it was his marriage !

Sadha very well knew that Mullai s economics status as well as the mild crush Kathir had towards Pragya would make Kathir answer a big NO to this marriage , intially .

And Kathir was really a hard nut to crack !

Sadha felt it wasn't the right time to inform Kathir about Mullai .

Instead of accepting his grandfather s word immediately , Sadha knew Kathir would settle down and rather convince Ranganath ,to accept Pragya as the DIL .

The elderly man was too unstable ,when it came to his grandson .

Kathir was his weakness !

Sadha decided to play it shrewd .

After all his young nephew wasn't that badass !!

Ofcourse he might get angry at them intially for not having properly informed .

But once he gets to understand Mullai and her lovable character , Sadha was sure that Kathir would be more than thankful to them for having selected such an angel as his bride .

With this calculation in mind , Sadha volunteered to arrange for the couple' s meet .

But in another way !!!

He convinced Murugan' and family saying that , it would be much easier for the couple to know more about themselves and converse causually ,if they met in a public place or in their scan centre itself .

Sadha preferred the scan centre , as Kathir was currently too busy there .

As well it would be comfortable for Mullai too , to meet him at her work place itself .

Murugan agreed to it .

Ranganathan and family had returned back to Chennai shortly after handing over the responsibility to Sadha .

It made things easier for him ,with Uma too leaving with her in laws .

Kathir and Sadha alone were in Trichy that time .

Kathir had work in Trichy for a couple of days and was to fly off to Dubai that weekend from Trichy itself .

He was to return back to motherland the next month only .

With all this mind , Sadha approached Kathir insisting him to meet a couple of their New Techical Assistants to select an incharge for all the four units .

His plan was to make all the 12 members attend a sort of in person meeting with him and Kathir and then causually introduce Mullai .

But Kathir proved he was more shrewd than his mama .

He straight away came to the point .

The colourful bubbles that had surrounded Sadha till now broke .

He came out of the trance and remembered that Kathir had accepted the person whom he had selected , as his staff incharge and not his life incharge.

Anyways Sadha vowed to himself to make his choice as Kathir s life in charge also .

Playing along his nephew he grinned ...and added ,

His happiness was short lived as Kathir added ,

Kathir : But may be very soon ! Who knows ....he said with a slight dreamy face that alerted Sadha .

Kathir showed a thumbs up .

And with ease .

Ofcourse he wasn't that arrogant an employer .

He was strict but a relatively friendly employer when it came to his employees .

And he promised himself to be extra kind to this known girl of his mama .

So it was how , Mullai got to meet Kathir in person, at his office itself .

Murugan ofcourse had accompanied her .

Sadha made a formal introduction to both the father and daughter .

Sadha was surprised to see Kathir behave friendly to them more than he expected .

After few common speech , Sadha and Murugan left the cabin leaving the youngsters on their own .

Whilst Mullai looked upon him as her fiancee ,her future husband ,

Kathir thought that Mullai had come to thank him on being promoted directly as the '" In charge Bio_ Medical " for all his scan centres .

Mullai had worn a dark ink blue salwar bordered with pink colour sequins , along with a pink net dupatta .
Sadha had asked her to dress up causually in salwars ! ( fearing Kathir may suspect her if she shows up as a typical bride material )
She wore the same small gold jhumkas and the thin gold chain with a single pendant , a simple watch and a bracelet on the other hand .
Her hair was braided in a French pleat .

A plain ,near yet respectfull look for her age and cader .

Her looks as a staff impressed him .

As well she looked too young for her age and qualifications .

Remembering Sadha s words that she was his best friend ' s daughter , Kathir flashed a warm ,heart soothing smile at her .

Mullai looked up mesmerised in that smile of his .

His eyes too seem to sparkle and reflect the smile in his lips !!

As she stood dazzled , his smile broadened and he extended his hand for a handshake -
