SUMMARY!

When EDEN APPLEBAUM's step-mom was elected to be the Vice President of the United States, she really didn't think that meant leaving everything behind and moving to Washington DC to live in whatever the fuck the Naval Observatory was. Alas, that's exactly what happened, so right before her junior year of high school ( come on! They couldn't have picked a better time?! ), she has to pack up her home in San Francisco and move to the East Coast ( which is obviously very inferior to the West Coast ). 

But, she finds that she's not alone. THEODORE FRANK, the new President's son, is in his senior year of high school ( which he argues is a little bit worse ) when moving from Massachusetts to Washington DC. They'd met a couple of times on the campaign trail, but nothing more than exchanging Instagrams and grabbing for the same bottle of water while waiting back stage. But, now, they were going to the same school and coming back to ( basically ) the same property everyday.

Having a teenage First Son and Second Daughter was a perfect storm for the White House PR team. They could effortlessly reach the younger population together, leaving the bigger stuff ( like nuclear launch codes and domestic terrorist groups ) to the adults. However, as Theodore and Eden discover that they're in it for the long haul ( at least 4 years ), they decide that becoming friends would be in their best interest. So, while the First son and the Second daughter run through the halls of the White House, narrowly missing Secret Service and Senators in their races to the kitchen ( because getting new ice cream flavors is very exciting! ) a third thing forms.

NOTES!

𝐢. Eden has an older step-sister who's in college ( and they're very close like text often, send each other Pop tarts from Amazon close ) and Theodore has two or three siblings of varying ages ( but I have a feeling he's either the youngest or second youngest )

𝐢𝐢. I can just imagine Eden and Theodore running through the White House during an event in a ballgown and tux or Eden and Theodore just doing homework together

𝐢𝐢𝐢. Theodore would be the type to use the excuse of he's the first son to get away with literally anything

𝐢𝐯. Both of their sexualities are open to interpretation!

𝐯. She gives me Taurus energy and he gives me Aquarius energy

I feel like there'd be a rivalry between them because they're both extremely high achieving with parents who are literally the President and Vice President in order to get the most attention during joint family dinners ( 100% think those would happen because I feel like the parents would be good/close friends )

𝐯𝐢𝐢. So like kind of enemies to friends to lovers? More like academic rivals to lovers

𝐯𝐢𝐢𝐢. She excels in the humanities and arts while he excels in maths and sciences

𝐢𝐱. They go to the same high school with the kids of Senators and Congressmen and Cabinet members ( this is also what actually happens )

𝐱. There is no password for this fic -- because I'm so attached to it ( it's my little original baby ), but I don't have the time to write it, I do want your ideas, maybe a rough storyboard and a sample of your writing ( if you don't have any books up yet )
