SUMMARY!

The film industry is in uproar. The creator/writer/producer/director of one of HBO's most successful shows, Oval, about an alternative president, along the lines of The West Wing, is unknown. They go under a pseudonym: "A. Director". But somehow, they managed to sweep the Emmys and are poised to sweep the Oscars with their movie All at Once, a beautiful narrative about camaraderie in a time of war. And worst of all, they're developing a new show with HBO called Pie, a timely teen show about a boy and his ghost twin sister and navigating the trials and tribulations of high school. 

CLEMENTINE ALCOTT, 16 year old daughter of producer Jordan Alcott, who if you were in the industry and over 40, you would know the name of. She was named after the café that her parents met at, Clementine, though her favorite café was Huckleberry ( which her parents often teased her for, calling it betrayal ). Clem was sweet like the hot chocolate that she ordered, but had kick if someone tried to undermine her or talk down to her. And she has a huge ass secret. 

LOUIS PARTRIDGE almost fainted when he found out that he got asked to audition for Pie as the lead. He had seen every episode of Oval even though he didn't have much interest in American politics and he had cried in the theatres at All at Once. To say he was excited, was an understatement. 

Clementine was the industry's best kept secret. There was no way anyone would let 16 year old girl make as much as she had made if they knew it was her. Everyone who met with her was required to sign a non-disclosure agreement, with a hefty violation price. 

With Clementine poised to make her reveal at the Oscars ( which she was nominated copiously for ), she's very nervous. She's not what you'd call social. 

During Louis's last audition with the final rounders, Clem went in and met each of them after their auditions. Due to procedure, they would tell each of the 5 boys the truth and have them sign a form. She would get mixed reactions when she came in: some applauded her and some didn't believe her. When she walked in to meet Louis, he didn't flinch, he didn't bat an eye. He stuck out his hand and said "nice to meet you!" 

Just like that. It's funny how things can happen so quickly. Just like that, he was cast as the lead. Just like that, a girl who swore that love at first sight was strictly for books reconsidered that belief.

𝐢𝐯. Clem is still in high school ( she's a junior ), but she'll transfer to home schooling once her identity is revealed
