SUMMARY!

ELLA PREWETT is the youngest Prewett sibling. Her brother, Corvus, is an alpha male. Gryffindor, popular, pureblood, keeper on the house quidditch team, now a ministry man. He married his Hogwarts sweetheart and now is the proud father of two children. Ella, is sweetness itself. She fits within the narrative of what women were expected of, but should the occasion call for it, she can bite back. If she loves someone, she know that she must fight them if she thinks they're wrong. 

It's May 1946, Grindelwald was just defeated by Professor Albus Dumbledore. Ella is also graduating and for a woman in the 40s, especially the Hufflepuff Head Girl, things are moving fast. She hopes that her long time boyfriend, Frederick Diggory, will propose soon, seeing as everyone is starting to get married or at least thinking about it. 

Professor Boot, long time Headmaster is also leaving, Professor Dumbledore to replace him. This means that he needs a replacement. But, being pulled away on muggle business, something to do with a world war that just ended, he asks his Head Girl and his Head Boy, Alistair Shacklebolt to interview prospective candidates for Dumbledore's old job, Professor of the Defense Against the Dark Arts. 

Enter TOM RIDDLE. Three years out of Hogwarts and slightly jaded, he's focused on getting that job. But, he isn't Tom Riddle for nothing. If teaching young children how to be proficient witches and wizards doesn't work out, world domination is his backup. And boy does he have enough followers for that. Tom Riddle is suave, reserved and mysterious. He's like fog that just thick enough that you can't see ahead of you, but you aren't suffocated. 

While Alistair is interviewing a debonair adventurer, who is as well applying for the position, Ella is tasked with guiding and interviewing young Tom Riddle. He is someone whom she is slightly familiar with, as he had a tense rivalry with her brother. In one day, her entire life is turned upside down and what she thought she knew is no longer true.

𝐢. Ella's patronus is a unicorn

𝐢𝐢. Ella is very protective of all of the younger students, especially the half bloods and muggleborns

𝐢𝐢𝐢. Tom and Corvus were in the same year at Hogwarts

𝐢𝐯. Tom is extremely dark, yes, but in a twisted way I also feel like he originally wanted to help people

𝐯. Please remember that Tom is not a good person and she should address that

𝐯𝐢. I want to see that tension of beliefs / ideologies because Tom isn't the type to change his mind for a girl and she was brought up too well and cares too much in order to change her mind for a boy. password is what your job would be in the wizarding world

𝐯𝐢𝐢. I had this idea for a part after they meet, where Tom shows her the unicorns in the forbidden forest and she shows him her patronus ( use this idea if you'd like, but it's optional )
