"He granted all my wishes, such a generous magician

He cured me of my illness, so I could walk easily again

The never-ending warfare drew to a close so very soon

And I could not be happier, as laughter filled the room"

(Y/n) P.O.V

We both ended up sitting down on the wooden floor, face to face.  That's when he started to explain a bit about himself and his powers. He had claimed the tittle of a magician, believing he was able to help me through all my sorrows and see the better side of life.

"Life's to short to be sad." Tadashi beamed, reaching over to place a comforting hand on my shoulder. At his touch, i felt as if a giant weight was lifted off my shoulders.

"How did you become a magician?" I asked.

"It's not the how that's important... its the why." Tadashi replied. I gave him a face, only to which "All in good time" was the answer. I so desperately wanted to know his story, his secret, how he believed that he had the power to help me... probably the saddest person in the world.

"I still don't see...."The light"." i quoted his words from a conversation we had not to long ago. Tadashi laughed.

"The light? (Y/n), you have changed so much since the time i had heard you, you were crying and upset, now, you have me as a friend!" He pointed out. I looked at him as i processed that information.

"I guess your right..." I said in realization. "How do you do that?" He looked at me confused.

"Um... Do what exactly?" Tadashi asked. I laughed.

"That! How do you make me happy?" I asked. 

"I'm honestly not that sure myself...i guess talking solved a lot out huh?" Tadashi guessed. i shook my head.

"You claim to be a magician- and for once, you give me hope... What ever that magic is made from- it's amazing stuff for sure." I exclaimed.

"You remind me of my younger brother." Tadashi piped up. "Always full of energy and mischief." Tadashi nodded his head at the memory,

"I don't have any siblings." I muttered.

"Don't worry, neither do i." Tadashi sighed. i frowned in confusion.

"But you said-"

"I had a brother..." Tadashi cut in. "I no longer do." The room went silent after that.

"I'm so sorry, at least you have your mom and dad?" I pointed out. Tadashi sighed heavier and shook his head again.

"They died when i was young..." Tadashi grinned. "I remember when we would all go to the park and play at the swing set- they were our favorite pieces of equipment."

I stared in awe as Tadashi smiled. This guy had literally nothing yet he still smiled, he was really happy and he didn't seem so bothered by the touchy subject. "How can you still smile after all you have been through?" I asked him. He looked straight into my eyes.

"Life's to short to be sad (Y/n)... we never know if we will come back as another person, go to heaven or hell or die off completely so i figure you should make the most of the life you have now... i'm sure even ghosts wouldn't know what happens after they die...if they die." Tadashi explained. 

A smile tugged at the corner of my lips. "Yeah... you're right... again! Thanks Tadashi!" I giggled, hugging him once more. 

That's when he leaned towards my face. I could feel the heat rushing to my head as i felt embarrassed. What was he thinking?! It was way to awkward for even my bran to process at the time.

"Come on (Y/n), laugh!" Tadashi whispered. OKAY.... that was... creepy... 

All of a sudden, Tadashi had knocked me on my back and began to tickle me. Tears were forming as i lost my breath relatively quickly due to my fit of laughter. Once Tadashi had calmed down and stopped the tickling war, i gained my posture and sat in front of him once more.

"See! You can laugh!' Tadashi exclaimed. And he was right. Laughter had filled the room and it wasn't the canned laughter you get from those silly TV  shows either. The fact was that it was MY laughter that filled the room.

"See?" Tadashi smirked. "You are starting to see the light after all!" I grinned as i burst into another fit of laughter, trying to shake Tadashi off and stop him from tickling me.
