SUMMARY!

THE RED STARLING is notorious for not being known. It's one thing to have the Winter Solider go after you -- granted you won't make it out alive ( however, his margin of error is there, small, but present ), but The Red Starling is another. No one knows who she is or what she looks like. All they know is that she has an 100% success rate and the last thing anyone ever sees is her face. 

HYDRA's breaking down at the seams. With The Winter Soldier escaped and Steve Rogers hot on their tail -- they don't have many options left. However, one of them being their facility for enhanced beings. Or rather, the ones that the mind stone didn't kill. That includes the weird twins and Captain America's sister ( because what's better revenge than having his best friend and sister try and kill him? ). 

Wanda and PIETRO MAXIMOFF are lonely, except for the The Red Starling, who is also housed in their facility, who gets periodically frozen and unfrozen -- stuck eternally at 24. However, in the brief moments in between the unfreezing, the mission and the brain blender, there are a couple seconds to breathe. And those are the seconds of Pietro and Abigail.

The world's turning topsy turvy, literally, as Ultron tries to level an entire city ( just because he can ). The Avengers are struggling to hold off everyone, even with the help of the twins. However, Pietro remembers someone who can help. Someone who, with the snap of her perfect fingers, can bend Ultron to her will. The problem is, with everyone leaving and HYRDA getting desperate, how messed up is she?

NOTES!

𝐢. Abigail is an enhanced being who can control the elements -- to a certain point ( no omnipotent gods here! )

𝐢𝐢. She is not referred to as Abigail by anyone at HYRDA, just her alias and she doesn't know anything from her past, like Bucky. It's all wiped.

𝐢𝐢𝐢. After she goes into the brain blender after missions, she also forgets about the small moments with Pietro. It's a source of pain for him. password is your favorite animal.

𝐢𝐯. However ( ^ ) with Wanda's mind powers, she can bring some of it out ( like how she knows that her name is Abigail )

𝐯. When I say small moments, I don't mean aN aFtErNoOn tOgEtHeR, no it's like 5 or 10 minutes maximum

𝐯𝐢. When she joins them in Sokovia is when Steve sees her again for the first time after he left to go fight in the war.

𝐯𝐢𝐢. mwaha evil backstory! Canonically, both her and Steve's parents died when they were children. Steve was left in charge of her and her well being, but he joined the war effort ( when he became Steve ) despite that and he left her without saying goodbye. HYDRA connected the dots and kidnapped her in an effort to get back at him, but then he went in the ice. She's bitter about it after ( when she gets her mind back ) but mostly just doesn't want to lose anyone else

𝐯𝐢𝐢𝐢. She's very close to Bucky and was before HYDRA, but they went on a few missions together ( she would've been in the shadows in case he didn't follow through or they'd have separate targets ) and so she'd remember him from that too. I can also see her becoming close with Sam too

𝐢𝐱. Does Pietro die? Up to you. However, if he does, it could create a nice character development for her ( she'd be at her lowest, especially after Endgame ). I could see her going down a path like Wanda did and using her magic/powers to build a life for her and some weird projection of him or she could go to the middle of nowhere in like Switzerland or something in a cottage and come back around the time of FATWS to help them ( I could also see her not wanting to fight anymore, as she has her entire life and protecting Sam's sister and nephews )
