Greetings
When I awoke, I was no longer surrounded by the looming fixtures. Instead I was tied to chair, under a single bright light surrounded by a sea of darkness. Nothing moved, besides the flicker of the lighted object every once and awhile, my short and shaky breaths was the only thing I could hear. But not long after I woke up, the sound of something metal opening and closing was heard behind me, followed by heavy footsteps, making my breath hitch in my throat. "Well well well, if it isn't sleeping beauty himself. Have a nice rest? Hope the girls didn't give you too much trouble, if I hadn't been in a good mood the other day. I just might have just let M.T.M slit your throat open and feed your mutilated corpse to Shima." The same gruff voice from yesterday laughed as if he made a joke, I didn't think it sounded funny at all. His heavy footsteps came around from behind me and he now stood before me with his hands in his pockets.
Immediately I notice he has black lip piercings and an eyebrow piercing on his face, and he had a menacingly piercing gaze that chilled me to the bone and his eye colour was an angry red. Also, across his left eye, there was a nasty looking scar. He wore a camouflaged hat with a camouflaged jacket to match, a metal tag hung around his neck that had the initials 'G.S.D' engraved into it, he had dark jeans and black leather boots on as well. And he also had something in his mouth that had smoke coming out of the end, causing the familiar yet foreign feeling of putrid smoke attacking my nose, instinctively scrunching it up in distaste as I coughed. Except it smelled synthetic and yet natural. My back hurting as I shifted as much as the bindings allowed me to. The man pulled a chair in front of me and took it, we were now facing each other.
"Well, why don't we get to know each other, hmm? Let's start with names, shall we? The name's Gun Shot Dolan, the notorious leader of the strongest gang to ever walk this earth." He introduced himself with a smirk, obviously pride in his tone of voice. "... Well, what's your name, kid?" Dolan asked me after a few minutes of silence passed, leaning in a bit. "H-HeckBent....." I croaked reluctantly after I thought for a moment, my raw throat made it hurt to speak. I was unsure if I can trust this man's nature, he does work with those psychos who attacked me. "Huh, well it's nice to meet you, young lad." I flinched when he shot his hand out towards me suddenly, was he offering his hand to me...? That didn't seem quite right. I looked at it warily, a clear look of confusion appearing on my face. "Oh wait, I'm sorry! How silly of me, you're all tied up." Dolan chuckled, smacking his forehead and shaking his head a bit.
"Hey, so the ladies found these books with you. Can you tell me where you got this fancy leather bound book with the Jade in the centre of the cover?" He asked me, resting an elbow on his knee and looking intently at me, I look away to avoid his chilling stare. 'Should I tell him? What if he tries to use me? He can use that book against me, I'm powerless if he gains access to it." My thoughts raced as I bit my lip nervously. "I-It's... my writing book..." I answered quietly. "Are you sure? Why do you have two? I know for sure, this one certainly doesn't say 'Journal' on the front like the other one does, and this one we can't open, nor destroy it. What is it? Is it powerful? Why do you have it?" Dolan clearly started to get impatient, his once friendly expression changed to a mean scowl. "I-I don't know.... I just h-had it with me when I-I got h-here..." I started to shake, the colour draining from my face, I was dead, so dead.
"You're a demon, you look like one. And I know this has something to do with it, and you probably know something about it that I don't. But I'll make you crack to tell me, because it looks valuable and I wanna know if it's a keeper or I'll trash it." Dolan stood abruptly, making me flinch. "Well, until then, you're working under my orders, do you understand? I know you can't do anything to me, because the girls said you didn't even put up a fight when you were taken down. By a couple of girls! What kind of demon are you? A demon that doesn't fight back against a mere mortal, ha, how pitiful." He tapped his chin for a moment, observing me for a moment as I shifted uncomfortably under his judgemental stare. "You look like the part, but you sure don't act like one. And I was sure you would escape easily from these ropes, they're old and can easily snap, and yet you didn't try to escape. Or you couldn't, how hilarious." He laughed, untying my bindings that kept me tied to the chair, except the ones around my wrists as he pulled me to a back room with a metal door, the hinges whined as Dolan opened it. Nothing but an empty dark room.
I didn't have time to register what was happening before I was roughly shoved into the dark room, the metal door slammed shut behind me, I immediately tried to open it, but the sound of something clicking told me otherwise. "Welcome to your new home, you pest." Dolan growled from the other side of the door, I leaned against it, listening as his heavy footsteps got further and further away. After awhile, I sighed. "Now look where you've gotten yourself now, great job. Aren't you just the brightest of the bunch." I said to myself out loud, leaning my head back against the cold metal door that provided little to no alleviation to the throbbing pain in my head. Just the day before yesterday, I was with my siblings and doing my part as a Lower Class. I shut my eyes, trying to block out the pain, hoping to just wake up from this nightmare I was thrown into.
But my nightmare was just beginning.
